This short YouTube presentation (single-speaker) explains that the "C" in the mnemonic "chutzpah" stands for "carpe diem"—the philosophy of seizing the day by acting immediately rather than postponing. The speaker uses advertising examples (e.g., Nike's "Just Do It") to illustrate the point that delaying research or approvals risks losing opportunities; the section reinforces an action-first mindset.

The carpe diem. If we think of the word chutzpah, there are eight letters. There are eight key behaviors and characteristics to make the model memorable. I'm working off of that. So the C in chutzpah stands for carpe diem, which those of us who are can speak are familiar with these Latin phrases, go, oh, that Seize the day. Well, we all know that that is a powerful piece of advice through history. So we think of the great advertisers, Nike, just do it. That in essence, carpe diem. Carpe diem says nothing starts till we frankly get off of our rear ends and decide it is time. So if we see an opportunity and we decide, you know, that's great, I'm going to research that for the next four months and then I'm going to speak to some advisors and then I'm going to check on funding by. By the time they get around to it, if they actually ever do get around to it, it's gone. Carpe diem basically says you have a philosophy.
