Hello, I'm Brian Tracy and today I want to give you some tips on ebooks and self publishing. You know, I once self published an entire ebook in less than 24 hours. I noticed that self publishing was a developing trend in writing and I decided that I should learn how to publish an ebook myself. I read everything that I could find on the subject of publishing an ebook. I looked through websites upon websites searching for how to lay out an ebook, how to create an ebook file, and where to publish. I had a book that I had already written ready to go and I was able to self publish in less than a day. The process is quite simple once I learned how to do it. And you can learn how to do it as well. It's just like a recipe in the kitchen. You just follow the recipe and the book comes out the other end. Most writers could only dream about getting published or having their work available to anyone, but the advent of self publishing online has made all of this possible. Ebooks have been the answer for many writers as they allow anyone to publish their works regardless of the fan base. However, self publishing an ebook from start to finish can be overwhelming considering the fact that you have to write the content, make it professional, and generate enough buzz to make sure that the ebook gets sold. So, given the ground you'll have to cover for this process, I'm going to walk you through the steps of self publishing so that you can come across as a seasoned professional in the ebook marketplace. So before you embark on your journey to climb the New York Times Best Seller list, you're going to have to decide on the topic of your book. With the topic of your book being one of the sole factors on whether or not people decide to purchase it. Your ebook's life depends on the topic. Select something that's not only engaging, but something that your audience could find interesting or useful. In addition to this, and most importantly, make sure the topic is something that you are passionate about and would have no problem discussing at great length. Once you've discovered the topic that you would like to write about, the next step is to create an outline for the ebook. Since you want readers to keep turning pages until the end, you want to make sure you have enough content to not only fill your book, but keep the information or the story moving. Since most of this process starts with the beginning, it's important to understand that your ebook's introduction is what sucks in the reader and makes them want to read your work cover to cover. If you have an effective intro to your topic, the rest of the story should write itself. Some writers have even gone as far as writing their ebook in pieces and stitching the pieces together to make an interesting, coherent story. After you've discovered a topic and decided how you're going to stretch it for the length of the E book, you're going to have to write it. The most thrilling part about this process is that you are at the helm of who lives, who dies, or what, or information you decide on covering. Throughout the book, however, it's important to understand that you will need to write clearly and simply. Although utilizing sophisticated language may seem appealing, you don't want to lose your readers because they're busy trying to find definitions for the vocabulary that you're using. Writing effective copy is one of the most important factors that comes with the development of your ebook, which is usually an area where many fall flat. Your work wants to generate positive responses, not yawns. So now that you've successfully written your first ebook, it's time to design the COVID and any other visual assistance your ebook might need to tell your story. Visual tools can go a long way, whether it be formatting, font colors, or visual aids. Simple black and white text can prevent your story from moving along swiftly. Once you've made your ebook everything that you've ever wanted and more, it's time to dive into the more technical business aspects of selling your ebook. Create a landing page for your work that people cannot pass up, and make sure that your book is reaching appropriate audiences. A fictional ebook might not perform well if categorized with instructional ebooks, so make sure that this issue isn't going to hinder the performance of your work. Once you have this established, set up an analytics so that you can track the progress of your ebook. This way you will not only know the demographics of who is reading your work, but you'll know what to write about in your next novel. Finally, share your book with the world and pat yourself on the back. You've done something that many talk about but rarely take the initiative to pull off. Before we wrap up, I'd like to leave you with a thought to share with your friends and followers. Be a creator of circumstances rather than just a creature of circumstances. Be proactive rather than reactive. Now, I'd love to hear from you. So my question today is do you have a burning desire to write a book? What idea do you have that can change lives?
