A short motivational clip by Brian Tracy advising people aiming to lose weight to track daily steps with a pedometer, set specific step goals (e.g., an extra 2,000 steps/day), and make small behavioral changes (walk to nearby destinations) to increase activity and reduce stress.

Hey, challengers. For those with weight loss goals, here's a question for you. Do you know how many steps you took today? How about yesterday? Go out and get a pedometer, this little gadget that sits on your waistband, and you'll begin immediately to motivate yourself to get out and walk more steps, and you'll eliminate stress. At the same time, set daily goals and track your progress for the number of steps that you want to walk. If your goal is to walk an extra 2,000 steps each day, then check periodically to see if you're on track to reach it. If you need more steps, then make a decision to walk to the closest store for lunch instead of driving to your favorite restaurant five miles away. You won't regret it.
