God stretches you through success, then humbles you to keep you dependent on Him. When blessings come, worship the giver, not the gift. Each victory should lead you back to Jesus, not away from Him.
God will never give you so much that you stop needing him. He'll bless you, then he'll stretch you. He'll increase you, and then he'll humble you. It's to remind you of where you came from. It's to remind you of whose you are. It's to remind you of how good he is. So when the blessing finally arrives, don't allow that to be your achievement. Don't let that be your worship. You worship the giver. And every victory becomes another reason to fall at the feet of Jesus.
