Hello, my name is Brian Tracy. I get a lot of questions from my friends on social media and I've decided to answer some of them as we go along. Here's a question we received recently.
I want to become an entrepreneur. I'm working in a software company which is not my passion, but I can get adjusted to it. Becoming an entrepreneur is my passion, but I am the breadwinner of the family, which is why I can't quit my job and start a business of my own. Please let me know how to live my dreams.
Well, it's a wonderful question. And before you run, you have to walk. And before you walk, you have to crawl. If you want to be an entrepreneur, you must understand that entrepreneurship is finding a product or service that you can bring to the market at a lower cost than people are willing to pay. As a result, you make a profit when you sell the product. You then take the profits and you reinvest it into doing it over and over again. Most entrepreneurs start this way. It's called bootstrapping. Now where do you find a product or service? Well, there's all kinds of Internet sites where you can buy products and services and then resell them. One of the ways that many people start is in multi level marketing or network marketing where they sign up to sell a product. But the product must be something that you really like and that you use yourself and that you would sell to your mother or father. When you talk about passion, passion comes from loving your product and wanting other people to enjoy the benefits that you have enjoyed from the product. You can never be passionate selling something that you think is good for other people but not for yourself. And then what you do is you get started. Many of the most successful people in the world got started part time. They worked in the evenings and they worked on the weekends. If you put in two extra hours per day, five days a week, that's 10 hours out of 168 hours per week. That alone can start you into the world of entrepreneurship, give you the necessary experience at a low cost in time and money, and prepare you to even bigger things later. I hope that answer was helpful to you, and if it was, be sure to take action and take action now.
