He argues that the common advice—assuming you have already achieved your desire—is often the longest route. Instead, he suggests assuming that the universe is actively cooperating with you, treating it like a supportive friend who will help you obtain what you want. This cooperative‑universe mindset, he claims, accelerates results compared to merely visualizing the end state. He also warns about the “dark side” of the law: if you internally hope not to lose (e.g., “I hope I don’t lose the game”), you are actually focusing on loss, which can manifest the undesired outcome. This is how you actually use law of assumption. Oftentimes people are going to tell you, okay, this is the thing that you want. So assume that you've already gotten it. But that's usually the wrong way and the longest way to use the law of assumption. One of the easiest way to do it is to assume that the universe is actually working with you to attain the thing that you want. So if you can assume that the universe is actually like your best friend, and it's like, you know what, you said you wanted that one thing. I got you, I'm going to help you, you actually manifest a lot faster than just focusing on the assumption that you've attained the object that you really want. The dark side of the law of assumption is that let's say that you're like, I'm going to win this game, right? But internally you're like, I hope I don't lose this game. Through the law of assumption. You're basically focusing on the losing and not the winning. And because you're assuming that you're going to lose, most likely you're going to lose that game. Personally, I don't use the law of assumption other than just saying the universe is constantly working with me. I'm co creating with the universe because that's just a lot easier than all these other manifestation techniques that most of these coaches will give you.
