In this brief sermon excerpt, Blake R. Templeton critiques contemporary notions of male success that prioritize glamour, loudness, and flashiness. He asserts that, within the kingdom of God, a truly biblical man embodies quiet authority, unwavering steadiness, and an exclusive focus on hearing God’s voice. Such a man’s presence causes demons to tremble because he is solid, unchanging, and not swayed by emotional winds. The passage juxtaposes worldly definitions of success with a spiritual, biblical standard of masculinity.
