In this testimonial, bestselling author Judi (Judy) Holler shares her experience working with the publishing support firm Book Launchers. She emphasizes the trust, accountability, and expertise they provided, describing them as a "book doula" and spiritual advisor who helped her navigate the challenges of self‑publishing. Holler explains that she wrote her second book, Holler at Your Dreams: Dangerously Inspiring Ideas for the Wildly Dope Soul, during a period of personal disconnection and used the writing process as a journey of self‑discovery. With Book Launchers’ guidance, the book launched as a USA Today bestseller, debuting at #45 and later ranking #95, earning her a printed accolade and significant media exposure. The bestseller status dramatically boosted her keynote speaking career, allowing her to command higher fees and opening new doors, which she describes as the ultimate business card. The number one benefit I experienced in working with Book Launchers was not having to do it alone. To have someone in integrity and with such experience, a level of experience that makes you feel instant trust. I knew I could trust them. I knew they weren't gonna let me fail. And I knew anytime we encountered a challenge, I had a trusted advisor by my side to help me fix it. Trust. Accountability, and someone who really knows what they're doing. They know the business. My name is Judy Haller, and I wrote a book called Holler at Your Dreams: Dangerously Inspiring Ideas for the Wildly Dope Soul. So life before I wrote my book was as a very busy keynote speaker and traveling the world, sort of talking about the ideas in my first book, my book called Fear Is My Homeboy, really helping people figure out how to fear their fear less. And somewhere along the way of building this big speaking career and this business and sort of adventuring out into entrepreneurship, I sort of lost myself. It got really noisy. I started getting really disconnected from intention and soul and source. And so when a lot of people ask me like, what inspired you to write the book? I literally wrote Holler at Your Dreams because I was so uninspired and I needed to go on a journey of self-discovery to get reinspired. So the benefits of working with Book Launchers was really having a partner that kept me on time, held me accountable, but also sort of became like a book doula. They were not only a book advisor, but they really became, and very quickly, like a spiritual advisor to me because it is not for the faint of heart putting a book out there in the world. And you really need people who understand the business but hold the vision that you hold for your book and take it as seriously as you take it from a creative and sort of intuitive perspective. Like, your book means a lot to you. And the greatest part about it is that the problems that happened with my book artistically, maybe I wouldn't get a specific hex color or my margins were off or I had to reduce a page or whatever it may have been, perceived problem ended up turning into like one of the greatest gifts. So anytime we hit a mistake, they were there to really turn it into a beautiful gift and I didn't have to go through that process alone. So I was really in collaboration and in community with someone who held the vision for my book and was just as excited about it as I am. So launching Holler at Your Dreams and putting this book out into the world became an instant USA Today bestseller. We hit number 45 on the list our first week, and I think we were number 95 the second week. We're on these— we were printed in the paper, which was so exciting. And we have this beautiful accolade that I'll have for the rest of my life. What that's done for my career as a keynote as a speaker is it's really helped me open some doors and catch some attention when I'm going out and pitching and prospecting myself as a professional speaker. I think being an Amazon bestseller is incredible, and proud to say I've hit that category as well with both of the books I've produced. But to hit a national best-selling list puts you in a different category from a performance standpoint, from the fee you can command as a professional speaker. That's how I make my living, and I think it's really one of the best business cards. Writing a book is one of the best business cards you could really have on the planet. It's been a massive door opener and created a lot of opportunities for me. I would recommend Book Launchers because they're pros. You're going to have a team that is there to support you, guide you, mentor you, book doula you, and get it done on time. And just with such integrity, you would bring them on because you can trust them. People that understand the book business, but most specifically what it looks like to self-publish today and how to do that on your own terms. And you can do that on your own terms with the right team by your side and do incredible things like getting yourself on a national bestseller list as well. So they're an incredible partner, full of integrity and trust, and you don't have to do it alone.
