This YouTube testimonial features Jason Brown (author of Five Year Millionaire) describing his experience working with Book Launchers and Julie Broad to publish his book. He explains that personal coaching, mapped process, deadlines, and accountability were decisive in completing the manuscript; the book raised his credibility and opened media opportunities (Fox 2 Detroit and the SWAB Financial Network at the New York Stock Exchange); and Book Launchers provided sympathetic support during his mother’s passing, which he acknowledged in the book dedication. He recommends Book Launchers because of their caring, experienced leadership (Julie Broad is a published author).

I knew Book Launchers was right for me when Julie took the time to spend time with me, walk me through the process, walk me through price, and I just felt comfortable with the process, with the people, how patient they were with me. And so I was like, this is the company. Jason Brown, five year millionaire. When I think about life before writing a book, it was being on the other side of not being an author. Do I have an interest in enough story to tell? Can I help people? Life before writing it was more of a curiosity. Could it be me? Life after writing a book, I'm like, why wouldn't you write a book? I absolutely can do this. I absolutely had a story to tell. There's some level of credibility, interest, respect that comes with being an author. That's a unique thing that happens for me. I got into a lot of television and media appearances that I don't believe would have been possible without the book. I do a weekly segment every other Wednesday on Fox 2 Detroit and then I also do every other Thursday a segment at the New York Stock Exchange on the SWAB Financial Network. Between the PR and marketing and getting those opportunities, the book was like the gateway to open those doors. So those are some cool things that have happened since launching the book. The benefit of Book Launchers, for me personally, I think is important to know yourself. When you have a coach, when you have deadlines, you have somebody pushing you, you have stuff that's due, it just really helps you get to the finish line. That's what Book Launchers did for me. Having the process completely mapped out and more importantly for me, having that accountability helped me get it to the finish line. My mother passed away while I was writing the book. That moment you're like, I should take a break. I knew it's like, if I take a break, it's going to be that excuse to not finish it. Life's going to happen. We go finish respectfully and they're there to help you. We got it done, we brought it to market and then I wrote the dedication to my mom, so it all worked out. Book Launchers was very sympathetic or just easy to walk with me through that emotional process. I'm glad that I had the resources, the conversations to feel comfortable. So that's when I knew Book Launchers was right for me. I'm excited about what the book will continue to do for my business and brand. My affiliation with the New York Stock Exchange and being in the financial space is just huge for my brand to be tied to the swap brand and be tied to a kid from Detroit who is now access to the New York Stock Exchange twice a month to shoot from the actual floor. And someone wants to hear my opinion, my thoughts on stocks and options, that's just huge. I'm only like three, four months out and all that's happened. I recommend book launchers because they care. I think they can help someone else who's thinking about going through the process. I also like that Julie wrote a couple books. You know, it's real nice to do business with a company where the owner is a published author and not something she just read about, was a good business model and, like, thought she'd be great at marketing it. But the fact that she has a couple books, she has the audio book, she continues to release books. Being in business with a company that the owner walks the walk and talks to talk, I think is just super important.
