Hi, friends. Welcome back. This is part two of my most recent conversation with the wonderful Brooke Castillo. And in this part of the conversation, we start talking about setting and achieving really big goals or what we might think are really big goals. So Brooke, in the first few minutes of this, talks about her goal to have $100 million a year business. And she kind of shrugs like it's not going to be that hard. I just love the way that she thinks about this and the fact that she actively creates that reality. She doesn't observe reality and then guess about it. She creates the reality by believing that she's going to have a million dollar business and it's going to be fairly easy and fast.
And so I get pretty vulnerable here.
Where I break down some of my thought patterns and behaviors and have her go in and basically construct open head surgery and move some things around and help me see my own mental bs. And gosh, this is just so good.
And I personally got so much value out of this.
And so I hope that you can enjoy the same type of experience that I had by hearing it from my perspective. And as a result of this, I think you're going to see some of the things in your operating system that are leading you to create the results that you're getting. And if you would like to create a different reality, some different results, then the plan and the process looks like deciding what it is, believing it, and doing the work to clear out all of the objective objections, objections, all the objections that you have to believing that reality.
So.
So that you can start to observe all the reasons why it's true. I discovered after listening back on this that I pound on the table a lot while I'm talking, so I'm gonna stop doing that. And also Brooke makes several mentions of things sounding a little bit woo woo. So I'll be curious to hear your thoughts if you think this is a little bit too out there based on what we usually talk about. Once again, I don't think I've ever enjoyed a podcast so much. And it set a new standard for my expectations going into interviews here@capitalism.com all right, enjoy part two with Brooke Castillo.

Thank you so much for all your support over the years, all of your success stories, all of your hard work. This book is for you.
But here's what, here's what's interesting. So let's say you believe something like, okay, my business is going to make 20 million this year. Let's say that's your belief about your business, right? And you believe that and you choose to believe that. You're not gonna let anyone stop you from believing that. And then you go and you do something, you're like, oh, I'm gonna launch this product or I'm gonna do this thing and it totally fails, right? So then you get to the point where you can say, oh, I was wrong. I'm not going to make 20 million. Look at the facts, right? And then you give up on that belief system because you think, well, the truth is out there on the table, right? We're just looking at it. I no longer can give myself permission to believe that. That is the difference between me and everybody else who hasn't made $25 million is I never give up on the belief, no matter what the data set.
So would you just roll that in the next year?
Well, it depends on what month we're in. Do I still have time?
I mean, if it's in December, yeah. I mean, I would just roll it.
So in that scenario, does that not conflict with the idea of observation versus creation?
No, because now I'm observing it anew. Right.
Please keep talking.
Well, you tell me.
This is my favorite phrase with Brooke. Brooke, I need you to keep talking.
No, because now you're making with you.
Is like a constant cliffhanger. It's like, like speaking with you is like, like, it's like constant brain gas. You're so funny. Like, where, where, where's this go?
Like where? Well, that's but that's my whole point, right? It's like, if you've said, I'm going to make 20 million, let's say it's December, like, you're at the end and you've made 15, not 20, right? So then, bummer. So then at that point, you have a choice on what. What to think. And people think they don't have a choice there. They think they have to go, oh, I said I was gonna make 20, I only made 15, and I'm gonna make that mean something now. I wouldn't even bother with one thought about any of it ever. I would just be like, boom, where are we at? Where are we going?
You would never look back.
For what reason?
Yeah, you would never look back. And you would never change the belief that you have now based on the past.
Never. And I wouldn't make it mean that I shouldn't have believed something or that I was wrong.
So I was having a conversation today about why is it so easy to see other people's head trash and not your own? And the way I responded was, well, because with another person, you're not bringing any past data into now and future. I mean, how many times do we have conversations with our friends that are like, this is what I'm trying to do, and I don't know what to do next. You're like, well, just do this.
And they're like, what?
That's so simple. It can't be right.
It's so obvious. Yeah.
And I'm playing with the idea. Well, I don't have any of the past data or attachment to those old beliefs. And so I can see clearly. And what I'm kind of hearing you say is you're in that state most of the time where you're never looking at past data. You're looking at, what do I want now? What do I. Do I want now? What do I want moving forward?
Forward. It's even deeper than that. It's not even just past data.
It's.
It's choosing to believe what I want to believe in this moment and not thinking that there's some observ. Observable reality that I have to take into account to decide what I want to believe. And most of us don't understand that. Like, our observations are just thoughts and they're all optional. We think that we're. It's. It's like the world is insisting we think certain things. And that's why when people say, you need to be realistic, owning the Cleveland. Cleveland Indians is probably not in Your future. You need to be realistic about that. Look at the data.
And I just don't even hear it right.
You're like, what? Why would I look at data that would make me believe something that I don't? They're like, no, but these are the facts. This is what's true. It's like, no, there's no truth outside of what I'm choosing to believe. And that's how you create those things. And that's why for me, like that concept, being able to grasp that, which I think you can only grasp by really applying it and doing it, is I want to motivate more people to do that. And so the bigger results I can create, the more interested people are in listening to that. And so that's what makes me happy, man.
Uh huh. What's the next problem we should solve in the world?
Well, I think we should touch back on kind of why we wanted to have this podcast in the first place, which was, why do people think it's better there than here? Why? You know, I was just thinking about this with. There was like a post that someone sent me where I can't, I don't even know who it was. Someone was on their yacht, quarantining on their yacht, right? And I thought, oh, when I saw that, I'm like, genius, like not gonna get it there.
Right?
You're like safe. You're not, you're not gonna infect anyone. You're just like, I think I thought it was a genius. And like people were furious that someone was quarantining on their yacht. And they were so mad at these people and like, how dare you be like, in this luxurious, sunny situation when there's people dying and people suffering and we're in our houses that we don't even like and we can't leave the door, right? And I was like, oh, that is so fascinating. Because it's almost like because these people have yachts and because they're rich or whatever, they're not suffering at all. It was kind of the presupposition that.
I took from that, like, you're not allowed to talk about your money because it means you don't suffer like the rest of humanity. And I think people think that about getting money. I think that's why so many of us want to get it so quickly because we'll suffer lesser.
You said something to me that I thought was really interesting, which is that.
Rich people have the same.
I want to say issues, like the same thought patterns as when they were as existed, when they Were poor.
Right.
What did you mean by that?
Because you're the same person, the same human. Right. You have all of the same things. It's just. And this is true for.
Anybody that's listening to this can relate to this. Because when you were making 30,000, you're like, if I could just make 50. Right. And then you made 100. And you don't recognize that it's the same. You don't recognize that you're in the same thought pattern because the numbers have gotten bigger. But it's the exact same. Whatever is underlying it is always going to be there. People don't get rich and then just say, ah, done.
So not necessarily a thought pattern about money is the same. It's the.
Well, let's test it.
Okay.
Do you have thought patterns about money that you had before that you don't have now?
Yes.
Tell me one.
I can't sell a business. I can't build a business I can sell. I don't have that now.
You used to believe that.
Yeah.
What?
Yeah, I thought it was all about cash flow.
Okay, so what's your version of that thought now, though?
My version of which thought?
That thought I can't have. I can't build a business I can sell.
My version of it now is I can't build a company that changes the world.
So it didn't take very long for you what, to come up with the.
Version of the thought now. It's just different words, same thought. Right. I mean, it's coming from the same place. Right? That's what I mean. Like, we just change the words and the dollar signs and the numbers of zeros, but we're still creating our own doubt. That isn't. Because that's ridiculous to think that. Like, you can see that it was ridiculous for you see.
So I'm sorry to interrupt, but here's what just happened for me, okay. It was. If I believed that.
What observations could I make that support it? And I immediately found stuff.
Well, yeah.
And I actually felt like an internal shift was like, that's gone.
Yeah.
Like, immediately I was like, oh, right. I guess I could. It's just, which one do I choose? Yeah, immediately.
But that's the thing. It's like. And I still feel anxious a lot of the time. And I thought when I figured out my weight and figured out drinking and figured out money that I wouldn't have anxiety anymore. I'm like, oh, yep, still anxious, still worry, still have. All the same. Still me, still human, all the things. There's no outwitting that.
What does a bad day look like for you, Brooke?
I don't think that I have bad days because I think bad days are an observation and I choose never to think about it that way. But, like, there are days where I'm like, I'm like riddled with anxiety. Like, I wake up with a lot more anxiety than normal and it's rougher. Those days are rougher for me to like, I have to do a lot more coaching and a lot more breathing and a lot more walking and. But I also, those days used to, you know, when I had that much anxiety that would just like ruin my day. But now I'm just like, to me and anxiety through the day today. You know what I mean? We're just gonna go through it. I've made peace with not having a life that isn't 50.
You've made peace with that experience?
Well, and I was just saying this on my podcast. I'm like, you know, this human experience is clearly not supposed to be a vacation, right? I haven't met one person that's like, perfect childhood, amazing teenage years. Then I got married, Kids were easy. Then I got this great job, and now I'm making all this money. Like, you don't meet people. Like, they're like, I've had a human experience. It's like, okay, so when I made peace with that.
That'S when I started enjoying my life. It's almost when I accepted the pain of my life, I started having way better life. I'm like, oh, this is supposed to feel this way. Because I think a lot of times we stop moving forward because we think it should feel easy. Cause we look at someone else and they make it look easy. So we think it should feel easy to us. No, it doesn't. And that's no reason to stop doing it.
You drop so many bombs so quickly that sometimes I miss the three words at the end of the sentence.
I love you so much.
You're like, slow down. What are we talking about?
There's a large bomb that was just dropped.
What? What?
What are you talking about? So good.
I'm actually. I'm actually teary eyed because there's like a. There's, there's there's a relief in.
Letting your beliefs go and just choosing something else that feels better. And also, it's just. It's a beautiful thought that you can believe whatever you want.
And just find the observations to support the beliefs. And I have done that effortlessly in my life in the past. And something that I've been thinking about lately is when I was a kid, I never questioned that I was going to be rich.
Never.
I just chose that I wanted it and convinced myself and got data to support it by looking at other people and thought, well, that they did it. I can figure out how. And somewhere along the way.
Got, I think, so obsessed with the how that then I introduced the belief that I had to find the how first. And in our first conversation a couple years ago.
Yeah.
At my house, I was. I kept asking you about, well, don't you think the how is more important than the belief? And you were like, are you out of your mind?
That was me kind of exploring that idea. And I've since started to see how many. How many areas of my life did I look for the perfect how to.
I posted this yesterday on Instagram because I was having this text conversation with one of my team members, and I said, I have realized, at least for me, that an obsession with the right how to is a reflection of a sense of not enoughness.
I would agree with that for sure.
There's a. If you have to know how before you move forward, it's a. It's. It's a worth issue more than anything else. But when you let that go.
Then there's just this open smorgasbord. Now, I can believe that you can believe whatever you want.
Yeah.
But if you have a sense of. Lack of. And you have that thought pattern running, then the thought that you can just choose what you believe can sound ridiculous because it's actually a belief of what you can do, not a belief of what is possible. It's a belief of what you think is possible for you based on your perception of yourself.
And that's kind. I think that's why I'm hearing you so differently right now.
Interesting. Yeah.
Than I would have heard in the process past.
Probably. Yeah.
Because the. The belief that I am.
What I'm absorbing from you is hitting the. Is hitting a brain that believes I'm good enough. I can choose to do whatever. But previously, I don't. I don't think that was the case.
Well. And I think the other piece of that is, can you believe in something without knowing the how? Most people can't. Right. Most people. Well, I don't think that's possible until you tell me how to do that. But if you're trying to do something that's never been done or something that you've never done, you can't know the how.
Right. Because you've never done it before. Like, you don't Know how you're going to lose weight. You don't know how you're going to get the abs or whatever. So if you have to have the how, problem with having a how is that how is for sure going to fail the first time you do it. And so if that's the capital T how you're done, then you think it can be done. Right? And so I think when we talked before we had the conversation, it's like, could you have described how you were going to get here? And you were like, never. Right. There's no way you could have known the how until you arrived. So I think that's. It seems like.
What'S the right word? It seems like it's not a powerful thing to do to just sit around believing stuff without knowing the how. Right. Seems like a waste of time.
A question for you, Brooke. Do you put timetables on your beliefs? Like, I believe I am going to have $100 million business. Do you put a date on that?
Yeah. Eight years from now. So it was 10 years when I set the goal. So it's eight years.
Okay.
And I'm gonna probably do 35 million this year, so.
So you're ahead of the schedule.
Pretty easy. Yeah. I don't even. I don't even calculate that because here's the thing. Like, I have no idea how I'm gonna do 100 million, but I think it's gonna be way easier than what I'm doing now. I think it's just gonna be like, boom. I think it's gonna be, like, all at once that year. Like, that's my guess about it. It's like. I mean, we keep growing incrementally, but I don't have the feeling that we're just gonna keep growing to 100 million. I think it's gonna be a totally different animal by the time we get there. Does that make sense? It does.
But. But the reason I ask is because.
When I put a time on something, my initial reaction is, now I have to figure out how I'm gonna get there. And it doesn't feel good for me to do that. I don't know if it's. If it's like a.
Does it create a sense of urgency? Yes. So your timeframes must be too short or could be too short, maybe.
I think it just puts a date on fear of failure.
So it's terrible.
It puts me in. The first thing I think of is that day and not hitting the goal. And now I'm operating the same place that I would feel If I lost everything, like, I'm beating myself up and that's immediately what comes up. If I don't have a date for it, it's easier for me to believe whatever I want to believe, but it's.
Also easier for like, one of the reasons to set the goal and to put a date on it is so this stuff comes up that's in the way of you believing it. You don't want to keep that stuff away. Like, if there's stuff preventing you from believing it, you want it to come up so you can address it and deal with it. Right. Those are your obstacles. And converting those obstacles into strategies, Dan Sullivan. That's how we get there. So the only thing, if you think about it this way, the only thing between you and accomplishing your goal are the obstacles that you believe are in the way. You have to solve for them. So if you're believing in something just kind of airy fairy and you don't have a lot of obstacles, put a date on it and you're welcome.
All of a sudden, all the reasons why you can't do it will appear. And that's what you write down, solve for.
Okay, so let's play with this one.
Okay.
I want to have a hundred million dollar company. Actually, no, here's one that we've talked about.
Okay.
Having $10 million in my E Trade account.
It's a goal of mine.
Okay.
And if I say next year.
Yeah.
By this time next year, I would have $10 million in the E Trade account my brain is now running.
What does it say?
It's going. I'm not sure what stocks to buy, which I know if I give. If I was advising myself, like, that's a really unhelpful thought because immediately.
This is so funny. Immediately you went to. How do I do that?
Yes. Correct.
Yes. What I thought when you said that is like, that's so fun. That's so great. Isn't it Fun to have $10 million in your account? Like, can we just take a minute and enjoy it? You have $10 million in your E Trade account.
Like, you like, went into. What are we going to do to make it happen? Like, you didn't even enjoy that. That was going to be real.
Okay, all right. So what you.
So you didn't believe it.
Right? When I said one year, I stopped believing it. And.
What you're kind of pointing out is I came at it from lack. You're looking at it like, great, that's awesome.
It's so fun. Like, I think money's fun. So I think when you look in your account, there's like $10 million in there. That is just delicious. And then it's like, I wonder how I'm gonna do that.
Like it's already done. It's as good as done. I wonder how that happens. I wonder how I do that. Instead of like what stocks do I have to buy. I have to make sure this happens.
Okay, so pretend you're me.
Okay.
You set that goal. You just play with the thought and enjoy the thought.
At first you didn't, you didn't even give yourself 10 seconds to do that. Right. So I just 10 seconds, like enjoy how wonderful that will be. Just give yourself a minute. That'll be cool. And then. Okay. I don't know what stocks to buy. Obstacle number one. What's the next one?
I'm not sure what the market is going to do.
Not sure what the market's gonna do next one.
I can't think past those two because if I knew what stocks to buy and what the market was gonna do, I'd have $10 million.
Yeah, then you'd have the answer. Right?
And what was funny is I immediately want to defend. It's like I'm actually pretty good at this by the way. Like I actually have a pretty reasonable idea of what's gonna happen.
But here's what's so limiting about what you, about you saying that which is so interesting to me is like as soon as you think about a how which is buy stocks and know what the market's going to do, you've limited yourself to that's the way to make $10 million.
Uh huh.
There are so many ways to make $10 million. It didn't even occur to me that we would buy stocks. Right. Cause that's not fun for me. So I'm like, that's terrible. But like if it's just there's 10 million in my account, I wonder how I create that. Then there's so many possibilities. Like you open up so many different possibilities with you just having to know which stocks to buy and what the market's gonna do.
That's one how. But there's like hundred even just for you personally, you have your own business, you have. There's so many.
So another one could be. Be I'm just playing.
Another one could be some Oprah picks up my book.
And it sells 10 million copies and I make $10 million and I put it into my E Trade account.
Yeah, that could happen.
Yeah, that sounds really fun. And it sounds easier.
And that.
Oh, man.
But I want you to feel the different energy here. And I feel like you have a lot of dudes that listen here that are going to be like, come on, lady, just. Just hang with me. Very rich. Hang with me.
It's true. It's true. So listen, if you sit there and you're like, I have $10 million in my account. It is where we are. We're in April, right? It's April 2021. I have 10. You're, like, looking at it. You see the 10 million. You see what that feels like, right? And you're just, like.
100% convinced that that's happened. Let's say we traveled to the future together and did that, and we, like, looked in your account. You wouldn't be like, oh, God, what stocks did I buy? You wouldn't be, like, nervous. You'd be like, how the fuck did I do that?
Right. You'd be, like, curious about it, like.
What went on there? And then you wouldn't know. So you could guess at it and think about it. All of a sudden, your creativity and your energy is so much lighter and so much more buoyant, and you're in such a space of possibility that you come up with things that you would never come up with. And that's what's happened to me my whole life in building my business, since I started believing in stuff.
This is where my brain's going, is I'm imagining watching a movie.
Yeah.
And in the movie, you fast forward to the climax and you're like, how did.
How did that guy get killed? Yeah. And then, wait, I thought they were married.
Wait, what's going on? Yeah. And then you're taken back to the beginning.
Yeah.
So I'm imagining this movie. Movie in which I'm at. I get to watch this movie where I show up in my E trade account, has $10 million in it.
And you've already seen it. You've already seen. You know, that's how the movie ends. So now you just get to like. So then you go and you try something, and that doesn't work. You're like, oh, I thought that was going to be it. That was not how I did it.
That's an interesting twist to this movie.
And then, so, well, I better try something else. I mean, you have to keep taking action. But you don't know what's so great.
About that, is now I'm zoomed back into my life, and most times I would be like, I don't know how I'm gonna do that. And Now I have a reason to be upset. But if I'm just like, man, I can't.
Like, that's.
I can't wait to see how this is gonna unfold. Now. I am. All I am thinking about is, like, there's $10 million in my bank.
Maybe it's this, maybe it's this. Maybe I'll try this, maybe I'll try that. And then when they don't work, you don't care because it's already done.
And you know where my thought goes there? It's like, huh, I'm just gonna enjoy my day now.
And think about possibilities. You'll start thinking in such a bigger way. Like, thinking about which stocks to buy and what the market's gonna do is so limiting. Can you see that? It's so limiting.
Wow.
Well, Brooke, you could have 10 friends give you a million dollars.
That's true.
Let's name them.
Yeah, that's true. We could do that.
I mean, that's what I'm talking about. Like, it when. And that is fun. That's where your creativity comes in. That's where your ideas come in. You're like, well, what if we did this and what if we did that? And what if, like, I'll give you an example of this for my business where I just.
I'm doing my home alone face.
Okay? Do it. I did this with my business just now. So we just sold right through March. We sold out our certification program. We were trying to get 500 people in. We ended up with, like, 620. I think I told you this, right? It was just like, the demand was so high. So, you know, the life coaching industry is on fire. Everyone wants in. Everyone wants to get certified right now. It's crazy. Is that an observation, or did I just make that up in my mind? I don't know. So we decided, hey, why don't we just open another class? Since we've already started this class, we'll open another class and we'll say, hey, this is a speed option. If you want to jump in. This class is already going. You'll have to double down in the beginning, but you can catch up if you want, right? We're like, let's sell 10 of those. Why not? Right? It's just fun if people don't buy them. It's fine if people buy them. So, you know, 50 people later.
You know what I mean? So it's like, these ideas and the curiosity and the lack of attachment to it just makes. It makes making money fun. And also, what would people Love to be a part of. And how can we create that? And how can we make sure that we have more success during this time than we've ever had in our lives?
Believe that.
I both love and hate when I have nothing left to ask.
I feel like we should have had this on video too, because you're my.
Face the whole time is just so good.
Where's your video guy? He's can't.
Is there anything that you don't believe that. That you want to believe that you can't or don't?
I feel like everything's a process, right? So I feel like as soon as you really truly believe something 100%, then it manifests in reality. So everything that I don't have yet, I don't believe 100% yet.
And that's okay. It's part of the journey and experience.
I'm enjoying everything that you don't have. You don't believe yet.
I don't believe 100% yet. So. So like making $100 million, I'm not 100% there yet or I'd have the 100 million.
Already. Right?
Explain that to me because it's kind.
Of like being able to do like a triple flip like I'm practicing and I know that it'll happen, but I'm just not 100% there yet. Because if I was 100% there yet, it'd be done.
Yeah, yeah, that makes sense. But you do believe in the 100 million?
I do believe in it, but not 100% because otherwise I'd have 100 million. And I don't believe this is the other thing.
This is.
I don't believe.
That requires time either.
You don't believe that requires time?
I don't think it's a matter of time to be able to believe something. I think you can believe it and manifest it much more quickly than we allow ourselves to do.
You think it is more a matter of believing it 100%?
Oh, I know that is right. If I. I do believe that. If I believed in 100%, I'd already have it.
So those confused look you see on my face.
Is that.
I perceive you as already at least believing that it's going to happen.
No, I believe it's going to happen, just not 100%.
Because the minute that 100% belief is there, the result appears.
What stops you from believing then?
All the things human brain.
But don't get caught up in that being a problem because it's not a problem.
I don't see it as a Problem. I see it as like a. I'm looking at it as well. If we can believe whatever we choose to believe and if we can find data to support that belief.
Then.
Are we in control of our beliefs? If we choose to believe something but don't. Does that make any sense at all?
Kind of. But I think there's a moment when you. When like your belief and reality match. Exactly. That's like a ch.
Ch.
That kind of happens and it feels like a completion and. But you've been believing it all the way along. So it's not like winning the lottery out of the blue. It's like, yeah, I always knew this was kind of to happen, but there's. It's almost like. And 100% and it clicks in like.
You catching up to speed with your own. With your own beliefs.
It's almost like reality is now caught up with the brain. Yeah. Yeah.
Okay. Okay.
And.
We'Ll leave it at that.
I don't want to confuse it anymore, but yeah, I think it's fun to live in the world of believing amazing things.
I need a cigarette.
For your own life.
So what are you gonna enjoy believing today? I think is a great question to kind of leave it with everybody. Like, what do you wanna believe and what can you start enjoying believing right now? And you don't even have to tell anybody. You don't even have to, in fact don't, because people will tell you why it can't happen and just enjoy believing something.
I thought you were asking.
Oh, yeah, sure.
And so I'm gonna say I was.
Talking to your people, but because back.
To you, Ryan.
Mine was selling a million books.
Okay.
So I'm so proud of the book I wrote and I don't know how I'm gonna sell off.
Of course that's where you're gonna go too.
And so. So I've been kind of in this loop of like, I'm so proud of this thing and I just want to share it. Like, I'm. I'm so proud. And so I set the goal. I want to sell a million books. I have no idea how that's going to happen, but I would really enjoy just sitting and enjoying the thought of a million books.
Yeah, that's exactly right. So just enjoy what it's like. What is it like to have sold a million million copies of your book.
Is.
Exciting.
Proud, fun. Yeah, I really, I really, I can imagine myself at just a book signing where somebody that I've never met is saying how my book impacted them.
It just sounds fun.
So you don't have to know the how to be able to just be in that space of that. And then people say, but what if you don't sell a million books?
I would say.
Well, you can still buy it. It's still for sale.
Maybe not yet. Maybe I haven't sold it yet. Right. But it's like, even if you don't sell a million books, being able to enjoy having some sold a million books like, it. It just puts you in the space of. It's kind of like that forward traveling. Like, you go to the space where you've sold a million books, you're, like, curious. I'm going to be that guy that sells a million books. Like, what is. And. And just living in that space is so much fun.
Yeah. And I. I mean, I just even had the thought of, like, if you get frustrated with the result, you get frustrated with the process that can make it happen. So I just thought of if I really believed that a million books is going to happen. And let's say it's a year in and I'm not there, but I still believe it. Every podcast request, I'm so like, yes, exactly. And I can see that podcast being the one that puts it over.
Yeah.
And so is the next one and the next one and the next one.
And that's the thing. It's like, once you've spent time in the space of accomplishing the thing, you're not in a hurry to get there because you've already been there. And that's the thing that allows you to, like, be chill through your whole life. You don't have to be in such a hurry to get it done, to hustle to make sure you get there, because then it'll be great because you're already. I've already sold a million books. I've already. I'm already enjoying it. That's how I feel about the 100 million.
Because people say to me, oh, my God, I can't believe how much money you made this year. I'm like, I know, right? But they're thinking one amount, but I'm already 10 years down the road.
Wow, Brooke, thank you for this.
You got it. I think you should edit out all the parts where I don't sound great and intelligent.
You're like, seriously.
Leave it all in, my friends. It's all great.
Thanks, Brooke.
You got.
Was long, huh?
It was perfect. How long was it the perfect amount.
I'm just curious.
