Hello, friends. Happy Tuesday. Happy middle of August. It is good to be back with you. Hopefully you've got sound here. I have been having some sound issues, so if you can please just confirm that we have sound, that would be awesome. Efren's in the house. Congrats on your ebook launch today. Today, my friend, the opposite is true. So I don't know if you can post links, but Angela, I believe can post a link to your ebook that is out today. So Angela can go ahead and do that, assuming you guys are actually hearing me again. I've had audio and it's not showing. It's not showing my audio as working, so I'm just gonna wait for a sec to make sure that we do have sound. Sounds good. Okay, awesome. Thank you, Angela. Okay. And Bill's in the house and Stella's here, so happy days. Oh, and I see Ron is here too. Fantastic. So welcome everyone. So to bring things back after my July hiatus from live streams, I thought we would just open it up and help me catch up because I wasn't as diligent about responding to questions. So of course, if you also have questions today, you can go ahead. Before I do that, a couple pieces of important housekeeping. Number one, self publish and succeed live, our 12 week course to help you get your first draft written. It's going live again on September 11. We already have a fantastic group of folks that are already in the class and I am excited to invite other people to join in. So the link for that which Angela will post in the comments and I'll put in the description after. For those of you watching the replay, it's self publishand succeed.com forward/live class and it's 12 weeks. I'd say a little bit over half of it's going to be taught by me and then the other classes will be taught by various experts from my team, from our marketing team to our production team, to our writing team. You also get a one on one call with a writing coach and a one on one call with our book marketing manager. So we pack a lot in and the goal is that at the start of 2024, you're submitting your manuscript for a content edit. So kind of exciting. I had a blast with the last group and I'm really excited about the people who are already registered for this group. So grab your spot if you want to get your book written before the end of the year and you want some support, some camaraderie, some accountability structure to get that done. Besides that, our next deep Dive will be happening in September, so there's nothing in August. Make sure you're on our newsletter list so you get invited to that. And I'm just checking out the. I'm just listening. I just checked out Ron and, and Angela having a good old conversation. Monica's in the house, so hello. And KL KLM Studios. So welcome. All right, so I think what I'm gonna do also, if you're new to the live streams, we also have prizes for being here and that's what I'm gonna start with. So. So we also have our fabulous six year anniversary swag. So we have hats, we have our T shirts and we of course have copies of Self Publish and Succeed, our oh so soft journal. And I don't know where my mug went to. That's kind of interesting actually. It appears my hashtag no boring books mug grew some legs. Interesting. I don't know. I don't know where it's gone to. Regardless, I'm going to kick it off with the first person to say hello today was Stella Golf. So Stella, congratulations. You have won a prize. Depending on where you're located, if you're located in the US you can pick. You get your pick. If you aren't in the US you can have a copy of Self Publish and Succeed or a Journal because that's what we ship outside. So Angela is the person to email with your, your mailing address and your prize choice. And, and if you're feeling jealous of Stella, that's okay. I got more prizes for you today. And by the way, we're almost at 50,000 subscribers. So thank you, thank you to all of you. And if you're not subscribed, please go ahead and take a moment to do that right now because at 50,000 we are going to have a virtual party where we give away a lot of stuff. So we'll be clearing out a lot of our T shirt, hat, T shirts, hats, journals, mugs, all of that stuff. And Angela will say thank you because she stores them at her house. So. All right, let's get into some questions. I'm going to pull up my YouTube comments that you that came in over the last month and I have not responded to because a lot of comments came in and I was out of the groove of responding to every single comment. And so let me just go back a month in the archives of questions that have not been answered. And here we go. So first of all, we have Jekwu. Can I please record a book that's not mine without permission as an audiobook or get paid for it whilst I upload it on platforms. The answer to that is no, unless it's in the comments. Is that what it's called? I just blanked on the stuff. That's really old and it no longer has copyright, but otherwise, no, you can't do that. Please don't do that. That is stealing someone else's work and profiting from it, especially doing it without permission. And then this is an old one, I think, from Efren. Although weirdly, Efren. I'll show you guys what this looks. Present the share screen. And let me. It says this is easier with two monitors, but I do not have two monitors, so let's see if it's going to let me do this entire screen. Here we go. Okay, so popping on over, because I'm going to do a random name picker in a second, so we might as well share a screen for this. So. So hopefully you can see the comments here and the comment that I'm referring to, Efren, I believe this is you, but this is what it's showing now on my backside. So I don't know if you changed your tag, but I'm pretty sure that that is you. And so your question was, what is the strategy for developing an overarching course made up of our various mini lessons for the broader course? Like our clicking on the read more like our denouement versus selling each mini lesson separately, like selling stolen car scraps instead of the whole thing. Okay, so the question being that developing an overarching course made up of various mini lessons versus selling mini lessons. That's a good question. And so strategically thinking, unfortunately, like so many questions, there isn't a right answer. There's going to be a right answer for your bigger picture goals. If you look at kind of a typical funnel, if you will, and the funnel being how somebody enters your ecosystem and then you monetize their existence in your ecosystem. So if you look at a typical funnel, there is some sort of an entry point that is usually free and there can be many of those in various ways. But, you know, for us, our most common entry point is the book launchers.com forward slash, seven steps, the number seven steps. And that is a download to. To download a workbook that is seven steps to write a book that's set up to sell. And so that's the common entry point. It's something free in exchange for your email address once you're in the ecosystem. And arguably there's content. So all these videos subscribing to the channel. If you have a community, you know, all those things can be kind of the entry point to your community. I prefer email list is kind of the, the entry point marker, if you will. And then once they're in the common practice, this isn't necessarily what I do at Book Launchers, but the common is that there's a lower cost item that you would be selling. So that could be a mini course, that could be templates, that could be worksheets, that can be a book. So this is one thing we do@self publishand succeed.com you can, you can buy a copy the book. You get a free digital version of my second book, the new brand. You, you get some other PDF documents as well to support you in your book journey. And so you get those. We do run ads to that page. So those are lower costs. So you could do a mini course, kind of anything under $100. And then the typical thing is that as soon as that first purchase happens, you're either driving them to a call to, you know, sell them consulting or a bigger package of some kind, or you have another upsell page where it's like, hey, you got this and maybe you want some more support or service or this course is the full version. So this only teaches you how to choose a chapter title, but this is going to actually help you write the entire book. So there's a way to funnel it. And I think that I don't know as though I would create a whole series of mini courses. You could, but selling them one by one is a lot of work. It's a lot of customer service. So my recommendation would be to create one or two smaller items, tripwire, low cost, entry point, whatever you want to call them, and then have it build up to the bigger back end thing that you're going to offer, whatever that might be, consulting service, product, et cetera. So hopefully that answers your question from a month ago. And I'll just. I see a few more people have joined in, so I'm just going to check the chat. Monica's written three books. Congratulations, that's fantastic. And Mike's here. You're not that late, Mike. We're really just getting rolling. And Efren's book, we're celebrating Efren's ebook launch today. The opposite is true. Angela dropped that link in the chat for people to check out. And Stella, you won the first prize. And Angela told you where to email her. So I think we're caught up. Susan's here too. Suzanne, great to have you here and just checking what else. And of course we've got Quizmaster China in the house here for the lottery. Of course. And speaking of the lottery, I'm going to share my screen again and we will do the first draw. So of course when you comment the day a video is released, you get entered to win our prizes. And so here we go heading back on over, sharing the entire screen because that's just easier for me. And here we go. So your names, if you have commented in the last two weeks on a video, you have been entered to win the prize for today. And teabody you've been entered to win. And for this particular one we're going to stick with our good old standard, our mug, which you guys, somebody stole my mug. I can't believe it. Unless it's hiding, but I don't see it. I think somebody took my mug when I wasn't here. So crazy. So my hashtag no boringbooks mug you get, you can win one. You can also choose from a journal or a copy of Self Publish and Succeed. And it is, I don't know if we still have the brown journals, Angela would know that. But we do have our oh so soft journal. So if you're teabody, I think you've won before and I feel like you're not in the US so you might be winning another journal or a copy of Self Publish and Succeed but email Angela@teamoklaunchers.com at and let her know that you've won and what you would like and where to send it. All very important details. All right, so heading back over. Oops, I don't want to answer your questions right now. Okay, so scrolling back, just see all these comments that I have not yet responded to you. I'm just going to find another question. This one says it's five years late, but I want to ask if I connect my social media to my website author page that will link to all my books, will Amazon stop showing my book to some people if visitors click wow click the book link on my website and are still not buying? Possibly. I mean if the so what, what this question is referring to is that when you have your book or sorry, whenever you're sharing your link to your Amazon page and people are landing on your book page but not buying, they're not converting and Amazon tracks conversions. That's what Amazon cares about is when somebody actually puts something in the cart and then clicks out. And so one of the things that video was old but I would suspect this is still very much True is one of the things I tell people is to not click, especially when your book first launches. Don't refresh every two minutes to see if you're a bestseller. Don't have your friends refreshing every two minutes to see if you're a bestseller. But because that's just clicks without conversions, and you want conversions, you want to send Amazon steady traffic that converts so that Amazon identifies the traffic that's converting and shows your book to more traffic like it. And so I think the answer to this person's question is that in general, it's okay to send them to the Amazon page from your website, especially if it's like a little promo for your book. People click over, you know, and hopefully are interested in buying it at that point. The thing about doing that from your own website, and totally fine, most people do it. But the thing to remember is that you still want to have a call to action on your website to try to get that email address from that visitor. Because somebody visiting your website going, oh, this book looks cool, and leaving, going to Amazon, chances are you're never going to get their contact information. Amazon sure is heck not going to share it with you. And chances are, even after they read your book, even if you have some good calls to action in your book, you may not get it. So the focus, at least the first half of your website, you probably want to focus on getting that email address and then focus on selling the book. And hopefully they're interested in. In both, and that would be great. Okay. And the journals are black right now instead of that camel color. The camel version has been out of stock for ages, which is what I thought. So the black is lovely as well. And the more formats you offer your book in, the better. And that is absolutely true. And just looking at all the other questions, my book launches. Oh, so soft. Is almost full. So Mike's here waiting for his next journal, I think. All right, so, friends, you guys know my next book is coming out October 3rd, and actually, isn't that funny? I had it here for you just a minute ago. Maybe it disappeared with my mug. I had printed a copy of the new book cover for you to show you. I can put it up on the screen. But isn't that funny? I mean, Angela knows this already. I am not a queen of organization. But that is really funny. I literally had it here just minutes ago. Okay, somebody is playing tricks on me today, you guys, So I might just have to bring it up on the screen and show you the COVID because I want to show you it's Self Promote and Succeed. It is the follow up to Self Publish and Succeed and it is launching October 3rd. We don't have pre sale links up yet. There's nothing, Nothing to buy. Nothing yet. My next live stream I will be sharing with you how to join my book army. So and it's only going to be my YouTube friends, my YouTube besties. I'm looking for people to get advanced copies and be ready to post reviews the week of launch. And so that will be just for you, my dear friends. And we'll send it to our clients as well at Book Launchers. But we're not going to send it out to our entire email list. I am just inviting those of you here at Book Launchers TV as well as our Book Launchers clients to preview the arc and Mike's like, we will buy it. Don't think we won't. Well, that's great because you're going to be able to buy it for 99 cents for about a 10 day period before I kind of start announcing it to the rest of the world. You'll be able to buy it for 99 cents so that when you do review it, it will show up as a verified review. So this is, this is how I'm going to do my launch. I'm not doing a 99 cent ebook launch. It's going to be 99 cents for you, my dear besties and my and our clients so that when you do post a review, it'll show up as a verified review, but we'll also send you the arc copies in whatever format you would like. Of course, post launch you can get a print copy too. So we'll hook you up and so I'll have all of that for you when we come back here again in two weeks. And I'm still laughing at the missing mug and the missing book cover picture. I thought I was. So it looked so good printed too. You know what I'm wondering if I threw it out. Oh my gosh. Okay. It's just a glimpse into what Angela deals with every day. You know, you already probably think Angela is awesome and then you see me in action and you realize that she is the reason I am organized at all. Okay, so I'm going to share my screen again and I'm going to bring up a copy of the COVID Bill's in for a reviewer. So fantastic. I love it. Thank you. I am so excited and moment. I just have to bring up the file here because I had printed it for you and here it is. Are you Guys excited. Are you excited to see this? Yes. I hope you are, because I'm excited to show you. So here we go. Presenting. And I'm going to do it this way so then I can see what's on my screen. Okay, There it is. Ta da. There it is. Self Promote and succeed coming October 3rd, 2023. Okay, so that is the book cover to Follow Self Publish and Succeed. This is a little bit of a bigger book than my normal book, but I am very excited to share it with all of you because it's going to give you a ton of support on marketing your book. All right, so, Angela, do we have Mike? That's. That's good. Mike's been paying attention. Has Jax been playing tricks on you again? Missing bits and pieces? Yeah. I would blame it on my son. That's who Jax is. But I'm at my office and he hasn't been here in quite some time. I'm not at home, so. Okay, so, Angela, what questions do we have? I will go back to my. To the other questions that I have that I'm catching up on, but if you want to post one, I'll answer here. So the next question I had was from user ho5j.q4cy2n. How do I change the price of my book if the actual price is printed on the ISBN barcode of the back of my book? And this is a great question, and this is part of the reason why I typically don't put the price on the barcode. So what they're talking about, and I'm just grabbing a random book here, is, is this at the back right here. So you can see that Reni has 1699 on the back of her book. And so a lot of bookstores prefer you to have the price. Some people say bookstores won't carry it if the price is not on the ISBN, but that is not true. It might be a barrier. Might be a barrier, but I don't know if it is. So I typically don't put a price on the ISBN just for the reason that if you change the price later on, you have to change your cover file in order to do it. And so you just need a new ISBN code, barcode and number. And you're not changing the ISBN, you're just changing the code, the barcode with that number on it. But it does, it does add something to it. So if you're not pursuing widespread bookstore distribution, I wouldn't put the price on your ISBM barcode so that you can avoid that. Okay. And Angela, Said first question from Stella Golf. How can Amazon show zero sales on my report and is asking me send them order information of all purchases? Huh. Sounds like they had a glitch, which isn't that surprising. I don't know the answer, Stella, because there's a lot of funky things that happen behind the scenes. You know, One of my big pet peeves with Amazon is that it will show on your Amazon ad report. It'll show, say, you know, eight at eight books sold through ads. And yet that month it'll show six units sold. So your sales report shows six, but your ad report shows eight. Or vice versa. Well, vice versa. You can kind of explain that two were sold not through ads. But it is. There's lots of glitches. And yes, it can be attributed to inventory. Inventory and other things. But that is strange. I haven't heard that before. Especially them asking you to send order information of purchases. That's very strange. So, unfortunately, I don't have a good answer for you. It's a very, very interesting situation. Okay, checking my questions from historical stuff, too. Let's just see. I have people making fun of me. That's okay. Here, I'll bring it up on the screen so you guys can see that people are making fun of me as well. That's okay. I have. I have broad shoulders and thick skin. So this might look a little weird, actually. If I do it this way. I was going to share entire screen, but if I do that. Let me see. I know what I'll do. I've got a solution to this. One moment. Okay, let me open this in a new screen in a new. Okay, and while that's going on, while that's loading. And oh yeah, Angela made a good point. She said I'd make sure it's not a spam email asking for people shipping or personal information. So, yeah, I jumped and I'm glad you clarified, Angela, because I jumped to the assumption that you were contacting support, asking questions, and this was in a support dialogue. If you ever receive a random email from Amazon asking for anything other than warning notices, right. If they're warning you that your account is going to be shut down or it's going to be suspended, take that seriously and check the email address that it came from. But if you're getting something that says Amazon's wanting you to submit XYZ information to them, I would pay very close attention to that because it could very well be a spam. Amazon's not proactive in trying to make sure things are right. So if Amazon's seeking information from you. That is very odd. So I'm glad that you flagged that Ashla, because that is very strange. Now that you say that. Okay, I'm having trouble so I'm just going to go back to my original view with this because it doesn't want to share. So I'm just going to go over here and go back here and present. So let's do it this way. And comments. Okay. Oh, it's not sharing screen now, is it? Okay, here it goes. Okay, so there. Now hopefully you're seeing the comments again. How much does Bowker charge for a barcode? Don't buy a barcode from Bowker. You do not need to buy a barcode. So bowker or Bowker I don't know how to pronounce is where you will get your ISBN from. So it's my identifiers.com I believe is the URL for that. And you, you buy if you're American or you're in the U.S. you buy your barcode. Your, pardon me, you buy your ISBN from them. And, and that's this video right here. Everything authors need to know about ISBNs. And what I, what I tell people is do not buy your barcode from them. You do not need to pay for your barcode. There are plenty of ways, including your cover designer, you know the various tools like Draft 2 Digital I'm pretty sure has a free barcode creator. There's plenty of places to create a free barcode. I think Kindlepreneur has it on their website. There's a lot of really very good sources for a free barcode. So do not pay them for a barcode. But you have to buy your ISBN. But you don't have to pay for a barcode. And this person is in, in in spirit in truth is asking if we can help publish your first book. If your book is nonfiction and you have bigger picture goals, like you want to be a speaker, you want to get be known as a thought leader. You have a business behind this book. You know it's a, some people do it just for legacy, but generally speaking book launchers is best. If you have a bigger picture goal for your book and it's nonfiction, you know, it doesn't mean that's the only thing, but that's, that's who we are. The best fit to help. We aren't a publisher, we're self publishing services. And Judith, can you tell us where to buy your book? The seven steps to write a book and that is in fact Free. And you get it when you go to book launchers.com 7Steps and so you don't have to buy it. Okay, let's see. I'm going to. I have witnesses. Okay. It says this is from Sonia Bennett. A good story will reap the rewards. I started writing regarding my story. Would be great to work with someone who truly would be interested in my story. It's a paranormal story. I have witnesses, photos and reports from the fire department. I have already had people say they would be the first to buy the book. Anyone interested? And this is always interesting. I get a lot of people looking for someone to write their story for them, but they don't really want to pay the writer. Now, in audiobooks, there are rev share agreements. You know, find a way voices facilitates you to have in a, you know, 50, 50. Or they'll. Sometimes they do where they'll. They'll actually do your audiobook and then you, you know, the. The narrator takes your royalties or cut of the royalties for a period of time or you split it 50, 50. There's. There's a variety of arrangements in there for audiobooks. There probably are writers that do something similar for this, but it's. It's certainly not how our writers work. Our writers want to be paid for their. Their efforts and their work up front or at least as they hit milestones. So. But yeah, I mean, there could be people out there that would be interested in posting on various sites is one way to find them. All right, I got to stop sharing so I can see what you guys are talking about. But before, before I do that, I'm going to do my last draw from the people who have commented on the day a video is released. So here we go. Loading the results. And it's be line Bill. So I don't. I'm pretty sure Bill was here. And again, your handles are showing up so weird. So I don't know why you're showing up as Beeline Bill. I don't know. I'm just looking. Bill, you're here. See, I'm pretty sure that's you, Bill. And I don't know why it's showing us behind Bill, but that's how my handles are all showing up now. All right, so let's see. Next question. Angela, I will take another question. Well from you guys here. And while I'm waiting for that question, I'll go back here and just take a quick look and see if there's another question. More people asking about if we'll help them for free or share in the royalties. And somebody asked if we help with fiction and we don't help with fiction, we only do non fiction. And a lot of people commenting on a few of my old, old videos that the original, one of the original videos still gets a lot of comments. Okay, Angela, put question two from Renee. My book is 24000 words and 400 pictures. That's a very, very strong image book. Can it be an audiobook with that many pictures? Possibly. That's a really hard question to answer just based on those two facts. If I mean it really can the book stand alone without the images? And if the answer is yes, then I would wonder why you put 400 images in it. But you know, if it's more of a coffee table book, I don't know as though audio format would make sense for that. The what you can do is when you upload to ACX or these other platforms where they sell, where they sell your audiobook, they have the option to have a PDF download that corresponds with your book. The reality is, you know, as myself, as an audiobook listener, very, very rarely do I ever download anything corresponding to that audiobook. And I would feel a little frustrated I think, if the majority of the content was referenced as an image and wasn't in the book. So a little bit difficult to answer that without actually just looking at it and seeing what you've created. But I think the best kind of rule of thumb to use is would that content stand alone without being able to see the images. So hopefully that helps. Angela, if you want to just keep sending questions over here, I will focus on those for the most part because there's a lot of comments which is great on the channel. There's a few questions, questions and, and I, I highlighted a few of them. But I can answer one that came in today while I'm waiting. There was a question from Walter Chamberlain that said that was asking about a clarification on how I define royalties. And, and it was an older video, so I'm more careful now to explain it as proceeds. So I do in some of my old videos, you know, I reference how book launchers you keep 100% of the royalties. And the reality is when you're a self published author, there are no royalties. It's proceeds from the sale. And so if you ever hear me referencing self publishing and royalties, it's just because that's what everybody in the industry calls it. But the real actual term is proceeds from the sale. Royalties is, is a payment you receive when somebody else has the rights to it, but you're getting payment from it. And so that's why royalties, when you self publish isn't the correct term. And so, yes, that can be confusing if you know that and you hear me referencing royalties as far as self publishing goes. So in our business, you keep all of the proceeds from anything sold. We're not in the middle at all. So when your book sells and the print cost is subtracted, the wholesale cost is subtracted, that net amount gets deposited directly, directly to your account. And that's why in the past, we've referenced it as 100 of the royalties, but really it's 100% of the proceeds. So thank you for your question. All right, so next question is from Efren. Should I remind my book army and Facebook friends to post a review today? On that note, should I just be patient because it takes time to read? Okay, so for context, efren's book is a. 6, 640 pages. I don't know the exact. The exact page number, but your book is not small, Efren. I suspect it will take a few days for people to read it and post a review. That said, I don't know how long. I don't know how long you've had ARC copies in the hands of your reviewers. It's. Oh, it's only 590 pages. Okay, sorry, sorry. I got that so wrong. So much smaller. Okay. Anyways, it is. I mean, I. When I was going through it at one point, I was sucked into the book. It has some phenomenal stories, and I love how you have brought people that people may have heard of, but you're telling stories that I hadn't heard. And, I mean, it's really, really great. And so, yes, remind them is. Is where I'm going with this. Yes, remind them and be patient. So I would definitely remind people because truly, how many people are going to read the book from start to finish before they post your review? And you can even say that. You can say, look, you can always edit your review later, but just post a review based on what you've read based on the COVID They can post a review on anything. But you do want to get reviews as soon as you possibly can. So I would nudge them. Now, I'm going to clarify because you said your. Well, you said Facebook friends, so you're not emphasizing friends per se. It's just contacts, so that's cool. I thought in my head, I was thinking family and friends, but. But yes, nudge them, encourage them, remind them. And, you know, because it is a large book. What I would say, and I would say this for any book really, is you can post a review at any point. You can always edit it when you finish reading and encourage people to just post a review early based on whatever they have read so far. And number four, Suzanne, how many pictures are typical to put in a nonfiction book? I mean, there isn't a typical answer because every book truly is different. And I mean, if I just grab some of the random books sitting on my desk, we've got Reni Cavallari's Head Trash. And I don't know how many images are in her book. So I'm just looking. She's got like those kind of images. She's got a few of those kind of things. Like I would call those graphics more than images. See, she's got those there, but I don't even see. I saw a chart go by. There's not a lot in this and this is a pretty substantial book. I don't know her words, I don't know her word count, but it's 328 pages. So it's a pretty substantial book. Let me grab a few other ones from back here. Pardon me for turning my back to you guys. So then we have Scott Clancy's developing Coaching leaders. And let's see, just to give you guys, there's a chart. So if you're asking about images in nonfiction book, you know, from our wild sample of two, we haven't seen any images. We've seen a few charts, a few graphs. So then we have Sean Hayes, YouTube bestie, the gray Choice and same thing, his book, very simple as far as the imagery inside of this. So the answer, I would say is a lot of images in a typical nonfiction book are not that common. I'm just looking at Monique Nugent's book Prescription for Admission and there's some really cool details inside of this book. Like how there's just lots. I just, I, I mean, I love them. I love all our books. This one has some cool details but very, very little imagery. So it's not that, I would say it's not that common. There are some books I don't, none that I grabbed that have some pictures. But the thing to keep in mind with images is that color doesn't convert well to, I mean, cost wise, color doesn't convert well in print because you're going to have to have a very expensive book. And I have one example here, actually, I think is Krista's book here yet? So this is Krista Woo Woo them to heck yes. Sorry for the glare. And she's got color inside, but this made it very expensive to print. Now she's a wedding photographer. But yeah, and I mean the other thing is this paper. This is, this is, I believe, an Ingram book. The paper didn't. Isn't as conducive to those images. So you really need like a nice glossy paper type versus the typical paper stock that a non fiction book gets printed on in with the print on demand. And so color images create a whole other complexity of cost, paper type, printing, you know, just all those factors. So having a lot of images in a nonfiction book for that reason can also be problematic. You have to look at what they look like in grayscale if you want to print them in grayscale to have it be more affordable. So it's a bit of a rabbit hole we probably should do. I'll see if somebody on my team can do a little bit more of an image, either deep dive or just have a more in depth video kind of talking through the pros and cons of including images inside of your book book. Because sometimes, you know, it really is true that an image can tell the entire story and at the same time it does add some complexity and challenge as far as the audiobook and all the other things we just mentioned. So. Question five, Efren. Do I send the Library of Congress my ebook upload now that it's available? By the way, I only have the arc to send for the ebook I bought myself. The logistics is what I'm not sure about. You know, I don't actually know the for sure answer to that. So yeah, I would, I mean, yes, I would say the ebook, you can submit that now that it's available. But yeah, coordinate, coordinate with my team on that, Efren, because I actually, I haven't submitted any of my own books to the Library of Congress, so I don't know the specifics of all of those details. My team has always kind of handled that piece for me and, and I'm not certain about the exact details for it. So yeah, just coordinate with my team. They'll make sure that you are doing what you need to do when you need to do it. And yes, Suzanne says you can give a link to your website for the images and, and that works. You know, I think that can work really well, especially in your print book. But I mean, again, how many people go there? So it's kind of the experience you're creating and how often you're kind of sending people away. From reading your book and what your ultimate goal is. Like, do you really want them to see your images or do you want them to read your book from start to finish and, you know, engage with you in some way afterwards? So that's why it's hard to answer without kind of understanding bigger picture goals. What your book is, why you need the images, what they're for, you know, that kind of thing. Because they do. They can really enhance the experience of a book, but they can also pose some real challenges. Okay, I don't see any other questions. I'm gonna. We need to do a prize for today's attendees and participants. So today's prize will be. Oh, Brent, you're here. Hello. Welcome. Let's see. I. Oh, I was gonna say I just held up your book, but I don't know I did. Oh, but I do have it here. I do have it here, Brent. Here we go. Now I have a stack of books all around me. Here is Brent Pullman's book Leaders. Look within. And let's see. Because we were showing interiors of books, Brent, just taking a look to see if you have any images in here. Doesn't look like you did images. Just a few little touches, imagery touches. Okay, cool. So let's do our prize for today. And. And we will give you the choice of mug journal or self publish and succeed. And. And Brian showed up just in time for the contest. Although, Brian, if I go with what I was gonna go with, it's gonna be tricky because you weren't here. So the question I'll do two, because I'm going to be fair to people like Brian who just showed up late. And. And also to people like Efren who can't win this question. So we said today is the book launch of a book. What was the title of that book? Okay, so that's why you can't win, Efren, because you know the answer. But because I'm going to be fair, we'll also do a random pick. So Angela, if you want to go back from Brian's actually from Mike saying, hi, Brian. Let's go back 15, because today is the 15th of August. Let's go back 15. And that person can be our other prize winner. So we'll have two prizes today. And there was another question. Yeah, you got to tell me the title. You got to tell me the title. I know it's Efren's book, but what is the title of Efren's book? It's not Self promote and Succeed. That's mine. And that's coming out in October. Today is the ebook launch of Efren's book. Okay, Brent, I'm going to record and roll out an audible version of my book published this past May. Is a kickoff event appropriate? I'm leaning towards setting up one. I mean, yeah, heck yeah, let's. I think it's worth celebrating when your audiobook comes out. It's not the same thing as a book launch. It is not easy to create momentum around an audiobook launch alone, but it's worth celebrating. So you can do a virtual launch. You can do audiobook giveaways. You know, you in your morning, you know, when you're out for your morning run and you do your social media video, you can, you know, you can mention that your audiobook is coming out that day or whatever you want to do. So, yes, I would absolutely do a bit of a kickoff. You could even have a party, like a virtual or in person launch party celebration. Any. Anything that you can do to draw attention back to your book. People may not buy the audiobook, but they'll go, oh, I never bought. I meant to buy a copy of Leaders look within and I didn't pick it up. So they might head to wherever they buy books and grab a copy of your book. So absolutely, you could. You can't really do. You can't do Audible sales, but you can do discounts through other platforms. So you could do a little bit of a special when you launch if you're not launching just with Audible. So long answer to say yes, absolutely. It is another reason to talk about your book. And that is a good thing. You have to keep talking about your book over and over again. That's why even though most all of you here today have copies of Self Publish and Succeed, but there's many people who will watch this video later who don't have a copy yet. So they now know that they need to subscribe to the channel and enter or comment the day a video is released so they can get entered to win a copy of Self Publish and Succeed and soon Self Promote and succeed. Okay, so drumroll. Efren's waiting. We're close, we're close, we're close. People have the memory of a goldfish tonight. And. And Efren's comment was 14, 15 and 16 and 17. Was Mike hurt? Well, Mike was here for a new journal, so we can send Mike a new journal. No problem there. And. And there we go. We now have a winner in Bill again. And we already did. You already win Bill. I feel like you already won, maybe you didn't. Angela will be able to tell me who the winners are. But congratulations. The answer to today's skill testing question is the Opposite is True. We are celebrating Efren's ebook launch and the Opposite is True is the title and Bill has it on his screen on Amazon so he had an easier way to answer. All right friends, is there any other questions that I can answer to support you today? If not, I think when we come back in two weeks, I'm going to be focused on self promote and succeed. So I'll be inviting you to the Book Army. I'll be sharing some snippets from the book and it will be. I don't know if it'll be on pre launch yet. I didn't look at the calendar, but I would assume that it is because two weeks from now we will be about four and a bit weeks out from launch. So I would assume the pre sale will be ready to go and my 99 cents will be there for you. So it'll be a just for you guys, 99 cent. And we'll get you on the book army and we'll have a special celebration. And of course if you were here around the book launchers TV community for self publish and succeeds launch, what we did was we had after you posted your review, you sent an email into us and we invited you to our reviewer party where we had prizes, lots and lots of prizes. So we want to celebrate everyone that posts a review. So once, once that happens, that's kind of the procedure that will go on in two weeks. So that will be happening right back here, same place, same good time, two weeks from now. And it will essentially be my book army kickoff for all of you friends. And Bill says, I thought Stella won first. I don't know, Angela is or. Okay, yeah, Angela. Angela's got it organized. So. Teamoklaunchers.com Stella did win. Bill, I believe you were the winner from my random name picker from commenting from Tuesday, the Tuesday and Friday comments. So that's where you won. There's been so many prizes, but that's why Angela's here, to keep it all straight. So thank you everyone for being here and we'll see you back here in two weeks. And remember, self publish and Succeed Live in is starting September 11th. So check that out if you're interested in working with me and my team to draft your first book by the end of the year. That's our 12 week course where we have a lot of fun and you get to meet some other cool people and draft your book. So self publish and succeed.com forward slash, live class. All right. Thanks, friends. See you here in two weeks. And thank you, Angela, for all your help and support today.
