A short YouTube piece (single speaker) offering practical communication advice: stop over-polishing your language to seem impressive and instead adopt a simpler system to connect better with audiences. The speaker draws on experience working with teams and traveling.
What I've noticed in my. My travels, working with different teams, is that people struggle with how to talk to people. So we've made it. We have a system to make it easier to have a better conversation. And part of it, part of it is just not trying so hard, is that people are trying so hard to sound impressive and be smart, but you know, frankly, that nobody really cares. And the harder you try to sound super smart or impressive or polished, really, the more you disconnect from your audience, then you connect with your audience.
