You already know it's one of the most important things you can do to set your book up for success. But it's also one of the most challenging. So what can you, a humble, shy author, do to get more Amazon reviews for your book? If you're wondering or struggling with this, then this video is for you. Hey there. I'm Julie, the book prod from Book Launchers. We're your professional self publishing team helping you write, publish and promote a nonfiction book that will help you have a huge impact on your readers. And done right will help you grow your brand, build your business, and make you money. The best part? You yes, you keep all rights. Your intellectual property stays with you and all royalties. Amazon reviews. They are the lifeblood of an author's success in many cases. And yet it can be a really uphill ottle. I need hiking sticks. And yet it can be a really uphill journey to get more than a few. Well, today I'm going to give you my number one secret for getting Amazon reviews. Here it is. You have to ask for them. I know you don't want to be pushy or aggressive. It feels demanding. Making the ask for the first, second, third, or fourth time also feels salesy or to some people, icky. You may feel like that email you're writing to ask for reviews is spam. And who wants to be spam? You'd rather be focused on writing. If you're done writing your book and you're writing your next book, well, hello, Wouldn't it be a good idea to get that first book selling so your second book is set up for more success? I know you feel like you're too busy. Well, you have put in the work, the time, the money, the blood, the sweat, and maybe even a few tears to bring this book into existence. You have earned the right to go to people and say, this is my job and this is part of what I'm doing and part of who I am and I can't be the best version of myself without your help. So will you help me by writing an Amazon review for me? If you followed our noboringbooksprocess and you've invested in creating a great book, you should be proud of your book. And because you're proud, you should also be proud to ask for support in this. Plus, here's the thing. You wrote your book to have an impact, didn't you? You want to share your knowledge or impart your story to have an impact. You want to give tips to others so they don't have to experience the pain you experienced learning those tips. Writing a book to help others who are coming along a similar path as you is generous, noble, and you need to look at reviews as something you need to do for them, not for you. So ask for your reviews, not for you, but for the reader that needs to know your book is worth reading. Ask for reviews because you know that that reader. You ask for reviews because you know that reader that needs you won't be impacted without having those reviews. Right after you smash that thumbs up button and leave a comment, go on. Ask 10 more people for reviews and then follow up with the last 10 you asked. Your reader needs you to do this. Oh, and when you comment the day a video is released, you'll be entered to win some sweet noboringbook swag.
