This year I'm doing something special for Black Friday. For years people have been telling me that they're just sick of these huge savings from big box stores on nonsense products that are just going to gather dust in their closet. In fact, Business Insider says that the two of the top big deals last year were on socks and a blender. Imagine that. So this year I'm creating a new kind of Black Friday where you can build your own custom sale and save huge amounts on the life changing programs that will help you to turn 2021 into your very best year ever. To build your own Black Friday and check savings of up to 80% on my top selling my popular programs, click the link below. And now back to the video five.
Small Ways to show gratitude in your life Develop an attitude of gratitude and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step towards achieving something bigger and better than your current situation. Brian Tracy Gratitude should be an important and powerful part of our lives. Research has proven that showing gratitude makes us happier, strengthens our relationships, and even improves our physical health. But sometimes showing gratitude is easier said than done. How exactly can you incorporate this practice into your daily life? Well, here are five small but highly effective ways to show gratitude. First, be an active listener. One method for showing gratitude to the people in your life is to be an active listener. Showing someone that you're truly listening to what they have to say is a great method of nurturing important relationships. By paying attention when they speak, you're showing respect and directly communicating that you think their thoughts and opinions are important. You can be an active listener by setting aside any distractions, such as your smartphone or other conversations in the room and making eye contact with the other person as they speak. Another way to show gratitude is by learning how to accept constructive criticism. Show gratitude to the people in your life by being gracious when you're challenged. After all, if you're receiving constructive criticism, that means someone cares about you enough to make you better, and that's something to be grateful for. If someone approaches you with constructive criticism, don't immediately rush to defend yourself. Instead, thank them for the feedback. Then ask them more, what makes you say that? Or how can I do better? Are good questions to ask. Be gracious as you accept their criticism and then focus on ways you can improve. You can also show gratitude by paying it forward. The idea behind paying it forward is simple but incredibly important. When someone does something nice for you, you don't focus on repaying them directly. Instead, share the love by getting out of the way and doing something nice for someone else. So how can you pay it forward? The options are endless. Consider mentoring someone who could use the guidance purchasing food or new clothes for low income families in your community, or simply buying a coffee for the person behind you who's in line the fourth way is to thank the people in your life. Focus on showing gratitude to the important people in your life, including your mentors and coworkers. It's important to thank these people for the impact they've had on you. Without their help, you wouldn't be where you are today. Your gesture of thanks doesn't have to be big, just a simple but heartfelt thank you for everything you do can go a long way. It can also be nice to mention some specific actions or characteristics that you appreciate in the other person, such as thank you for teaching me the ropes when I started this job or thank you for always listening when I need to venture. As long as your thank you is genuine, it will be more than enough. Finally, number five when showing gratitude in your life, look back on your journey. Take some time to reflect, thinking about where you were 10 years ago, five years ago, or even one year ago. Where were you in your career? Your personal life? Your inner growth? Chances are, when you sit down and think about it, you'll realize that you've come a lot further than you thought. Be grateful for how far you've come and how much you've learned. You may want to make a list of the people, places and events that have aided your success and shaped you into the person you are today. Go down the list and pause at each item for a moment of gratitude. Reflecting on your journey is one of the best ways to help you realize just how much you have to be grateful for. These five tips can help you incorporate more gratitude into your life, and as you work towards being more grateful, your character will also improve.
