In this brief sermon, Blake R. Templeton argues that true success is not achieved by chasing external opportunities but by undergoing an internal transformation that aligns a person with God. He explains that when one stops pursuing success and surrenders to divine guidance, doors open, favor follows, and opportunities are attracted rather than chased. He cites Psalm 90:17—“establish the work of our hands”—to emphasize that the King (God) is the one who establishes and blesses the work we do when we are in alignment with Him. The message calls listeners to surrender, seek internal change, and trust that God will provide and establish their efforts.

There's so much irony in success, but real success doesn't come from seeking the external. You change internally to get the external. When a man stops seeking and chasing success, he starts attracting alignment to God. Doors open, favor finds him. He switch— so he don't— he no longer chases opportunities. They are attracted to him by the provisions of God. Psalm 90:17 says, establish the work of our hands. That's the King of Kings. That's the one who does it. The King establishes the work of our hands. We are to be surrendered in alignment to him.
