In this instructional video, Axél Antojai Carrasquillo demonstrates how to perform the Atum tarot spread, a 9‑card layout arranged in three rows. He explains the traditional “organic” method of shuffling, laying out the cards, and then adding successive layers—up to nine—by reshuffling and re‑laying cards, reading each layer in sets of three. He describes various reading patterns (e.g., vertical columns, diagonal sequences) that generate multiple pairs of Atum readings, ultimately producing up to nine paired interpretations. Carrasquillo then introduces a ChatGPT‑powered “Tarot Bot” that can automate the drawing and interpretation process. He emphasizes the importance of keeping the query concise and focused on a single theme (e.g., a relationship) throughout the entire layered reading, warning that mixed‑topic questions cause “bleed” and reduce clarity. The video concludes with a reminder to maintain clear intention and follow through with the bot for deeper insights.

How's it going, Soul Fam? So hopefully you can hear me well. I cannot find my microphone right now, but I'm going to teach you really fast how to use the ChatGPT prompt with the Spread of Atum. Now you could do it two ways. You can do it the old organic way that I've been doing it for years, which you shuffle your deck and then you just set out 9 cards. So 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and I'll just push these a little bit upward. So I can make space for all of them. And then 8, 9 right here. So here we have 9. I'm trying to count them as I'm trying to lay them out. So imagining that we had them all in frame, right? You would do 1 through 3, 4 through 6, 7 through 9 all across, okay? And then sometimes I pull out the top card, I put it over here, and then I flip the whole entire deck over and I put it over here. Right? So then when you're reading, you— I have it in the booklet as well, in your tarot booklet, how to do the spread, right? And I've done a tutorial on the actual course online, so I'm not going to do the re-tutorial. But there's one way you could do this. You could pull all these cards, and then once you're done pulling them, you can leave it all there, shuffle again, and then do another layer. Read that layer, you know, and you end up always doing this if you want to, right? And then it— you could do this up to 9 times, okay? So what I end up doing is like I pull 3 of these and then I read them, right? So I, I end up doing 3 layers of the, the Book of Atum, and then I read all 3 cards together, and then I do different patterns, right? So I'll do every other, right? And then I'll do every other, and then I'll end up doing like, uh, 1, 4, 7, 2, 5, 8, 3, 6, 9. Okay, sometimes I read them across this way, sometimes I read them across that way. There's a lot of different ways that you can pull out the cards and keep pulling out, right? So every set of threes, you do 3 sets of Atum, you read them. Then you do 6 sets of Atum, you read that second set of 3, and then you compare the— the second pair of 3 with the first pair of 3. So you're reading 6 different pairs of Atum. Then you do it one more time and you'll end up having 9 pairs of Atum and you read them together. Now this can take you a really long time if you are doing it by yourself organically with the booklet and everything, but now that I have the, the, um, Tarot Bot, you can just tell it I'm gonna do the Book of Atum, and then you can pull your first 9 cards and ask it a question, right? And then when you— as you keep going deeper and deeper and deeper, there are different commands that you're going to see in the prompt that will have the deck do all the heavy lifting for you. Now, the main thing that you want to know about this entire spread is that you want to keep your questions concise. So if you're asking about your relationship, you want the whole entire reading to focus on your relationship. It can be different focuses on your relationship, like what's our connection, what does the future hold, why are we, you know, at odds, etc., but it should be around the same subject matter. You you don't want to say, what's going on my relationship, and then a couple of tomb spreads in ask, you know, what should I do next year when it comes to my vacation? The two are not very connected to each other, so there might be a, um, a bleed where it's really difficult for the cards to actually answer specifically what you're asking for clearly. So just make sure that you do everything with a clear intention, clear question, and then use the Tarot Bot to make your reading even deeper. The Tarot Bot is extremely powerful, so if you're start this whole Atum spread, make sure that you follow through however far you go, because the moment you start reading a totally different question, uh, you're kind of going to lose track of what it is that you're creating. So let me know how this works for you, and I'll catch you in the next episode.
