Blake Robert Templeton explains the difference between a slave mindset that obeys the enemy and a son mindset that exercises authority. Believers are seated in heavenly places with Christ, which means they legislate earth from heaven rather than begging for it. Your soul is the operating system; your spirit communicates with God.

A slave obeys commands of the enemy. A son carries authority over the enemy. So let me talk to you about the operating system. The son of wisdom lives from a completely different operating system. He doesn't react to the seen. He governs from the unseen. Ephesians 2:6 says something very staggering. It says that God raised us up with Christ in Christ and seated us in heavenly places. So this is a place in the unseen realm, and something is supposed to go there. And we know it's the actual soul. Your body's still down here, but your soul and your spirit— your spirit is how you communicate with God, and your soul is the actual system, the spiritual operating system, your emotions, your will, your thoughts, your personality. That's what Christ bought. That's what the blood's actually for. Most Christians read that as poetry. Ah, we're going to heavenly places. Abstract, kind of cool. But this is actually positional authority. This is what the game of life is all about. The Son of Wisdom understands something most leavers never grasp. He does not beg any longer for heaven from earth. He now legislates earth from heaven.
