This is a YouTube video titled "Brian Tracy's Battle with Cancer" containing a conversation from February 24, 2011, involving Brian Tracy and others discussing his cancer diagnosis, treatment, and maintaining a positive attitude.
When I sat down, Brian looked me square in the eyes and said, cam, I don't want to beat around the bush. I want you to know that I've been diagnosed with cancer.
I never felt that he wouldn't beat the cancer. That thought never entered my mind. That being said, the treatment for the cancer was very harsh.
Now, you are used to taking on a challenge, worst case scenario, preparation, reading as much as possible. Let's take action. I'm going to get through this. It's a speed bump on the road of life.
Absolutely. A million people a year get cancer in the United States. 24,000 get throat cancer. I've done all the research, but most of them survive. So it's not a death sentence. And we have wonderful medical technology here and wonderful support, everything we could possibly need. So having cancer is a scary thing, but it doesn't need to be fatal. And if you can keep a positive attitude through it, it'll really help.
