So two weeks out from the wedding, you've lost the makeup artist. The makeup artist has told you, don't worry, we've got a replacement. That replacement was actually no good. That happened probably four or five days, probably up to a week before the wedding now. So I was messaging the replacement. Oh, sorry, I can't do it. We're now a week out from the wedding. Like, what do you expect me to do? Quite a few of our clients, when we send them pricing for makeup, they're shocked at the prices. But I think what they don't realise is you're not finding these products here. You know, you have to fly to Australia or get a friend to fly to Australia or pay someone to go shopping or for shipping. And I don't know if you've ever shipped makeup here, but the tax to get makeup into this country, if you buy it online, is like 100%, isn't it? Yes. So if you buy a $90 foundation, you have to pay $90 in tax. So that is really bumping up the cost. So expensive. I don't really know, but we did have a full meltdown in a bridal room. Bruno had to make a phone call and beg the hair and makeup artist to come back, which I don't think they ever got paid for, by the way. They didn't. But, you know, I think it's really important to notice almost halfway home, it's really important to note for a bride. Like, unless you book Touch Ups, your hair and makeup artist is going to leave when they're done. Like, they're not your mum, they're not there to hold your hand. And down the aisle, when their job's done, they go home.
