One of the things that managers underestimate, the role and the impact that they have is the connections they build with their employees. I think we can all look back and think about a manager that was key to our development and really made a big impact in our life, and maybe one that had a negative impact. So managers have this outsized impact in how employees feel about work, how they live their lives. That is a great responsibility. In order to fulfill that responsibility, managers need to make sure they're taking care of themselves and having their own motivation and feeling fulfilled in their own lives so that they can support their employees. How they support their employees and how their employees feel about work impacts all the other aspects of their lives. So it is a tremendous responsibility and opportunity.
