I was walking 'towards the door with a broken, tired heart. Thought the feeling was gone, like the night would last too long. Every love song felt like pain, every smile felt fake. I told myself I'd never feel that kind of love again. I was numb, I was lost, counting everything I lost. Then you showed up out of nowhere. Like a flash of light in the rain, you called my name, woke my heart, made me feel again. I was falling apart, now I'm whole. You pulled me back, you brought me home. I didn't think I'd love again, but here I am. Myself again. I forgot what hope felt like. Forgot how to believe in God. I feel less fulfilled now. I don't love the same way you'd have might. All the fear I used to hold started letting go. You didn't try to save me. You just loved me slow. I was stuck in yesterday till you looked my way and everything Love came back when I let go. I didn't think I'd love again. I am here, I am myself again.
