A book isn't the only thing you're going to get from all the time, effort and money you invest into creating your book, baby. If you are a savvy content marketer, you'll take that book material and use it over and over to grow your business for the next 12 to 24 months. Stick around and I'll explain. Hey there. I'm Julie the Book Broad, founder of Book Launchers, a fantastic company that helps entrepreneurs and professionals write, publish and sell a nonfiction book that will grow their business and build their brand. If you're creating a great book, you've spent hours and hours figuring out how to explain the important concepts in your profession or your business. You've probably developed clever ways to entertain and engage your audience with stories acronyms. You've probably paid writing coaches, editors, or other professionals to help you dig deep learning and develop meaningful content. The good news is that all of that can be used in many different ways to help you further build your brand, promote your book, and boost your business. And generally, it will also give your audience the feeling that you're everywhere with amazing material. Before I tell you my ideas, please pause the video and post your ideas for repurposing your book content below in the comments, and then we can compare answers. So let's get to it. I've got 15 ways to repurpose your book content. Number one go through your book and find sections that are fun 500 to 1000 words that can stand alone. These are articles that you can publish on your website or in other people's websites or even magazines. Make a note of those. Number two these same articles are perfect for shooting videos on each of those subjects as well. Number three choose two or three larger sections of your book, or possibly a chapter of your book, and turn it into presentations you give in a webinar or on stage. Number four those same sections could become podcast episodes if you're a podcaster. Number five Find paragraphs with sentences. Simple tips. These can be Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram posts. Just add a picture. Number six find spots where you have questions that the reader should ask themselves. Could they become worksheets or even a workbook? Then you do a download here. Number seven these same questions. They could become the subject for live stream videos you do on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, or Twitch, or all of them if you're simulcasting. Number eight Any resource book or person you recommend in the book could be pulled out to become a resource sheet, which would also be another download here. Value add Number nine Shorter quotes in your book can become tweets. I'm on Twitter by the way. Hejuliebrod if you want to find me. Number 10 shorter quotes can be taken and put on some cool graphics and turned into social media posts you use wherever you lurk or linger. For me, that would probably be Instagram, but it will work for you in all of the places you post. And if you're not sure how to change the sizing of the images, canva.com is a great resource. Number 11 take your best lessons from your book and turn them into a seven slideshare presentation. Some popular slideshare presentations get millions of views, so you never know. Number 12 if you have statistics or graphics in your book, those can be turned into infographics that is a highly shareable content or download idea. Number 13 I'm going to stop using fingers with my hands because it's getting hard. Use pieces of your book content in your email newsletter. Number 14 this is my favorite. Turn your entire book into a course, add to the content, shoot some videos, create some worksheets, and voila. You have the start of an awesome course that will generate generate hundreds of dollars per sale instead of hundreds of pennies. Not that I don't love pennies, but I love dollars way more. Number 15 and finally, in the future, your entire book can become a lead magnet for your business or a download add on when someone buys your next book. These are all really great ways to promote your book, generate leads for your business, and stay in front of your audience, all the while adding value to others. And if you're thinking my audience is going to get tired of hearing the same thing over and over and over again. Have you ever seen Gary Vee? Okay, I'm kind of, but I'm not really, because he repeats the same message over and over with only a few variations and he has a massive fan base. But really, I think if you have great content that you've worked hard to develop, a few people may see the repeat of the material, but most of the time there's not going to be a big overlap or they won't mind having a reminder of your great ideas or great tips or tools. So take advantage of all the work you've put into the book and repurpose it over and over again. What other ideas do you have? Let's discuss below in the comments.
