If your studio is like most I've seen, the weekends are kind of hectic and crazy and then you may have some slower days. Maybe Mondays and Tuesdays and Wednesdays might be your slow days or you close early. But what would it look like if you tried to make some adjustments to even out that ebb and flow of your guests to encourage guests on Saturday when you're really full to come on other days of the week when you're not quite so busy? I'm Donna Bordeaux with pyopaccounting.com and we work with studio owners every day to help them manage their operations and grow their business to where they want to be and have a great life while doing it and make a great living doing in studios with the busy times and seasonality. If we were to look at what we could do to manage that ebb and flow, what would we do? Well, what if it was cheaper to come in on a Tuesday than it is to come in on a Saturday? What if there a premium on Saturday? Now many people don't like the idea of having a premium, but they understand the benefits of having a discount. Now, as if you've heard me before, you know I'm not a big discount person when it comes to coupons and percents off and things like that, but I do like add ons. So what if Tuesday was buy one, get the second person at 25% off on your visit. Or if you're encouraging people to spend more with you in a slower time time rather than having your staff be overwhelmed with busyness on the weekends. Maybe you only offer that certain times of the year. Or maybe you have events during the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and that's your form of dynamic pricing. Dynamic pricing is simply when your supply is low, your price is high. That's Saturdays. When your supply is high, then your price goes down. That's your Monday, Tuesday day. So in implementing dynamic pricing, it doesn't have to be that you're changing the labels on the shelves for this item is $10 today, but $20 on Saturday. That's how airline pricing and hotel pricing works. But there are other ways you can implement it in your studio. Do you know anyone who is implementing a form of dynamic pricing or are you struggling with it and would like more information? Well, I'd love to be able to interview you and learn about your situation and do a future video on it. So post down in the comments or shoot me an email. Donna. Com and I'd love to hear your story and help you get on with dynamic pricing and growing your business.
