Ryan Daniel Moran, Justice, and Dr. Travis Zigler discuss how to scale a product to 100 sales a day. They cover building an audience, creating market demand, and using personal conviction to drive sales. Ryan shares his experience buying back a company and rebuilding it into an eight-figure business.

What's up, ladies and gentlemen? We're gonna talk about 100 sales a day today. If you get four products at 25 sales a day at a $30 price point, that's a million dollar business. And today I'm gonna tell you exactly how to get to 100 sales a day. Not just in theory, but how I'm doing it. Right now. I just retook over a company that I sold in 2017 and the business sucks. It's so bad, it's in such shambles. And I'm gonna rebuild the whole thing from the ground up with.
Outlined a plan to get our products to 100 sales a day. And we're going to share exactly how we're going to do it. Sharing a class that I taught my paying students. You're going to see it for free.
So the reason why today is going to be the best coaching call ever is I'm going to share with all of you how we are going to resurrect this brand from this dead in the ashes brand to having an eight figure valuation again. And most specifically, I'm going to give you guys the exact strategy of how we're going to take every product to a hundred sales a day and it's going to be different from what you're used to hearing and it's going to make so much sense for you. Because the benefit of what I have is I have five years of getting better, of building my network, building my skill set, teaching this stuff and watching what's being implemented and what's not being implemented. And you've heard me say certain things like I do not understand why more people don't do X, Y or Z. And I am doing all of those things. And so I'm going to lay out the plan of exactly what the execution looks like of how we're going to take each individual product to 100 sales a day, how we're going to build an eight figure valuation, and all of you are going to be able to take at least one little piece from this and say, all right, what can I implement my business right now to get that hockey stick broke? So I sold the company for $15 million. I did not get all that money up front. So some of that was held back and I was owed, I was owed a decent amount, a few million bucks. But I got, I got a nice chunk and I split that between my partner. So I, you know, I walked away with, with enough like a nice, a nice exit. And so $15 million it was doing about when we sold it, it was doing a million a month or we had had our first million dollar month, it was doing $3 million in profit. I am buying it back. It's doing $1 million in top line. It's profiting about $100,000. Maybe geez. Maybe geez. And we bought it back for less than the cost of the inventory. So if we sell the inventory that we currently have, we will profit on the transaction itself. So we basically bought it for the hard costs of what exists and the asset value was zero.
Wait, so really quick you're saying we and you're also, how did you get that deal? Because I think there's people in our community that are like, I want to purchase something, a brand, because I have the skill set. I'm not going to take it from zero to ten, but I can take it from twenty or thirty to a hundred. And so you're coming in like, like, can you share more about that?
Good question. Really good question. So I used to buy a lot of websites back in the day. In fact, before all of you knew me as the E commerce guy, I was the website buying guy.
So what?
Something that I used to teach when I did that stuff was you should only buy websites where you can see how your skill set can add value. And when you know what that is, you can look for specific deals that match your skill set and negotiate lower prices because nobody else wants it. That was why I was able to get sheer at such a deal. Because on paper this was a worthless brand. No one wants this brand. It couldn't be sold through empire filled flippers. It was, it was not. When you factor in the team cost, it's not profitable. Yep. There's no path to victory. There's no unique skills. Like there's no unique product. The audience had been neglected, so now the audience is sort of dead.
Yep.
So the only way that this brand made sense for a purchase is if somebody was passionate about the direction of the brand, knew the industry, knew what to do. So the old founder, the original founders were really the only buyers.
Yeah.
And I also had a relationship with the new private equity group that had purchased it. I had a good relationship. It was actually, I actually bought it back from a former student. The way that it, the way that it sort of it was, the assets got moved several times and it ended up in the hands of a former student. That was, that was basically like I, like he did well by Ryan. Like he sort, he, he, he negotiated with me, but he negotiated fairly. He negotiated well and we got a deal done. So it. It is.
Was. This is a unique deal, but it's not out of. These things happen.
Yeah.
When you've got the skill set that you are using to be able to increase the value of something. So the takeaway there is to know exactly what the skill set is that you bring to the table and look for the assets and the opportunities that match that.
All businesses suck if you. If the people behind it suck. Businesses are no more than the combined efforts and talents and skill sets of the people behind it. So this brand is valuable to me because I know what to do and because I'm excited about it. But to somebody else, this is a worthless brand. That's proven because the brand was run into the ground, taken from a $3 million EBITDA per year, all the way down to no profit at all and about 90% of a drop in sales. That's because the other people who owned it didn't have the right skillset to build that business. And many entrepreneurs are trying to start businesses that they don't have a unique eye for, an interest in, a real passion or driving force behind or even the skill set to be able to take that off the ground. Now, it's okay to develop your skill set over the years, but this is why I always recommend that someone start a business that they have a unique eye for or a unique interest in. Because any business is good or bad relative to the person who is starting it and the team that is assembled.
I feel like I know the unique skill set that you are now bringing it. You've got this wealth of knowledge now. You've seen so many brands. You've got the fund where you're getting to see what scales, what works, like, all that kind of stuff. So you're bringing all that in. Is there anything different that you're bringing in that gives you confidence on this? And then is there, like, what is your strategy now? And is it anything different than what's like in your book?
Totally. So I, I'll answer. I'll answer both of these first. This is such an important teaching point for all of you. Please tune in here. Like, please, please listen to this.
In this round in chapter two of Sheer Strength, I'm sort of playing with the gloves off. I don't need the money. Yep. I want to see it happen. Now, I don't know if I can gift you that same conviction about your business and your brand, but if you could take it on, you'll be so much more powerful. So the way that this changes the way That I do business this time is I am not looking at any data about what makes a good product. So, Justice, I'm gonna quiz you, see how well you know my content.
Great.
All right, so the first step to ensuring that you have a successful brand is to choose your who. Your person. Right. Yes. Yes. You're who, your audience. When I built this brand originally I was a skinny bro. I'm not that anymore. You know, I got, I have two kids. I'm 34. I want to be playing with my kids and running around with them until I'm 60. Like I want to be playing with their grandkids.
Yes.
No, I, I want to be, I want to be fit until I'm 80, 90, 100.
Yeah.
And so my goals have changed and so I've chosen a different who. Ironically, it's still me.
Yes.
But it's a different journey. Completely different journey. So if you look at the who, it's no longer the same 25 year old bro who wants to put on muscle. The who is now 30 plus. Dads who still want to be fit are doing the best they can at home, at work and in the gym. They get to the gym when they can. They don't have the time to be. To do two a days anymore.
Yeah.
Right. It's. It's you and me, Justice.
Yes.
Right. So that's the who. That's, that's step one.
I went back and forth on whether or not I was even going to buy this company. Yes, it's my old business, but I wasn't sure that I wanted it until I chose the who. Until I chose who my target audience was going to be. And I realized that I don't have to keep serving the same type of person that we served back in 2013. It's been 10 years. I've changed and the marketplace has changed. Once I gave myself permission to serve the who that I wanted to serve long term, that's when I knew that I wanted to buy this company back. Always start with who you serve at.
The beginning of your business now, because we're clear on that. Justice. I don't need to look at what other people are doing or selling. What do you think I'm asking? When I'm thinking about what products to sell, what do they need?
Exactly.
Yep.
What is my who need? Yes. What. What will make an impact for the journey that my who is on? Yeah. Looking at the hero's journey, what's the what is the journey that they're on? Justice, you and I have both experienced this you have kids, life changes, your body changes, your sleep changes, your schedule changes. All of a sudden, having that hard, chiseled physique becomes a little bit more difficult because we're more stressed, we're working more, we're sleeping less. All this stuff happens. So these are that. That's the journey, dad. That's the start of the journey. You are now overcoming all kinds of obstacles on the way to being the. The father leader, the father figure. And one of the taglines I'm working with, justice, is I think I might call the tagline be from dad bod to father figure. Oh, it's good, right? That's good.
That's good, dad.
But from dad bod to father figure, that's the transformation that will take them on.
So you said something that I don't think people get. It's the transformation that we're taking them on. Did you know this early on when you're starting your, like, talks about buying it back, or did this come during the process? Or did you know early on this is the transformation that needs to happen?
I knew that I needed to decide what it would be if I was going to bring any value to the company, if I was going to turn around the company, then I needed to start making the decisions of who and the transformation.
Yes.
So. So when I'm looking at the product line and what I'm going to sell.
Yes.
I'm not looking at. Okay, like, there's a lot of people selling this. This seems to be successful. Let's do this. I'm actually going in and saying, there ain't nobody selling this and we're going to own the entire market. We're going to create the market, not respond to the market. One of the products that we are considering.
Yeah.
Is a GUT Restore. And got the GUT Restore has a certain ingredient in it that is not well known, but it's worked amazing for me. It has. It has. It like I had. I had gut issues my entire life until I discovered PPC. BPC157. Right. It doesn't even have a real name. It's just the name of the compound, BPC157. And BPC157 is something that I. I'm really passionate about bringing to the marketplace because I just know it works.
Yes.
And I can look you in the eye, Justice. And I'd be like, dude, if you have gut issues, you need to. You have to take this. I'm telling you, I promise you. Give it 30 days. I did this with Travis Zig I told you I have a Ziggler. I was like, you got gut issues, dude. Go get some BPC157. Just please give it 45 days. And he came back and was like, thank you for that recommendation. That was really helpful. Now, I tell you this because I can look you in the eye, justice, and have conviction about that ingredient. And we'll combine it with other things that create the best gut restore that's ever been created.
Yeah.
What happens when you run an ad that has that amount of conviction? Dude, what happens?
Dude, people buy conviction. Like, they just are. That's. They are buying. They're like borrowing your conviction.
Yes.
And then scale happens when that thing actually gets you the results. Like they'll borrow you the conviction until they take the product and they go, oh, now I'm convicted because it works.
Yes.
And that's how you get crazy reviews. That's how you get crazy testimonial videos, all that stuff. It's because the product actually has to work. But they're barring your conviction until they see that same result in their own. In their own life.
As you can see here, I'm not doing a ton of market research to find what product is going to be profitable to sell. I don't believe in that. For all of you who are drop shippers or just looking at some software to tell you how much volume there is in a space, you're looking at what currently exists and saying, can I get a slice of that? That's not what I believe in. I believe in going in and creating markets. You might have seen. When influencers or TikTok creators talk about a topic for long enough, it spikes in interest. They're creating the market. They have conviction about that product or that service. That is what I want to do with this brand. Not go out there and sell what everybody else is selling, but bring new solutions to the marketplace that are good enough that they create their own demand. That's what I am building this brand on. Rather than looking at what other people are selling and what's working for them, we're creating what is best for the customer and creating our own markets.
Let me ask you this, Justice. What do you think the internal market data on Amazon and Google Trends is for BPC157?
Does it even exist?
0.
There's a couple sellers on Amazon that might do like 10 sales a day.
Yeah.
And, and, and somebody else goes out and tries to sell it, they're going to have a hard time.
Right.
Because they're trying to get the Data. They're trying to get the traffic that's on Amazon to them. Yes. But I'm like, no, I am going to build the market.
Yes.
I am going to create the market and I'm going to get all of it. The same is true with, with. We're looking at an anti aging supplement, a certain anti aging compound called nmn. It stands for non macronial nakamukotide or something. It's a very long name. But we're working on a possible anti aging supplement that will be very effective for energy and cell repair and longevity. And once again, there is no market data to suggest that this is a good product to sell. But because of its effectiveness, I can write a damn good sales letter for it.
Yes.
And I can take the, I can take the proof from all these studies and put them into an amazing sales letter.
Yep.
That will address a specific problem. Yes. That that person has. And so I can do all of this because I know my person and the transformation that I'm taking them on. I could not do this if I was looking for a good product to sell.
People are not going to, like, they don't know. Like, this is the thing, you don't know when this thing is going to come to you, your brand. Where you're at on your brand strategy right now, some of you are working on your who. Some of you have scaled 25 sales a day. But the thing that I think people need to know is like, Ryan is casting this vision before he actually had purchased the company.
That's right. That's right.
He was building the network before he actually had ownership or knew for sure that he would be the one to get the ownership. He was doing the work of building like a network and building relationships ahead of time, which I don't, I don't know if many of you are getting that in the value of it, because it doesn't guarantee you 25 sales a day right now. But he's like, I've got a vision for something. I'm building these relationships. The deal works. He has it. He's not having to now go out and try to get these relationships. They're there.
They're already there. They've been built over already there. So you want to talk about how we're going to get every product 100 sales a day.
All right, so this is the tactical part of the video where I share exactly how we're going to get our products to 100 sales a day. The foundation of the strategy is that we're going to be building Our audience by creating a book that gives a lot of value upfront and running ads to the book. Now, the purpose of this funnel is not to be profitable but to deliver value on the front end that creates raving fans and drives up interest for the products that we have inside of the brand. And we'll spend money to acquire those email addresses and those contacts so that we can launch additional products in the future. So we'll spend money and probably lose some upfront in order to build the audience, get them excited about the brand and have a launch list ready for when we release additional products.
We know my person is the 30 plus father figure. So we're going to write either a book or a free guide. One of the two that is going to be the best. The biohacks that will take you from dad bod to father figure. Yeah. It is just a book or a download on the transformation. Yes. Now if we get opt ins, we get emails for $5 apiece, which is not great, but it's acceptable.
Sure.
How much money will we spend to have a list of 20,000 people? Justice?
$100,000.
$100,000. Right. So the cost would be $100,000 to have a list of 20,000 people. But it's not like that is not going to turn into immediate revenue and profit. Sure. We build the follow up sequences, we build the upsell flows, we build the promotions so that that is at least a break even. Can we turn an email address for our targeted person into being worth $5 over the course of 90 days?
You guys are getting schooled right now, do you? Are you guys listening to like, this.
Is, this is a masterclass right here.
Yes.
Like, this is what I'm trying to help people understand is like, this is.
What I've been trying to tell you.
Try to tell us everybody. And they're like, but how do I get on Amazon? And like, how do I do this? I'm like, guys, if you know your person, make like give them a way to get the result that you don't make anything on and bring them into your ecosystem and warm them up and then get them results through your product like suite. It's. He is helping them. You are literally helping them become father figures. Like you are owning their transformation and you're being intentional about it.
That's right. So we're gonna, we're gonna put together this report book. We haven't decided yet are we going to sell it as a real book or. But we'll write it under the name of one of the Doctors that we partner with. So. And of course he'll approve it all.
Yes.
And all and all that. But, like, we'll do the draft, he'll come and add his flare, and we'll make sure that it. That it all works. So if we do, if we get email addresses for $5, we have a list of 20,000 people for $100,000 that will probably break even. But let's just say we lost all that money. We spent $100,000 just to build the list of 20,000 people. Let's just. Let's just say that $100,000 is gone. Well, first of all, this is why we raise capital.
Yep.
This is why we encourage all of our members inside of the incubator to cast a vision and to raise capital. Raise 100 grand. Raise 200 grand. We can help them do it. We help them put together the vision and the resources they need to be able to make that an easy sell of raising that capital. Oftentimes when people pitch during pitch week, they have investors reaching out to them to invest, sometimes at higher valuations than what they expected. Yes, but. So we got the hundred grand. Let's just say we pissed it all away.
Yes.
Justice, what can we do with a targeted list of 20,000 people that are fresh leads that just read a book about biohacks that we sell?
We can give them the ingredients in the biohacking thing to then go for them to just say, oh, this is how I do it. We can also give them more information to warm them up even more towards these things. But we just. If they love your ebook, now you're giving them the supplements that help them achieve their result faster.
So what do you think? With a list of 20,000 people that were active, do you think it's possible that we could have a launch of a product. Oh, my gosh, dude. That maybe didn't have the Amazon data.
But was exactly what they needed? Do you think we could do that? Yes. And do you think it's possible that we could charge higher prices than other competitors? And do you think it's possible that we could take a sale on our website versus Amazon, or we could send them straight to Amazon and get all that algorithm juice? Do you think it's possible that we might be able to turn that list of 20,000 people into 200 reviews?
I really want to emphasize that the audience is an asset that is going to be what drives our sales. Not Amazon not having the right Shopify conversion optimization, but by building an audience that prefers to buy from us when you have that. You have repeat customers, you have higher price points. That's an asset that you can use in your valuation. And it's the foundation of everything that I believe in for launching million dollar brands.
And I'm so happy you're doing this.
Because it's like you're thinking about your person.
Totally. You are like, I'm only thinking about my person.
And people go, let me think about my person. Let me go get products and then let me try and force them to buy my product. And you're going first. How do I get them results Ebook. Okay. If I really believe in my products, how do I then warm them up to start using my products to get even better results?
Okay, now we can do a launch, but how do I. Now they're excited because they've already got results. They already trust us, all that stuff. They're starting to be raving fans already. So then it's like the chance of them leaving reviews is so much higher. Instead of you trying to find ways to get them to. To review your stuff.
That's right.
Coming back after a purchase and going, will you review it? It's more like, you know, they're going to get results.
What does all this mean? We're giving the big takeaway, the thing that we can run traffic to that creates a meaningful shift in someone's life and building all of this lead flow around them so that we can do product launches, promotions. We now have an audience that we can use to negotiate with influencers. We can go on and say, hey, we have this audience of 20,000 people. If you have me on your podcast, we'll send it out to our audience so that that actually opens up relationships for me to go say, I want to be on your YouTube show. I want to be on your podcast to talk about my product line. And I'll send it out to my list of 20,000. I've now got an audience. That is the asset that we can promote our products, our brand, raise capital, whatever you want to do now justice. When you've got a lead flow system that breaks even within 90 days. I'm going to spend $5 now with the expectation that I'm going to make my $5 back y 90 days from now. Not day one, two, three, but 90 days from now. How big can I build that list?
I mean, three times. I mean, you can, you can just.
Infinite, right?
Yeah.
I can spend $5 to make $5. Yeah. And I get a customer.
Yeah.
I get an email list. So over the course of a year, it's reasonable to say that we could scale that up to a thousand opt ins a day. We have 300. Well, to factor in unsubscribes, we've now got a hundred or three hundred thousand people on a list to take a year.
Let's just run some basic numbers. If we a year from now decide we're going to do a product launch at a high end product like one of our products we're looking at right now is going to it, it's going to sell for 70 to $100.
Yes.
Let's just go high to make the numbers easy. We're going to sell this product for a hundred dollars.
Yes.
Hundred dollars. We have a list of 300,000 people that had a good experience with us. If we convert it 2%. 1% would be three. 3,000 people.
Yeah.
3,000 sales. 2% would be 6,000 sales. What is 6,000 times a hundred?
$600,000. Right. Okay, 6,000 times a hundred dollars. So that would be a $600,000 launch. Yes. Of a physical product.
6,000 from one product.
Yes.
And that's just from the launch. If we send 6,000 sales to Amazon, is Amazon going to rank us higher?
Yes.
If 10% of those 6,000 sales leave reviews and we have 600 reviews, are we going to convert better? Are our Amazon ads going to convert better? Are we going to continue to buy Facebook and YouTube traffic to build up this list and continue to do promotions for this product and are the conversions to to that email list going to go up when there are 600 to a thousand reviews on a product and you have all this social proof of people saying this is great, I love this company and this is where the snowball builds. So we started the top of this call saying how are we going to get every product to a hundred sales a day?
After running these numbers you realize, oh, if I'm not doing a hundred sales a day, it's because I'm just not playing hard.
Yes.
All right.
So that is the exact strategy for how we are going to launch our products and get them to 100 sales a day and rebuild an eight figure company. Hope you enjoyed it because we're going to be talking about this more here on the channel. I'm going to be documenting the growth of my old slash new business and sharing with you what's working and what's not. So please make sure that you're subscribed to the channel and you follow along on the resurgence of this business. I'm Ryan Daniel Moran with capitalism.com, i'll see you next time. And now a quick word from Dr. Travis Travis Zigler, one of our members from the capitalism.com community.
I'm Dr. Travis Zigler, and along with my wife, Dr. Jenna Zigler, we started a brand called Ilove. We had our exit in June of 2021. So that was a huge milestone for us both, from making us financially free to getting us out of debt, student loan debt that we've had since we became doctors in optometry school. And when we sold, we were doing close to 450,000amonth. I started with capitalism.com back in 2017, 2016, around that time, and I joined the tribe first, which was the equivalent to the incubator. Now, the biggest thing, and I think this is the fear that brings us all back, is they're afraid of investing and getting that return on your money. And so my fear of investing in myself, I'd never done anything like that up to that point. And my wife wasn't there and I joined without consulting her, which was, I don't recommend doing that. But it was probably one of the best decisions we've ever made because it's just amazing what an investment in yourself with capitalism.com has done for us. Nothing changes after like an exit or a financially freeing exit or anything like that. But how is our life different from joining capitalism.com it's.
It's our therapy. Ryan is known as the entrepreneur's therapist for a reason, and it's because when you talk to him, he gets you out of your own head. But if you join, this is a proven system. I mean, people have gone through this and they've, they've come out the other side better. If you join this and you don't get results, it's up here. It's not. It has nothing to do with the course, has nothing to do with the people that are in capitalism.com it has to do with you. You need to look in the mirror because you can get the exact same course as the person sitting right next to you, and you guys will both have two different results. And it's all because the mentality that you take into the course, if you go into it, or joining the networking or the mastermind, if you go into it with a negative attitude that this isn't going to work, it's not going to work for you, so don't join it. But if you go in ready to go, it's going to work. It worked for me, it's going to work for you too. It's just you got to steer or jump over the mental hurdles because believe me, you will hit roadblocks like you wouldn't believe, both in your personal life and in your business life. And that's what this is here for. It's here to help you get through.
