HealthCheckZen is an API app that screens COVID-19 symptoms for India, where there's one doctor per 1,600 people. It uses a weighted questionnaire that adapts to each user's answers, feeds into a machine-learning model, and recommends monitoring, isolation, or seeing a doctor. The app works in Hindi and Bengali and improves as it collects more data.
In a country like India having a population of over 1.3 billion people, India has a doctor-to-population ratio of 1:1600. Hence, this API would give a first advice to patients which can reduce a bit of stress on doctors and hospitals created due to panic about the virus. This API Health Check Zen is a primary level detection of COVID-19 signs to detect, monitor, avail, and suggestions via some simple questions asked by an application. According to each answer, the question changes with the weightage to the question given by medical researchers and doctors. Decision tree is being populated by the answers and the weightage that it carries. At each level, they were learning from the answers and creating a model. After analysis, it can provide suggestions to the user according to severity of each case. Also, this app supports other languages like Hindi and Bengali and has planned to even further support more languages because By statistics, it has been seen that there are more users who would be using the app from other languages other than English. We see that it gives a recommendation like for this survey, the recommendation is to thoroughly monitor your symptoms, better to consult a physician, maintain self-isolation at home, COVID-19 test may be required at your physician's advice. Accordingly, it gives advice according to the survey. And with machine learning, with more data, and also it tracks the user's location. Hence, using these data, the model will get even better and better, and give you even better advice. Thank you.
