The US government is literally paying people to start businesses in 2026, and most entrepreneurs have no idea it exists. I'm talking about grants, tax credits, workforce reimbursements, low-interest loans, and strategies that can wipe out capital gains entirely if you structure things correctly. These are real, active programs. In the next 5 minutes, I will show you the biggest ones, how to find them, and why the government wants you to use them. The single biggest opportunity most entrepreneurs miss is state-level economic development incentives. Every state has them. Because states compete with each other to attract businesses, they offer tax credits, wage reimbursements, workforce training funds to companies that create jobs or invest locally. Texas has the Texas Enterprise Fund with direct cash grants for job creation. North Carolina reimburses you for training new hires. Georgia offers job tax credits in certain counties. Ohio has R&D incentives. We're talking about thousands, sometimes tens of thousands of dollars, and the requirements are not insane. You usually just need to be hiring, investing, or operating in a designated zone. Most owners never look, so the money goes to the handful who actually asked. Now before we go further, if you're starting or scaling a business and you want to know exactly what programs you qualify for, schedule a discovery call with me. The link is right below this video. An hour of our time and we will save you a lot of money on the back end. Now let me show you how you can find these yourself. Search your state name plus economic development incentives or your state's Department of Commerce business programs. Look for keywords like workforce training, job creation tax credits, and capital investment reimbursements. That's where the money's available. Now, one critical detail: most of these programs require that you apply before you hire or invest, not after. If you're planning to add employees next quarter or buy equipment, check here first. If you're going to do those things anyway, you might as well get paid for it. Now, let's talk about capital. The Small Business Administration backs loans that let you start, expand or acquire a business without giving up equity. SBA's 7 loans work— cover working capital, equipment, and acquisitions. The 504 loans cover real estate, long-term equipment. Because the government reduces the lender's risk, they'll offer better terms for you. And if you're building a C-Corp you plan to sell someday, learn about the letters QSBS— Qualified small business stock under Section 1202. Structure correctly, meet those criteria, and you might be able to exclude 100% of your federal tax gains when you sell your business, up to $10 million. Here's a quick one for almost every business. Normally you depreciate equipment, vehicles, and technology over several years. Section 179 lets you write off the full cost in just one year. And bonus depreciation accelerates that even more. So that $50,000 piece of equipment becomes a deduction in one year, and that improves your cash flow. This is not a loophole, it's tax policy. So why does any of this exist? Because small businesses create jobs, stabilize local economies, and keep competition alive. When you succeed, your community succeeds. Deeds, and the return on investment for the government is massive. But these incentives only work if you know about them, and most entrepreneurs never ask the right questions. So the programs are real, the money is real, you just need to know where to look and how to structure your business to qualify. Schedule a discovery call with us using the link below, and we will actually show you what you qualified for and what to do next.
