How To Stay Focused While Manifesting - [Why Do You Do What You Do?]

In this solo video, Axél Antojai Carrasquillo (the Onto High Community) presents the question “Why do you do the things that you do?” as a central tool for aligning intentions, uncovering subconscious motivations, and improving manifestation outcomes. He explains how many people pursue goals (e.g., a new car or house) without understanding the deeper why, leading to dissatisfaction and a repetitive cycle of unfulfilling achievements. By repeatedly asking this question, individuals can surface hidden trauma, triggers, and authentic desires, allowing them to make conscious choices that break negative patterns. Carrasquillo connects the practice to discovering one’s dharma or soul mission, illustrating how his own journey evolved from simply sharing Reiki energy to building a global community. He demonstrates how practitioners can use the question with clients to reveal underlying programs (e.g., childhood neglect influencing relationship conflicts). The video also links the inquiry to an alchemical chakra framework: the solar plexus (mind), throat (authenticity), and the eighth “halo” chakra (transcendence), suggesting that aligning thoughts (third chakra) with authentic expression (fifth chakra) creates transformative energy. Practical advice includes regular journaling, meditation, and revisiting the question every six months to maintain clarity. The video concludes with a call to subscribe and offers coaching, an academy, and community resources for deeper work.

Why do you do the things that you do? This is a major question that I come back to multiple times across the year just to make sure that I'm on point with all of my manifestations. So if you're feeling lost at any moment in your life, this question will help you recenter your energies onto the things that you're creating. And even when you're switching from one manifestation to another, this question can help you really, really bring out a lot of magic. If you're new to the channel. Welcome to the Onto High Community. My name is Xcel Carrasquillo, and on this channel we talk about Reiki, energy, medicine, ascension, and so much more. Don't forget to subscribe, comment and share. So the question here is, why do you do the things that you do? A lot of times people do things and they're just like, oh, I just felt, felt like doing it. But why did you feel like doing it? Is the major question here. It's the, the main thing that's going to drive the rest of your creations. Because a lot of times people are going to create something, they're going to manifest something, but they don't have a sure why as to what's driving them to create this thing. And then when they get their manifestation, they're still unsatisfied. I've been there a million times. I know a ton of people that have been there a million times. And this is the way you bypass or you ascend past this major, like, manifestation trap. If you're trying to manifest a car, for instance, are you trying to manifest that car just so you can have a brand new car? Are you trying to manifest that car so that you can have a better lifestyle in general with you and your family, so that you guys have something reliable? Why do you do the things that you do, right, if you're just going after the car? Because the car just is shiny and it looks like it's going to be a great investment and it might make you happy when you have it because maybe all your other friends have a nice car. You're going to notice at the time that you end up manifesting this car. It's not going to feel good. It's not going to feel like it was actually what you wanted and you'll get the car. You'll end up saying, what's the next thing I want? Well, I need, I need a new house, right? And you'll go after that house doing the same kind of like pattern that you have, and you're going to just fall into again, having the house and not feeling sufficient enough with yourself, right? So when you're really in this place of creating any manifestation, why are you creating this manifestation? Why do you do the things you do? Even if we're not talking about manifesting, asking yourself why you do the things you do is going to be a super, super important question, because it helps you get to know who you are authentically. Do. Do you always get triggered when you're talking to your sister, for instance? Why do you always get triggered when you're talking to your sister? Why do you do the things that you do? By asking yourself that, you can then reflect on it and be like, well, I still carry a lot of trauma of when me and my sister were growing up. And then, you know, that kind of just always surfaces in the middle of our conversation. Why do you do the things you do? When you're able to look at the answer to any of those questions in any portion of your life, you then you're able to make choices that go against your natural trigger. So a trigger is something that we respond to automatically, and we don't always have a direct thinking process for it, right? So, like, somebody cuts you off on the road, your trigger is to start cussing, right? And yelling and maybe honk your horn as a byproduct, right? You didn't really think about it, but there is a reason why you did that. There was a thought or a consciousness behind your trigger that made you do that. Why did you do that? Why are you doing certain things in your life that are causing you rather negative experiences or positive experiences? Because even when you're doing things that cause you positive experiences, you want to know why you're doing them. Because that helps you create more of the same. If you really, really love making new friends and you realize that the best quality friends that you have are coming from doing a specific activity, like a Reiki share or something like that, or why do you do the things you do? Right. One of the things that this question has really helped me focus on personally is my soul mission, your dharma, your purpose in this reality. When you're sitting down and you're asking yourself, okay, like, how have I gotten to where I'm at? Like, why am I doing this? In general, you're going to be able to really pinpoint as to what gives you the opportunity to become better at what you're doing. One of the things that I realized that throughout my career in terms of energy, medicine, and helping people all around the world was when I started off Doing this, I didn't have any. Any expectations of anything. I just was like, I have this. I'm going to share it with as many people want that, want to embrace this energy, and I'm just going to see what happens from there, right? And I started kind of like just living that lifestyle, and things progressively came together. My original why was to just share. As I grew, I realized, okay, well, this is a big project than what I can even see. It's not just about sharing anymore. It's about building something, right? And then I had to come to a new conclusion. So, like, why am I still sharing these things? What is the end goal? Why am I doing this in general, right? And then I was like, oh, it's to grow a global community, which we are here now experiencing together. And as I've grown, even past that, I've had to come back and ask myself, why am I still doing the things that I'm doing, right? And the way that I'm doing them? And it's okay. When you ask yourself and you say, why am I doing the things that I'm doing? And you come to a conclusion of saying, I don't want to do that anymore, or I don't resonate with that anymore, because that is giving you the opportunity to refined your refine your sole purpose. A lot of times people think that their sole purpose or their dharma, especially when we're working with reiki and energy work and stuff like that, is just going to come out of nowhere and just be super, super apparent to you at any point in your life. And that's not how it works. It's a little bit of giving you signs, giving you clarity, and then have to come back into a reflective state and ask yourself, do I want to do that or do I still want to go in this direction? Do I want to still be the same person that I've always been? This question of why do you do the things that you do? Is very profound. And when you sit down and you meditate within, you give yourself time to journal or just reflect over the course of a week on what this means to you, you're going to notice that you get a lot of profound answers that you normally wouldn't be able to come up with. Now, asking this question to one of your clients, especially when you're working with someone in terms of energy healing, is extremely powerful. Like when a client comes to you and they say, oh, you know, I have a really bad relationship with my significant other. We're always fighting. Why are you always fighting? Because he doesn't listen to me. Okay. Why do you need him to listen to you? Because I used to be ignored when I was a child. Why is this still resonating in your reality? And you can use this question of why you do the things you do. And you can rephrase it ever so slightly, especially when you're working with another person. And it gives you a lot of deep detail as to the way that the programs of that person work, the way they think, the way they perceive reality, and the things that they're even going to do next as a byproduct of working with you. So I hope this really helps you. This is just a quick thing that always keep in mind when you're working with yourself and with other people, you're going to come back to this question. And if you have to, like, write it down, so you remind yourself maybe every six months, like, why am I doing what I'm doing? Right? And you get really good at answering that question for yourself. I promise you, your manifestations are going to go across, like the board. They're going to just go super, super high up there. And you're going to manifest, not only faster, you're going to manifest easier, and you're going to manifest better, bigger projects that you couldn't even have imagined before. Because now you're getting clear, you're getting authentic, you're getting real with yourself. Your solar plexus is where your mind is, okay? Right here. Your solar plexus is where your mind is, is. And you're thinking, right? Your mind thinks thoughts. And your throat chakra is associated to your authenticity. So when you're asking yourself this question of why do I do the things that I do, you're mixing alchemy. Alchemy is like the science of consciousness. You're mixing the energies of the throat chakra with the solar plexus chakra, and you're thinking authentically about what you want. When you take the fifth chakra and the third chakra and you add them together, they equal eight, okay? So they end up equaling eight, and that ends up being transcendence. That ends up being transformation. Your eighth chakra is your halo chakra. So. So a lot of times we think that in order for us to do powerful, transformative energy work, we have to be like, oh, meditating or actually applying the energy back and forth. But really, energy work is even the thoughts that you ask yourself and the thoughts that you ask other people when you're working with them.
