Today, my Mac was down to a few gigabytes free. I investigated - it was related to Grok Bot, which was fine. What filled the drive was leftover copies the updater never cleaned up: 729 copies of Grok https://t.co/GkB9pm0XxG, 221,616 files, and 224.4 GiB of real disk space (225 GiB of allocated blocks). None of it was my chats.
Where I live, silence is the default. I love it here. But I also love to get shit from Amazon. StarLink V4 at home, and StarLink Mini in my car break the silence.
This week, I seated a Grok Bot (@bot) as a Coda (@coda_hq / SuperDocs) operator. Not a chatbot with a Coda tab. A named assistant with my permissions, official MCP tools, a written constitution, and standing instructions on the connector. It can find a doc, lock the URI, read a schema, write a row, and read the result back. It can also write its own operating charter in Coda and then adhere to it.
