What'S up fastlaners? Ryan Daniel Moran here. Welcome to Freedom Fastlane. Today we're going to be joined by Ralph Kleska. One of my favorite stories, selfishly, because it was two years ago that Ralph discovered Freedom Fastlane. Today he runs over a million dollar business. He's also developing a new disruptor. According to some of the trainings that we put fund your life with your cash flow business, then pivot and start a disruptor that changes the world. And that's exactly what Ralph is doing. In today's show, we cover how Ralph went from kind of confused and not sure where to go to hearing some of our trainings and putting it to work and getting over that hundred thousand dollar a month point and scaling that business for massive success. We talk about what those things were that he heard me talk about or us talk about in some of our videos or trainings that helped him go from that point where he had a product but he wasn't sure how to sell it to getting to that million dollar point and what he's doing now in order to really change people's lives with his next company. That is what we are about here. That, that is the model. And that's why I'm so proud to feature Ralph here on Freedom Fastlane. Hey, if you want to start a business, if you want to follow the same roadmap that Ralph followed, you can get access to one of our free trainings over@freedomfastlane.com million. It will show you the roadmap to going from either having an idea or having no ideas at all to getting to that million dollar point and then growing beyond that. You'll see the exact same roadmap that Ralph followed and the roadmap that I've followed for all of my million dollar businesses. So you can sign up for that for free over@freedomfastlane.com million. Now let's go hang out with Ralph. Ralph Klesko, welcome to Freedom Fastlane.
Well, thank you for having me, Ryan.
Dude, I've been looking forward to this for quite a long time. It's probably overdue because your story is probably the favorite out of anyone that has come across what we do here at Freedom Fast Lane. Before we go into that, I kind of want to give speed speed ahead and talk about now because you've got cool things going on. And the way I understand it, you're right at that million dollar level point and now you're, you're pivoting into something much bigger. You've kind of got your cash flow business and then you're pivoting to something bigger. So would you just kick us off by talking about where you are now and then I want to talk about how we got there.
So as you already know, I have my first brand that I started back in 2014 and that is the brand I built for the sole purpose of getting cash. So this was not something I was passionate about. It was purely what can I sell to make money. So now that I'm at the point that I've surpassed a million dollar level where I can comfortably, you know, sit back and think about what I really want to do that will actually make me happy, make a bigger impact in the world. Now I've actually partnered with my now fiance. You might not know about this, I didn't.
Congratulations.
Thank you. So now we've partnered up with her passion with skincare. You know, she's always been doing skincare products at home, being vegan. So we've partnered up with my business knowledge and now we're working on a bigger cause basically to just to give you a hint to help fight climate change. And we're a very eco friendly company. So that's what we're actually launching this month.
Cool.
So that's what I'm up to at the moment.
Yeah, we'll talk a little bit about more that, more about that company in a little bit. Tell me a little bit about the cash flow business. Am I right in understanding you're right at about that million dollar level And I'm curious what you see for that now that you're kind of pivoting to something. Are you looking to grow that you just kind of want to maintain it and have it fund your life? What are the goals around that one and how big is it right now?
So right now at this moment, I don't have many employees, so I only have one person doing customer service for me. And I'm actually planning my focus is going to be towards that more of the disruptive type of business. So I'm not planning to keep the company where it's at. I will be hiring a CEO actually. In fact, I'm looking for one to run the business. I plan to make it grow because actually I gave my parents some equity in that company. So I do want it to grow and become something big. I just don't want to be the one to be the one carrying it and taking it everywhere. So that makes sense.
Yeah, you've grown it to the point where it pays for your life. I think you can correct me If I'm wrong, but it, you know, it's a million dollar business. You want it to be a multimillion dollar business. I think you know what it takes to get there. But at this point we all know that cash flow businesses ultimately don't make us happy. So you might as well bring on somebody who can automate it for you. So that you can take the money that you're earning and put it into something that makes you happy and feels like you're making a big contribution to the world.
Exactly.
That's, that's accurate. Cool.
Yes.
And is, am I right that it's right about that million dollar level maybe a little bit higher?
Yes. Right around I've hit a 120 and you know, right after the holidays that sells kind of slowed down. So I'm picking back up right now.
Okay, perfect.
Well, by the end of the year I hope to be at 250 for that brand.
Cool. So you're looking to be at about $2 million on your cash flow business and then you're launching your disruptor business right now, which is so friggin exciting. Let's talk about how we got there. Let's talk about.
I know two years ago none of this even existed. So you've got a really cool story of how you found us and built this business. So would you take us from day one about building this cash flow business, what your goals were and how it all got started?
So it was in 2012, I believe I started, I got a call from my brother and he was asking me for help because he lives in Costa Rica. And he asked me to help him set up some payments because the company he was working with could not take payments if you were outside the US and that's when I asked him, hey, what is it you're doing? And that's when I found out he was doing some type of business on the Internet. And right around that time I had just finished reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad. So my eyes were open and I said hey, I want to try that. So I started doing all kinds of things. Affiliate marketing, I started promoting different digital products, multi level marketing. I drop shipped up until 2014 when I actually I took a course that taught you how to get your private label product. Now once you put it on Amazon, they didn't go any further.
So I'm sorry to interrupt Ralph, but I'd like for you to share what were you doing for money at the time while you were researching all this?
I was doing drop shipping. So I was getting some success Just maybe getting about a thousand bucks a month. Okay, so it wasn't that much of a. It wasn't. It wasn't life changing at all.
And. And was that. I mean, was that what you were living on, doing a thousand.
No, I wasn't. I actually was the manager at Haagen Dazs store for nine years.
Nine years. So. And at this point, at what point did you know you wanted more? I mean, you'd been doing that for nine years. At one point, were you like, I want something more out of life?
It was right after my girlfriend's mom actually told me about this great book called Rich Dad, Poor Dad. And at that point, I looked at my life. I was in college studying engineering, and I realized, wow, he talks about getting out of college, getting a house. Now once you have the house, you have to get the furniture, and you don't want to keep that crappy car, so you're going to end up buying a new car. And I looked at my life and I realized, whoa, this is exactly what I'm gonna be doing. So I decided I'm not gonna be doing this. I don't. You know, I might have to start to support myself, but that's not what I'm gonna be doing for the rest of my life. So that's when I started, you know, I started playing with investing in penny stocks. I did all kinds of things just to not get into this rat race. So I did drop shipping with some success. And then I found you. Once I was trying to figure out how to get my product selling. So back to what I was saying, where I took a course, I found a product, a private label product. I put it on Amazon, and I could not figure out what to do, how do I get it to sell? And at this point, I went on YouTube and I typed in how to launch an Amazon product. And guess who showed up?
Some handsome dude.
Some handsome dude that was saying it publicly on stage, you know, so it was you making us speak about how you got to a million dollars a month. And I launched my product in August. So for four months, I ran out of stock four times. I learned very quickly not to ever do that again. But. So in January, I read the book the One Thing. And right along with your second speech, which was stage one, only focusing on what's important. And that book, the one thing that you recommended, was saying the same thing. Only focus on what makes the biggest difference. So that year, I only focused. I put all goals aside. I only focused on the one thing that made the Biggest difference for me. So I set my goals that I would actually do the same thing you did, which was hit a million dollars that year. So $84,000 a month was my goal. And at that time I was doing just over 30, 30, 35,000 from watching your free YouTube videos. So I decided, hey, the last time you're gonna launch the tribe that you're gonna promote the.
What's it called again, the last time.
We did it as like a bonus.
Yes, exactly. So I said, hey, I'm gonna join this guy. So I joined and from there, you know, the rest is history. Went from 35 to 84,000 within, I believe, just nine months. So within nine months, I went from 30 to 84,000.
Yeah, that's. That's beautiful. I've got, I've got two questions based on that, because you went from, you know, that 35 to 80 something pretty quickly. And you also mentioned that you did that by not doing more, but by really focusing on. On what mattered. So what did you discover mattered in that stage that created that big jump from 30 to 80, 84?
So with your coaching, the only thing you told everyone was to focus on getting reviews, which is social proof, and launching and basically doing anyhow get sales to come in so you can gain rank. So basically you said, focus on reviews and a launch. That's all two things. And that's exactly what I did. I said I was not going to look at. Because I had been doing a lot of things for a few years. And I said, if this guy could do it using those two things, I can do it too. So I put everything else aside every week. Basically I was repeating myself every week. I said, okay, what's the one thing I can do this week to move my business forward? And if you look at my journal right now, it was always get more reviews and do some kind of launch to gain ranking.
Let me back up one second and ask you a question about that first 30,000amonth then, because it makes sense.
We've talked about this privately. If I had a nickel for every time I had to repeat myself with people who are trying to build a physical products business and just told them stop trying to do so much and just get sales and reviews, you know, I'd have at least like 50 cents. Because I said, yeah, at least 10 times publicly.
Yeah.
But I, I personally talk less about that getting started phase and getting to that first 30k or so. So for the guy who is listening and is in your situation from a couple of years ago, who's got a product and has no idea how to kick this thing off. What were you doing to get that initial lift, to get to that 25 or 30,000amonth?
So the only thing I did was ask all my friends and family to leave a review. So if I met you in the streets and we had a conversation, I'll tell you, hey, if you want a free product, I'll give you one. If you don't, would you mind leaving me a review?
Cool.
So basically, I would have people pull up their phones and leave me reviews anytime I could. And secondly, we were doing launches, and with launches, you also get some reviews. Sorry. So you also get some reviews when you do a launch, or a blast, as we call it now. So this is all I did actually, to get reviews. Ask everybody I knew, which is exactly what you said. Like you said, you repeated this so many times. You know, I couldn't do anything else and not feel bad about it. So I only focused on asking my friends and family and doing launches on Facebook, which we also talked about before, and doing Zon Blast or any other services that provide launches.
If you could go back and you're at that $30,000 point, you come into the tribe, you're looking to scale up, would you have done anything differently?
No.
Why is that? Would you comment on that now?
The only thing I would do differently. So if you're trying to go from 0 to 30,000, no, I would not do anything differently. The only thing that I would emphasize is that you start building an email list as soon as you can. Because as I started getting the more advanced training with you, I realized, crap, I wish I had started collecting emails sooner because I would be making twice as much money. So if there is one thing, the simplest thing you can do is start collecting emails, and that takes no extra time, just the time to set it up.
Yeah, I don't talk about that publicly so much just because I. For fear of confusing people or making it too complex.
Yeah.
But as you know, the first thing we go through in the boot camp inside of the tribe when somebody has already got their business off the ground, is building out that email list. How to do it, why you should do it, how to orchestrate it. Because now we. I mean, just this week. Yes. Two days ago, you know, we run our own internal blasts now and do hundreds of units in hours and sometimes at a profit, rather than doing it, you know, for a dollar or two dollars and taking a big loss. And so you can be more aggressive. You can do upsells and Cross sells, you can get them into other types of offers. So I share in your sentiment.
Yes.
Now, I know that you are kind of making a pivot now, you know, we talked about it earlier that you're pivoting into a bigger brand before we talk about that brand and what it looks like and how you're scaling that. When did you know that you wanted to pivot out of a cash flow business? I ask this because I know your brand only has a handful of products.
Yep.
You're selling a million dollars a year. Probably going to get to 2 by the end of the year, which is great. Most people, most entrepreneurs, myself at times included, have a very hard time walking away from that and saying, thank you for what you've done for my life. I'm gonna go do something that makes me happy instead. Say instead, most entrepreneurs will say, I'm making a million. Now I gotta get it to five. Now I gotta get it to 10. Now I gotta get it to 50. And I wrestle with this sometimes myself. And I'm always curious what the heck went through your head when you decided a million dollars in sales is enough for me to say thank you, I'm gonna automate you and I'm gonna go do something else? Would you talk about that?
So sure. So the first time that idea came to mind was actually when you did a podcast on Freedom Fast Lane. You talked about the difference between a cash flow and a market disruptor business. And I really thought about my current brand, which is the cash flow brand. And I realized there is nothing. I don't want to blow this up to the point where I'm stuck and I can't go back because I'm so deep in it. So I decided, you know what, a million dollars is enough. It's paying for my bills at this moment. So I do plan to keep it growing, but I will hire someone else to do that. So it was exactly like you said. It is not an easy thing to say. Okay, I'm done. I want to just move on. But it's a sense of now. As you talked about my Disruptor brand, it's so exciting for us. Basically, there is. My relationship with my fiance has become. Now she wakes me up to tell me about something in the business. She was never an entrepreneur and I was very surprised how she's excited about it. And we have so much fun every day building that brand that, you know, we kind of got impatient. I could have taken that. I could have taken all the cash from the business and multiply, you know, grow 10, 20, 30 different products. But I decided to reinvest it in the second brand instead because that has really made me much happier to know that I'm not doing things. So if there's one thing I got from the cashflow brand is the peace of mind and the feeling that I can actually take control of what I do and how I feel in life. And I was, I didn't see, you know, me being too happy just building out that first brand just for cash.
Man, I think that is so refreshing. So I want to ask you kind of a weird question, Ralph. Did you or do you worry about money as you pivot away from the thing that has allowed you to be a full time entrepreneur and allowed you to think bigger and differently? Are you ever held back by a fear of it going away or a fear of. A fear of losing money or worrying about what's gonna happen next month?
It's always there. I think I heard it from someone before I started making a dime on the Internet that before you make the money, you're stressed out about not having any, but when you start making it, you'll still be stressed out about losing it. So that, that, that fear of, you know, basically waking up and that million dollar business is gone, you know, it's not. I'm not gonna be happy about it. Obviously this is still in the back of anyone's mind, but we're entrepreneurs, we take risks. I had to take a risk with my last dollars in order to get this business to succeed. So because I've seen this in my life, that the risk I've taken that had no sure path to success have rewarded me with the biggest successes. I realized that I can't stay here and try to be safe if I really want to build something great.
Yeah.
So I've taken that risk. And I know something bad could happen, but I'm not gonna let that stop me because at the end of the day, five years from now, I feel I would have looked back and so much more proud of what I've done?
Yeah. I like to say that the, the things that hurt only hurt for a short time. But when we hit it big, when those successes last, they last for a really long time. So I share in your sentiment. I've also noticed that the safety, the feeling of security only really comes when you start making income from investments or have your nest eggs.
Exactly.
Because. And that's why I emphasize so heavily, you make your money in business, you invest it elsewhere, and that's where you start to feel safe and freed up so that you can you feel more creative and more on point. So let's talk about your disruptor. So.
I love how simple you have kept everything up to this process in your cash flow business and identifying the opportunity, doing what it took in order to make some money, scaling it to the point where it allowed you to be free, and now you're structuring it so that you can go do what you want, which is this disruptor business. So I don't know how much you can tell us at this point because it's not launched yet, but at least tell me about the process of developing that company because I know it was a longer process, I know, I know it was a much longer period of getting the product ready, of preparing everything. So walk us through all of that.
So the process has taken. So first of all, we're going to start a company, we're launching it sometime in the next few weeks, which is beauty related, not yet going to say what the name is until we have completely everything ready. But we're in the beauty niche and we're going to be organic.
So what we've decided to do with this brand is actually do something that will make us feel fulfilled and something that mattered to us.
Us.
So my fiance, who's a vegan and really, really cared about having quality organic products in the house, has been playing around with different hair products, different skin care products, we've been eating organic. Watch really being. So what vegan has done for us is allow us to open our eyes to, wow, there's so much more to being healthy into this world. And therefore we thought, hey, why don't we do something to help the environment? Because at the end of the day, when we thought about what's the biggest problem that we could help solve at this moment, Climate change. If the planet can't support us, we won't be here to help any, any, any child in need. So we figured that this is a big problem. So we've decided we're going to be planting a tree for every product we sell. So this process is really exciting for us in building it out, building the partnership with the company that we're gonna work with to plant the trees. So the reason why it's taken a few months now to launch this product is because our first product is not that popular at the moment. So finding a supplier was actually pretty tough. A lot of people had to go get the equipment and they were not all willing to do that. So we finally found a supplier. So that is the reason why it's going much faster at this point.
Explain what you mean that the product wasn't popular, so it was hard to find a supplier. Can you elaborate on that?
Most suppliers in the beauty and skincare niche do not make the product we're launching. So our first product, we're gonna launch a lot of popular products the next few months, but our first, very first product that we're launching is not a product that 90, 95% of the suppliers or skincare in the beauty niche do not make it. So they don't have the equipment to make our this product that we want.
I see. So that's actually a similar story to what Mike Dillard shared on the podcast earlier when he has the same process. He hit about a hundred thousand a month, pivoted to building more of a disruptor company and there was nobody who made what he wanted to do. So he spent a million dollars developing a prototype. I'm guessing you did not spend a million dollars on a prototype. What were those costs when you were developing something that didn't exist yet?
Well, it cost us just about $30,000 for 2,000 units. So we're paying much more than we should at the moment. But as we grow, we hope to bring those costs down because we're basically.
The first customers from our supplier to actually make that product. So I understand that that's part of it, but because it is not that much of a popular product, we get to benefit from the low competition at the moment.
Tell me about the launch plan for this because.
Numbers are hard, as Sean Coyne and I like to say, but I think that breaks down to $15 per unit. So it's not like you can just go give away a whole bunch of these and hope that you set the world on fire. You're probably gonna have to be much more strategic. So yes. What is that strategic process for putting that company on the map?
So the process. So as we talked about earlier, Mike, I have a cash flow brand which, which provides the cash for me. So I am not in a to make money from this company. I really want to build something great and build it like a real company and honestly not plan to take any money from it for few years, honestly. So we're really investing in social media. So we've started building an Instagram following which we will launch to. We have thousands of followers at the moment. We're going to build out a Facebook page which we're gonna heavily invest in ads and getting likes and followers. And we're also already building our email list from our Instagram followers.
Perfect.
So.
We'Re gonna be ready. We're gonna see when we have quite a bit of engagement because of the way we've set up our Instagram. We have a lot of content and we've, we. So we, we've really done a lot of things to build some raving fans from the beginning.
Talk about that a little bit because, I mean, I am maybe the world's biggest proponent. And we hammer this into the students that go through our boot camp in the tribe that if you can launch to an audience either on social media or an email list or a Kickstarter, and we. Do you know how to do Kickstarter? If you can launch to an audience, then you hit the ground running from day one. And I mean, maybe the easiest way to do that would be to do what Sean and I did in our yoga brand and build up a small Facebook following and launch to them at the very least. Anybody can do that.
Yes.
So would you talk about how you created your plan to do that? How are you getting your fans to be engaged in that process so that you know that you can hit this ground running when it goes live?
Sure. So the first thing. So we've basically been building this, this following for. Since August of 2015. So it's been a few months now that we've been building it. And what we do on our page to actually make sure they stay engaged is we've really set up a nice layout. So we have a format that we want our page to follow. So very congruent colors. We don't just post pictures of products or whatever. We actually post good content, things that people will want to share with their family. And we're very specific in what we target. So if we're targeting somebody who really cares about the environment, that person is more likely to buy our product because that is what we stand for. So I think you recommended that book, Start with why and.
Absolutely.
This has changed the way we approach this business. So we're not targeting. And when we get to, as I said earlier, we're very eco friendly. So when we have our office, the people that we hire will not be the people with only the skills, but they will have to be basically our target customer in order to really believe in what we're doing. Because we're really going to lead with the why and really planting the trees and actually helping do anything to save the planet and help the environment. So we really target keywords on Instagram that those people are following the cause and have commented and are pretty Active. So we're not looking for volume here. We're looking for quality.
I 100% agree. If I can share this publicly, Ralph, you can tell me if you want me to edit this out, but we were talking about this before we started recording that. My girlfriend Esther's mom follows.
A blog about no waste, zero waste. And this blog has completely exploded. And she loves this blog and the girl who runs it. And.
Whenever she. She buys all of her products and I'm pretty sure they're that like, I'm gonna go broke if she keeps buying these products because it doesn't matter what it costs. It could be like an $80 laundry detergent, but there's no waste. So it's. I mean, she is the target market and she will pay for it. And in the same way, when I believe in a company, I will pay whatever price it is. You have almost infinite price inelasticity like you have. You are a price commander at that point rather than a price taker. And when you do that, when you have people buying into a why, you don't have to worry about who's competing with you or who's outranking you because you've got people who believe what you believe. And you can, you can. It's very hard to get somebody to unsubscribe from their own beliefs and you factor into their beliefs. So I 100% agree with your strategy or with that plan.
And that's a good point, because when you lead with the why and you have people that buy into your vision, all of a sudden competition doesn't exist. So a great book for this is actually called the Blue Ocean Strategy, which is a great book and I really want to thank you for. All the things I know about business today were from books that you recommended or from things you personally taught to me. So you know everything I know at this point. I really owe it to you.
Well, thanks, man.
You're welcome.
The man. Love is mutual.
Yeah.
I want to tactically break down the strategy a bit more in terms of that audience that you're building. So I get the overall high level concept. I think that's pretty self explanatory. But terms of the tactical piece. I know you're using Instagram, but how is it that you are. How is it that you're identifying who, who to target or what's your launch plan around that audience? Would you just walk us through a little bit more on the, on the actual implementation of how you're building that out?
So I am not an instagram expert. Those are things I learned from watching some courses, but they're pretty self explanatory. So if you're selling a yoga mat, let's say. So for example, we're selling beauty products and skincare products and we're looking for people who are very environmentally conscious. Therefore anybody who has used what's called the hashtag, let's say climate change or eco friendly or anybody that has posted anything to do with those hashtags, those are the people we target because we know they are in, they live that lifestyle that we live and therefore they want to buy the products we're selling. So we're providing a product that not only.
Supports the environment, which they care very much about, but they most likely by being vegan, because vegans are actually going to be a very big part of our target market. They care about what they put on their body. And we're selling organic products, we're not. So this is everything they want. So by knowing exactly who our target market is, we know what they're posting and what they're posting. They usually use what's called the hashtags on social media. Therefore we go to those hashtags and we find the people that we want to target and we comment on their pictures. We hashtag our own pictures using the same hashtags our target market is using. Therefore when they see our post, they say, hey, this is cool. People are actually writing us and saying, hey, when is this product launching? Because we've started building this for a few months now. And so we expected to launch way before December 2015. And people have actually written us and said, hey, I really want to be a brand ambassador for your business. When are you launching? Some people are saying, hey, when is your product launching? So I can buy it. And we've actually, we're planning to do some contestants, so the person who actually hashtags or does some kind of thing. So we're gonna launch any type of contest for people to win. And thanks to your recommendation, one of our future projects is to actually offer some services. So maybe spa. You win a spot your own home using our products. So we'll send them a Seuss or somebody to do a facial for you at your house if you win the contest. So those are some of the high level things we're planning to do, you know, all because we have control of our social media.
You are, you are speaking my language now, Mr. Klutzka. That is exciting.
Yep.
So it sounds to me like you're not too worried about overall size of the audience, but more responsiveness of the audience. So what, what, at what point do you feel like the audience is big enough in order to make a splash when you launch and then what is your launch plan?
So the, the way you measure responsiveness on, on social media is by how many people like or comment. And right now we're getting almost 20% response when we actually ask for anything to do with, you know, let us know what you think about this or you know, exactly what you recommended. We asked what colors, what scents would you like to see and we get quite a bit of a response. So honestly, I don't, I don't.
Know how much response we're gonna get, but we're definitely gonna make the offer attractive enough for us to be able to. Within, within three months, I believe we'll have enough people to actually not have to use any paid services to launch our products. That's because our target market is very responsive and we're not, we don't even have to sell our product because they're searching for it.
Yeah.
So especially. Yeah, I don't, I don't know what.
People talking about it on social too. If you just do that, they'll do all the marketing in the world world for you.
Yes. And we plan to do a lot of brand ambassadors also.
Everything that you teach.
Yeah. I love your plan, Ralph. What I'd kind of like to do is you've stroked my ego quite a bit in this and I appreciate it. But I'd like for you to hit what you think. I mean, a year from now you're probably gonna have 2 million dollar businesses, which is pretty exciting. What do you think have been the biggest takeaways or the biggest leverage points on both businesses, Meaning the person who's building that disruptor, the person who is pivoting, the person who's got a business is taking some sales, but they need to grow it in order to really be free. What things have you done or have you learned from your readings from our teachings from the tribe? What things would you say have made the biggest difference in either business or that you project will make the biggest difference? So that if somebody were to take that one thing and focus on where they were going forward, where would you recommend that they put their energy?
So whatever business you're in, really identify what the 20% that will make 80% of the results are. So I don't want to speak too much about Amazon, but on Amazon that was reviews and sales. If you're doing regular E commerce to your website, then Figure out what it is that's actually bringing 20, 80% of your sales and just do more of that and forget about everything else, because that is the one thing that got me from 0 to 1 million. Now, the one thing, as I pivot, that I realize I need to do now is hire faster on my new brand because I did everything myself. I only have one person after a year and a little over a year, I only have one person that's doing customer service. And it is an attachment. It's hard to let go of your business and hire somebody and see all the profits go into somebody else's hands. Yes. But if your plan is to grow any further, you have to not think about the profits as your own. And this has been a really big part for me to not. I don't take much salary anyways. But it is tough to think, okay, all the profits that could go into launching this new product, I'm gonna have to pay somebody else to do it. But that's gonna, you know, we all get that, that, that attachment to our profits. And I've really learned not to get that attachment on my second brand and hired, you know, designer. I've started gathering designers.
Digital marketers that will be working with me.
Good.
So that will, I believe, help us hit $2 million within the first 12 months, using everything I've learned and teaching everything I've learned to someone else. So one of the bigger takeaways from building the Market Disruptor is that someone said if you can find someone who can do your job 80% as well as you can, hire them to do it and give them time until they can actually do it as good as you, because it's gonna save you so much time.
Ralph, I want to conclude by talking a little bit about the tribe, because you have gone from somebody who just.
Came to our Google hangouts when we had them, to being one of our instructors, to now being one of our trainers for those who are still scaling up to that hundred thousand a month mark. And you're in the mastermind now. I'd like for you to share a little bit about what you do inside of the tribe, what our calls look like, what if you have any cool stories from people that you've helped on our calls, I'd like to talk about them, but I mean, I could talk about it and it would be, you know, people have heard it before, but I'd, I'd really appreciate if you'd share a little bit about what you do inside of the tribe and, and what kind of is going on in there.
So. Well, what I do personally is I have created the training along with Clement.
Basically. So the tribe, as some people know, is for people who have a business to come in and learn everything and get the connections and get the funding. Basically anything you might need in your business, you can find it in the tribe. So that's what the tribe is mostly about. But if you don't have a business, what I do, this is where I come in. I have created the training with Clement and I also do bi weekly coaching sessions live on a webinar. So every two weeks, people who are at the zero dollar level, we get on a call and we talk zero to 100 grand.
I just want to mention, yeah, people are doing just fine.
Yes, exactly. We had that talk yesterday, actually. Some people are actually doing very well. They come in to get extra ideas and tips. So they all get their different trainings for different levels in your business, in the tribe. So what I do is I basically talk to everyone about what is working in their businesses, what they want to accomplish and how we can help them. So it's not only me answering questions once in a while. If somebody else has a better input, I ask everybody else. So it's almost like a mastermind going on. Not exactly a coaching session, but it's almost like a mastermind where people come and they say what their challenges are and they get answers from me or someone else. So this is where we at at this moment. I'm sure you have bigger plans. I don't know if you want to talk about them yourselves for the tribe and where it's heading. Oh yeah, this is where we at.
Well, of course, I mean, I mean as of right now, if you don't have a business, you go through the training that Ralph and Clement put together and then they do coaching calls for those people to get to the level where then they're working through our boot camp, which is for people who are, are already successful and then looking to scale their business and then they get on coaching calls with me personally. And so we get people all the way from zero to that $10 million point and then hopefully beyond. But we're working on inroads with Walmart and Sam's Club and retailers where people can. We're leveraging our relationships there and we're creating, we're creating some additional courses that'll bring in interesting partnerships for people. So of course we've always got things that we're wanting to build, but what we have right now is pretty exciting. So Ralph Yeah, I have said this publicly. I'll say it again. Your story is one of my favorites, if not my favorite. Congratulations on all you've done. Keep up the hard work, keep on changing the world. I love what you are doing with both businesses. Congratulations, my man and thanks for hanging out with us on Freedom Fast Lane.
Thank you for having me. Thank you.
I am so proud of Ralph. I am so proud of all of the success stories inside of the tribe and they are numerous that sound a lot like Ralph's. And one of the cool things, one of the most important things that I want you to take from this is the fact that Ralph kept it really simple. He focused on what those things were that would produce more revenue, produce more growth. I have to continually remind myself this. I tend to overcomplicate things. I get in my own head. And we do that because inside of our tribe incubator, that is where we build and help entrepreneurs build companies that change their lives, change their family's lives and change the world.
