Sometimes people ask me what my summer goals are. Well, you probably know that I am a goal setter. I set goals every single day. I plan every day in advance. I work steadily six days a week, not because I have to, but because I really enjoy it. Now in the summer, my main goals are, first of all to get caught up with all of my creative work. This summer alone, I have shot 84 new videos with workbooks for training courses that will be distributed all over the world. It takes an enormous number of hours to do the preparation and then many hours to do the shooting and then of course afterwards, the post production. So that's one of my goals, get caught up. But my main goal is something else. My main goal is always to write two books every summer. And I've already finished one book for this summer. And I'm starting this week on book number two. Two, I've got a proposal in for book number three. These are all for next year. And my system is very simple. What I do is I look around the world and I say, where is there a big need or problem or goal that people have or want that I could write a book that would help them solve? Someone once said that your book should either be a light, a lamp, a ladder or a lifeboat. So I try to think, what would be a great subject? The subject I just came up with now is called the power of self confidence. It's how do you develop unshakable self confidence? And that's the one I just finished. The next book I'm going to write, I think will be on Mastering the Powers of Change is how can you react flexibly, quickly, responsibly, so that you become a master of change rather than a victim of change. Because change is happening at such an incredible rate in our society today that we need handrails, mental handrails, to hold onto. And people ask me, how do you write so many books? Well, I write and publish four books each year. I have 55 books published in 40 languages in 60 countries. And I've developed a system. And my system is available on my website. But basically I determine the title and then I lay out the number of chapters and what would be in each chapter, and then I make a list of everything that would be in each chapter. And then I start writing chapter by chapter. And then I edit and re edit and so on. It's an incredible system that allows me and other people to write book after book after book. So if one of the things that you want to do in your life is to write a book, come to my website and get my system. It's the most amazing darn thing. And the final thing is this. Be productive in the summer. The summer is not a place like a child where you just lay around in the sun. Summer is a place where you're just productive in a different way.
