Welcome to the Common Sense Financial Podcast. A podcast all about finances, mindset and personal growth. The goal? Helping you make smart choices with your money in your home and in your business. And now your host, Brian Scriboney.
Hello everybody and welcome to the Common Sense Financial Podcast. My name is Brian Scribonia. I have been in the financial services business since 1993 and I've had actual face to face conversations with thousands of business owners, families and individuals helping them develop solutions for real life situations. And it's my goal with this podcast to bring these real life experiences to our audience and offer a way to think about these topics and how they actually apply to your situation. Today we're going to be discussing the topic of mortgages. It is an area that many people seem confused and honestly often ask a lot of questions. And one of the biggest questions I get is should I do a 15 year or a 30 year mortgage? And I'm just going to tell you right up front that I'm not going to discuss that specific topic today since I've already covered this in length in other podcasts. If you missed that discussion, you can check out my podcast titled Busting Common Myths and some of the others I did on Cash Flow where we did talk about mortgages.
Today.
It's my goal to really help reduce the mystery around mortgages and to do this I've asked Brandon Smith to join us who has been a great resource for me over the years, helping my clients with their mortgage needs. Brandon is the Branch Manager and Senior Loan Officer for New American Funding out in Clayton, Missouri. I thought I would bring Brandon in to help us shed some light on some of the most frequently asked questions to help us out a little bit. Hey Brandon, thanks for being here today. I really appreciate you taking time. I know you've been really busy with doing mortgages and handling this hot real estate market and opening up an office.
