Brothers Daniel and Josh Bourke built Nutrify, an app that teaches people about whole foods using phone cameras and AI. It's hit 3,100 downloads and 300 accounts organically while they work part-time, and they're now building Android and iPad versions for schools.
Hello, I'm Daniel Bourke.
Hello, I'm Josh Bourke. We're the co-founders of Nutrify. We're brothers and we live in Brisbane, Australia. What's Nutrify? It's a fun interactive way to learn about whole foods using Apple's Vision framework and on-device machine learning. Where do we want to take Nutrify? We want it to be the Duolingo but for food. So if you want to learn about food, you got to go to Nutrify. What have we done since last batch? 3,100 downloads worldwide and also 300 accounts have been created.
Yeah, so we've made lots of progress since the last batch application with both of us working part-time and purely organic growth. So we've had a lot of great traction. With this batch, we'd like to build out the Android version of Nutrify because we've had a lot of interest there, and we'd also like to build out the iPad version, or continue building it out because we've already got one ready, so that we can integrate it into the school curriculums to teach the younger generations about food.
