This is a YouTube video titled "Keep your own groove going..." containing a motivational monologue recorded in August 2025. The speaker uses the metaphor of dancing to discuss how to handle volatility and chaos in the world by maintaining one's own values and rhythm. The content is a single-speaker motivational talk without multiple participants.
I want to talk to you about the volatility, the uncertainty, the complexity, the chaos that we're dealing with in the world right now. And I want to frame it in the concept of dancing and a dancing partner. Imagine, if you will, that you're having a good time dancing with your partner, and your partner just freaks out and starts dancing in a way that is uncomfortable for you, that you can't recognize, you can't deal with. Well, there's a few different ways that you might respond to that. One of them is you could just leave the dance floor, right? You could get out and. And abandon it. Another one, a second one is you could just stop dancing. You could freeze and just look at them, like, get rigid, right? I want to propose an alternative. Maybe hold your own tempo, Dance in the way that works for you in a calm way or in whatever way feels like your vibe, and then let them find their way back to you right in the face of the chaos of the world. Dance with it. Don't stop moving. Be agile, be nimble, be flexible, but hold your own groove. Dance in a way that's consistent with your values, with your purpose, with your strengths, with what lights you up in the world. Hope that's helpful for you. Drop me a note. Tell me how that makes a difference, what that does for you. Love to hear.
