Blake Robert Templeton argues the spiritual enemy starts with small frustrations: waking up late, tech glitches, bad weather, slow service. These irritations pull you out of your heavenly mindset into reactive thoughts, letting the enemy control you like a puppet away from God's operating system.
Chapters
The enemy normally attacks with irritation. Now think about that in your day. The enemy always starts with something small. You wake up late. Something in your world shifts. A software quits working. You realize that when you went outside, it was hot or cold, and it was conflictual against what your desire was. Your food when you went to the restaurant was late, and you had an expectation that wasn't met, so there's a gap. It starts with the tiniest things, because what the enemy wants to do. He's looking to frustrate you, to get you to leave heavenly places, to leave the throne room of God, to leave the operating system of heaven, God's thoughts and his emotions, and get you to have his thoughts and his emotions. Because if he can get you to live in the scene, everything you function from is in this scene, then he controls you like a puppet.
