Okay, so let's talk about some quick tips for managing your finances in your small business. So the very first thing would be to make sure that you have a cloud accounting solution with up to date financial records. I speak to this a lot. We call our system Profit Simple, Making Profit Simple. Part of the reason is a lot of people get overwhelmed with the knowledge and keeping up with their financial information in their business. So there's three components that need to happen for you to have really good financial management in your business. The very first one is you have up to date records. It's imperative that whether it's you or it's a firm like ours that you outsource bookkeeping to that all of your information is up to date. We cannot run a business with out of date information because we use this information to make good decisions and strategic decisions. And if it's inaccurate or it's out of date, then that's a major problem. The second, and I sort of alluded to it here, is accuracy. We need to make sure that whoever is doing this and completing this information is doing it in an accurate way. The worst thing we could have is up to date financials that are giving us the wrong message or the wrong insights. So we need to make sure that accuracy is a priority. Has to be up to date, it has to be accurate. The third mechanism or tip related to financial management in your business is that you need to understand what these reports mean. I know a lot of times people are looking at their finances and they'll suggest to me that it's like looking at the matrix screen, lots of code coming down, not really understanding what it means. So if you don't have an understanding, you need to work with someone who does have an understanding of what these numbers mean, what it's telling us, so that we can use this information to empower us with the confidence to know what decisions we need to make next in our business. So those are really the three financial principles and quick tips that you need to have in order to optimize your financial management and your business.
