Hey there, it's Brad Costanzo and I'm back with a short episode of Bacon Wrap Business. I'll call this Bacon Bits because it's, you know, bite sized chunks. So I was sitting here looking through my Kindle app on my iPhone and I thought, you know, this would be kind of cool. I get questions all the time about what I'm reading and I figured I would just share what I'm reading either right now or recently. A handful of the books in my Kindle. I probably got a hundred or more books in here, maybe a couple hundred. And I refer to them back and forth all the time. That's one of the things I love about the Kindle app is where I'm. Wherever I'm at, if, if I just kind of want to reread some of the highlights, I can open it up. Some of these books I'm reading concurrently, have you ever done that? Or you're reading multiple at the same time? And some of them, I've just brought them up to the top because I've re referenced them. But I'm just going to read a handful of the ones that are kind of big on my list and let you know my thoughts about them. Actually, I'll just kind of rattle them off with a little thing and you can go check them out on your own. But if you like the way I think, if you listen to the show, maybe you do. And if you want to read what I read, figure I'd give you a chance here. So let's get going. The Culture Code. Amazing book. Just started reading this. I'm about halfway through. Cannot recommend it highly enough. I'm not going to go into what it's all about. The one by Gary Keller that's really about finding that one thing that really drives you. Get big fast and do more good. Great book about the founders of Yes2Crrots and building a Brand from Scratch. Rocket Fuel by Gino Wickman. About the creating a business by using two different people. In your business, you've got to be the visionary and then somebody has to be the person who executes. And those two are usually diametrically opposed people. So if you've got a great idea man and you're not executing well, you don't have a business. And if you're just executing bad ideas, well, you don't have a business. So it kind of puts it all together. Trust me, I'm Lying by by Ryan Holiday is an oldie but a goodie. I recommend it to everybody. The Power of Glamour in life and marketing, etc. The lady had done a TED Talk and she did a great job. The book is amazing as well. Biology B U Y ology about why we buy the things we do. Very similar to the book Culture Code, although totally different approaches to it. The 12 week year by Brian P. Moran is a great book on planning the Millionaire Fast Lane. I read this years ago and I refer to it often as one of the better business books I've read in a very, very long time. I recommend it to everybody I'm reading or I've got. Yeah, the War of Art. Actually the War of Art. Do the work. Turning Pro Anything by Steven Pressfield is amazing and I recommend every single one of his books and another one of those artists just like that. I read everything he puts out is Seth Godin from the Icarus Deception. I just read the Diplomat. Poke the Box what to do when it's your turn and it's always your turn is a recent book of his. Get Everything Seth writes. One Simple Idea by Stephen Key is it was actually just re released and I interviewed Stephen on the podcast a while back. He's one of the most popular episodes I've had about licensing. Yeah, he's just updated the book, so I highly recommend you go get it. The wizard of Ads by Roy H. Williams. He's the proprietor of the Wizard Academy down in Austin. Big marketing and advertising genius. The Automatic Customer and Built to Sell by John Warlow. Two different books. The Best Investment is a Better your by Vinnie Fisher, former guest on the show. Essentialism by Greg McKeown. Really about stripping away all the other crap that's in your life. I'm reading a fiction book in here by Tom Robbins called Jitterbug Perfume. A really good book actually. I was recommended to it by Roy Williams. Anything by James Altucher. The Choose Yourself Guide Choose Yourself Choose Yourself Guide to Wealth. His wife Claudia Altucher's book the Idea Machine is great, non Obvious by Rohit Bhargava about spotting and capitalizing on trends. Former guest on the podcast Hal Elrod wrote the Miracle Morning about morning routines. I've still been sticking to it pretty closely. Recommend that Smart Cuts by Shane Snow is an amazing book. Abundance by Peter Diamandis Story Selling by Nick Nanton and his partner the Microscript Rules is a great book by Bill Schley. And it's if you're in marketing or advertising or especially copywriting, you're going to want this. Back of the Napkin by Dan Roam Mastermind Dinners by Jason Gaynord Flipping through here Ask by Ryan Levesque, also a former guest on the show Wall Street Journal best selling book. Really amazing. If you're doing anything with digital marketing, marketing really marketing at all. There are so many books as I scroll down through here that I would love to continue to just give you idea after idea after idea. But I want to take a break here and just ask what your favorite books are. I'll try to put a link to all these books in the show notes here, by the way, so if you want to go grab one, you can feel free. Every single one of the books I've recommended I recommend. Those aren't just ones I'm reading. I wouldn't recommend a piece of crap to you but. But I'm always looking for great books and the kind of books I like. Primarily nonfiction, but I do love a good fiction book. But don't give me fiction book recommendations necessarily. Send me ideas that a book that's either really opened your mind, twisted your thoughts, changed your life, made you a better person, given you some insight that you wouldn't have had. It's really well written and send them on to me. I'd love to get your feedback. Just send those to Ask Brad. You're actually telling Brad. But don't send it to Tell Brad. Send it to askbradaconwrappedbusiness.com youm can put it just in the subject book and tell me what your favorite book or books are. Or ask me any questions you want. Let me know what else you want covered on the show. But I hope you've enjoyed this short little Bacon Bits episode of what's in My Kindle? And I will talk to you guys really soon. Got a great episode coming up with Luke Havard releasing next week, so should be the one after this episode. All right, once more, send me those book recommendations to Ask Brad at baconrappedbusiness. Com. Love you guys and I'll see you next time.
