I grew up mouth breathing, had some myofunctional therapy issues where they extracted teeth and retracted my jaws back, and had all this pain running from the jaw down to the hip. Couldn't speak, couldn't eat, but never really knew what was going on. So I went to a lot of different opinions from TMJ specialists in New Jersey, and I, I really didn't get a good feeling that any of them knew how to treat me properly. I found Dr. Bill Hang's name I went on YouTube and he explained that because of the poor orthodontics, traditional orthodontics that I had as a teenager, my jaws were set too far back. And I was like, this is the guy, he's going to be able to help me. The only option really was jaw surgery, and he was going to help me prepare for that as quickly as possible because of the pain I was in. And he did a great job with that. Without that surgery, I wouldn't be here today. He saved my life.
