In this spoken monologue, Axél Antojai Carrasquillo explains how fear manifests in the root chakra, emphasizing its dual nature: a biological, instinctive fear hard‑wired into DNA, and a constructed, psychological fear built from memory, imagination, cultural programming, and societal expectations. He describes fear as a contracting energy that lowers vibrational frequency, narrows perception, and creates an illusion of separation from safety, love, and progress. Prolonged fear expands the perceived distance between self and others, distorts the experience of time, and traps the individual in loops of past trauma and future anticipation. Carrasquillo argues that fear becomes real only when one focuses on it, citing the Buddha’s teaching that “the mind is everything” and the Law of Attraction’s principle that attention attracts similar energy. The overall message is that recognizing the dual nature of fear and its energetic effects is essential for clearing fear from the root chakra.

This is your root chakra, and your root chakra has a positive and a negative charge. So when you're dealing with fear and trying to clear it out of the root chakra, you have to keep this in mind. There's a dual nature to fear. We have constructed fear, which is psychological, and then we have biological fear on the positive side, which is hardwired into your DNA. Biological fear is instinctive, evolutionary, quick, unconscious, and autonomic. Constructed fear is like rejection, failure of success, judgment, childhood trauma, societal norms, which is all built off of memory, imagination, and cultural programming. Basically, this is all the stuff that humans experience on a daily life, and they learn it and they pass it on to others. Biological fear is real in the nervous system itself. Constructed fear is all about agreement, which basically makes it unreal. An example of this is, everyone's always criticizing me, thinking about me, talking about me. That's not actually true. That's a construct in your mind that you're running with. Biological fear is more so like, hey, if you see a tiger, there's a high chance that the tiger might be hungry. Just like you can expand your energy, you can contract your energy. So fear is a contractual energy. It brings everything back in. It drops your frequency and narrows your perception. So it ends up being a psychological trait that you wire into your system. And what's interesting is that fear is actually an illusion of separation. It can be separation from safety, from love, from progress. But essentially, when you have a lot of fear, you're incorporating a lot of space. Space. So at the same time, as you're contracting your energy inward, you're expanding the distance between you and something else. And what's really interesting is that if you stay in fear long enough, it starts distorting time around you, keeping you stuck in a loop of past trauma and future anticipation. So is fear real? Yes, only if you focus on it. Because the more you focus on the fear, the more you start magnetizing that energy to you. Then you're going to come up with a bunch of different reasons and examples and proofs as to why you should be fearful. The Buddha said that the mind is everything and what you think you become. And the Law of Attraction tells you what you focus on. You attract like and follow for more until high.
