This is a year-end episode (Dec 31, 2015) in which Ryan Daniel Moran reviews his 2015 predictions and issues bold forecasts for 2016. Core themes: consolidation and maturation on Amazon (expect VC/funds entering, crackdown on scammers, higher-priced product opportunity); growth of information products and app monetization but slower mainstream adoption; entrepreneur strategies shifting toward partnering with existing online audiences/influencers and building outside-Amazon channels; predictions on politics (Rubio to win GOP nomination, Hillary to win presidency; specific running-mate picks), economy (expecting a recession and Dow ≈15,000 by end of 2016), and technology (3D printing and VR adoption). He also outlines expansion plans for his Freedom Fast Lane "Tribe" platform and events.

What's up, fastlaners? Welcome to the special year end edition of Freedom Fast Lane. Today we're going to go out on some limbs, we're going to make some bold predictions for 2016, and we're going to recap which of my psychic predictions came true in 2015 and which ones did I get completely wrong. As it is a yearly tradition, I am drinking a scotch while I am doing my year end year in review. I don't know if that was a tradition up until this point, but a tradition's got to start somewhere, right? And so we might get even more bold by the end of this podcast because I'm an unbelievable lightweight. So stick with me as we recap 2015 and we go into 2016. Happy New Year, everybody. 2015 brought us its set of challenges, its set of opportunities for some of us. Some sleepless nights because we're new dads. I predict in 2016 I'll get my sleep schedule back on track. If you're a parent and you know that isn't true, do not email me that. Do not tell me my sleep schedule is not going to get on track. My sleep schedule is going to get back on track. My fitness is back on track. Sleep schedule comes next. In 2015, we saw lots of opportunities in Amazon. We saw in other markets, we saw some new traffic channels open up. So at the end of 2014, I made some predictions of what the world would look like and what would happen in each of the key areas, baseball included, obviously, and what new opportunities might open up. So before we go into the predictions for 2016, let's recap how I did in 2015. Let's start with physical products, entrepreneurship and Amazon.com so I predicted very boldly in 2014 that there would be a major market consolidation on Amazon.com and that the little guys would get squeezed out by September of 2015. This certainly happened, but not nearly as severely as I had imagined or I had predicted. I thought very sincerely that by 2000, by September of 2015, that a lot of big companies would have moved into Amazon and then it would be much, much harder for solopreneurs to make a big splash on Amazon because there'd be a lot of VC money, there would be a lot of major players in the Amazon space, and that didn't really happen. I mean, it did consolidate because you have the winners have won. The people who got in early own a lot of the market, but there's still plenty of opportunity there and there is plenty of new people coming in. All the time and secret between you and me, things like Zonblast work better than ever because less people are using them. So there's, there's certain opportunities now that are still open as a result of some people being filtering, filtered out of the market, some consolidation happening. There's less players, but people have won. So the big markets are kind of owned by big players. So it happened. But the thing that I thought would happen that didn't happen, that I'm going to predict for 2016 is for outside big companies like funds and venture capitalists and major companies to move into Amazon.com and make it a focus. That's what I thought was really going to move the consolidation and that did not happen. We just had the winners win and some losers get filtered out of the marketplace. I think you'll see the second part of the consolidation move forward in 2016 where you have those venture capitalists and well funded companies come in and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on launching products in the marketplace in order to bully everybody else out of the way. That's what I think you'll see happen. I also think you will see a different type of consolidation where a lot of the process for launching a product is going to become more sophisticated in the sense of I think you'll see a lot less of the big blast services and I think it'll be more targeted enterprise level type of launch processes that you see. In other words, I think you'll have some launch firms go enterprise level and focus just on those people who have the biggest dollars because everybody else is going to kind of get weeded out unless you come to the table willing to play. There is some additional good news to my prediction of 2016. I think you're going to see an opposite consolidation towards the favor of higher priced products in 2016. In 2015 we saw a lot of a race to the bottom when to physical products, especially on Amazon.com you saw people lowering prices and lowering them further and further and further and people got squeezed out. That's part of a consolidation. But sometimes a response to a consolidation is for people who have the highest price products to now be sexy again because they stand out while everybody else is running to the bottom. So I think you will see a reverse consolidation in that sense where expensive products become the new thing on Amazon. And that's what I think you'll see in 2016. Last year I also predicted that inventions would hit Amazon. And by this I meant that unique products. I think the example I used was the GoPro camera things that were reinventions of a popular item would get cool on Amazon and people would launch there. This did not happen. Amazon pretty much stuck to its core competency in private labelers and big companies and it did not become a place for invention. So I got this one way wrong. I predicted that physical products owners would primarily focus on how do they get off of Amazon and they would look to new channels in order to diversify. That happened, but people weren't very successful at it. So this became all of the hot news in the tribe and our masterminds and at the big conferences, but people weren't very good at it. This still is kind of waiting to happen. It's still a primary focus. So I got that part right, that it would be a primary focus of physical products owners, but not a lot of people were very successful with it. And the reason for this is because my last prediction on this topic also did not happen. And I predicted that email marketing would become heavily used by physical products owners. This didn't happen and I don't understand why. I focus on this extremely heavily in our next level conferences where we work with people who are at the million dollar level and get them to scale far beyond that. If you're at that level, you need to be at this workshop. It's@freedomfastlighting.com next. We're upgrading it in 2016 and it's going to be even more spectacular. Those who have gone through that workshop, they have only used email marketing and they grow a lot as a result of it. This did not get into the mainstream. I don't understand why. I do not for the life of me understand why physical products owners and Amazon sellers do not have a more focused effort on marketing to their customers off of Amazon, getting their data, building up large social media presences, getting their email addresses and having follow up sequences to promote their other products. I don't get it. For the most part, people are still just trying to game the system. It's like people are refusing to graduate third grade. I don't get it. I don't understand it and I'm not even sure that it's going to happen in 2016 because I really think that these types of entrepreneurs would have matured by now. But I will tell you this. Those who get it, those who get it right are going to just clean up in 2016 because there is kind of this breaking point to this tipping point happening in the physical products world right now where you have winners winning, losers losing. And some people are growing up and some people are throwing a fit that it's not easy anymore. And I think you're gonna see that that continue to divide and you will see those who get it really start to get it in 2016, and those who don't, won't. So I think you'll see the successful business owners turn to email marketing and social media and operate like a big company. I think you're going to see a massive improvement, a massive maturation of existing business owners. But I'm not so sure that the things that really work extremely well, that we use all the time, that we teach at the next level and we talk about in our masterminds, I don't know that that's going to get in the mainstream. I don't know that you can make that sexy again. I think you can make what's new and hot sexy. I'm not sure that you can bring back old marketing tricks and call them sexy again. So I don't know. I think so. To summarize this and to make this coherent, I think you'll see successful business owners really mature in 2016, where they get systems in place, they follow up with their customers, they have other channels in place, they get into retail. I did not see that happen in 2015, and it shocked me. But I think you'll see the success, the people who are already successful move in that direction. Whereas I predicted that email marketing would become really hot in selling physical products, it didn't. Social media would be hot. It really didn't change all that much in terms of Amazon sellers and physical product sellers. And I don't think that's gonna happen. I think you'll just see the people who are really being successful start to utilize that and mature, but you won't really hear about it. You'll just see those companies growing. So I got some of those right and some of those I got completely wrong in my predictions for 2015. Let's talk about the outside business world. Outside of of Amazon and outside of physical products, I predicted that there would be a great app business boom in 2015. I thought that people would move away from physical products and go digital. So I thought two things would happen. One, that apps would be a huge market and I thought that there would be a huge return of information products for new entrepreneurs, meaning that new entrepreneurs would focus heavily on information products and apps. The apps part sort of happened and the information products part happened, but not to the extent that I thought it would. So I thought that apps would be huge in 2016 as far as creating them. It Sort of happened, but more on an NFL enterprise level. You saw gaming get a lot bigger in 2015. You saw the monetization of apps get a lot better in 2015, but I didn't hear a whole lot of new entrepreneurs entering that space. However, in the information products world, there was a slight boom and it's a snowball that's building. I thought that it would really mature in 2015. It just got started in 2015 and I think you'll see it continue to mature in 2015, 16 and 17, but differently than I had expected. So I thought that information products would become. The new thing.
Began. There were some product launches. Danny Enie had a huge launch on information products. Onyx and Gall had a launch on information products, I think, and I think it was the biggest in the industry's history.
The. The guys at ClickBank started to come back. ClickBank starting to be cool again. They're all corporate Y and stuff now, but they're starting to come back roots and make it cool for new entrepreneurs to be on there. So that's starting to kick off again. So it began, but it didn't mature like I thought it would. We might see a maturation of that in 2016, but I'm surprised that it didn't already happen. So I give myself, I guess a 6 or a 7 out of 10 on the app and information products predictions. Moving out of the business world. I predicted that brain hacking for productivity and that nootropics would both become huge in 2015, 2015, that they would hit mass appeal. There might be even some FDA regulation on those. The brain hacking and the body hacking for productivity. I'm gonna say I got right. Everybody I know is following my lead on a keto diet. I feel better than I've ever felt in my life. I've had stomach problems my entire life until I went keto. And now I feel the best I've ever felt. I'm in the best shape of my life. A lot of my team members and friends are going that direction. If they. If not for health than for productivity. Tim Ferriss talks a lot about ketosis now. So brain hacking and for productivity did kind of get big. Nootropics seem to have died a bit, which surprised me. I thought they would burst onto the scene and that there would just be a huge. A huge up leveling of taking nootropics in 2015 and kind of seems about the same as 2014, maybe even regressed a bit. So I give myself an X. I did not get that prediction right. I also said that there would be a legitimization or a legitimizing, whichever is correct. On alternative medicine. I am biased. I live in Austin, Texas. This is huge here. From my perspective, my world has completely adopted it. Gluten free diets are now mainstream. My doctor, my MD doctor is, goes a lot into.
Is very into. I won't call them alternative, but more natural ways of healing. There's a lot of things have been adopted in this world. So I think I got this right. But I live in a world that eats that up. So I'm not really sure what the rest of the world thinks about that. But when even my mom is talking about gluten free and certain supplements that I've been aware of for a while now, I think that natural medicine is starting to make its place permanent in the world. I predicted that intentional communities would be huge in 2015. I think I got this one spot on. The Tiny house movement is huge now. Co working spaces are mainstream. The idea of moving away from being alone and isolated behind a computer is. I mean people are realizing how dangerous that is for your health. And I think we are going to continue to see that trend progress and mature. In 2016, I saw a, I think it was a TED Talk that talked about how the number one contributing factor to you living over a hundred years old is a close group of friends that you've been with for decades, you've been friends with for decades. And, and gosh, we're lonelier than ever. But the tiny House movement, the co working movement, I think will continue to move and progress forward as we desperately seek real connections with people. And that happened. I got that one spot on and I think we'll see that continue. As I was going through my old predictions to prepare for this episode, I was shocked at how accurate I was with my political predictions. Although I did not see Donald Trump coming. I have a fun story about that which I will tell you in a second. I predicted that the Republican nomination process would be a complete wide open west and that there would be a scrambling for attention. That has certainly happened. I predicted that the Tea Party candidates who were very anti establishment would be very hot at the beginning, but then there would be a consolidation around more mainstream establishment candidates. That was spot on. It certainly happened, but not in the way that I imagined. I didn't see Donald Trump coming. In fact, early in 2015, I inquired to have Ivanka Trump speak at Freedom Fast Lane Live and I was. I love Ivanka Trump. I think she's just one of the most fascinating people alive. And she was worth a hundred million dollars. But she was, by the time she was 30, she grew up with no limits. I think she's a fascinating human being. And I was speaking with a booking agent about getting her to speak at Freedom Fast Lane and we joked, we said, oh, we'll be able to get her as long as her daddy doesn't run for president.
That would be hilarious. Yeah, I totally, I totally got that one wrong. I totally thought, first of all that he wouldn't run, and second of all that he'd be a non factor. And I was obviously wrong on this one. But you did see the Republican, the Republican voters rally around anti establishment candidates right now. The leading candidates are Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and Ben Carson. We're recording this at the end of December 2015. And those are the leading candidates right now. And those are all anti establishment candidates. I think I will be vindicated when it comes time to vote and that an establishment candidate will be nominated. I predicted that it would be Bush or Rubio, and I think that I will be vindicated by that. I do think it will be one of those two. When it comes time to actually vote. I'm calling Rubio. I think you can put Rubio on black in Vegas and put your life savings there. I am absolutely convinced that Marco Rubio will be the nominee the Republican Party in 2016, which in my opinion is horrible because I think he's a terrible candidate. But I think that he will be the nominee in 2016 and he will be up against Hillary Clinton. I'm actually more nervous about my prediction that it will be Hillary than I am about Rubio. I'd put my life savings on Rubio at this point. All you have to do is get hot at the right time. He's going to win South Carolina, he's going to win Florida because he's from Florida. And then he's going to steamroll the rest of the election. The Republican establishment is going to have to consolidate around somebody and they're gonna pick somebody who attracts both Tea Party people and establishment people, and that's Rubio. And I'm very confident in that. But I'm, I'm less confident in my pick for Hillary in 2016. I, I think, I think I would not be shocked if it was Sanders. I think whoever it is, whether it's Sanders or it's Clinton, I think the Democrats will win in 2016. And I'll even go out on a limb and say that there'll be a one term president I think you're gonna see a Democrat win and that there'll be a one term president. And I will cover why when I go into my predictions for 2016, which involve an even greater anti establishment movement, begin in 2016, I predicted that negative campaigns will lessen in 2015. That has absolutely happened. We'll see what happens in 2016. But there's been almost no negative ads. On the Democratic side, everybody's played really nice. And on the Republican side, everybody's so afraid of Trump that there are no negative ads. So I got this one right. I'm actually surprised I got this one right. And I'm interested to see what happens in 2016. But I think the candidates are mostly gonna play nice. I think the era of mudslinging in politics is gonna lessen in 2016 because people read right through it. Now. I predicted that the economy would be flat in 2015. I nailed this one. I said that the stock market would be slightly less than what it was at the end of 2014. We closed 2014 at 18,000. On the Dow. In 2015, we are closing at about 17,500. We still have a couple of days to go as I record this. But it looks right now that I, I nailed this one and we're seeing a major slowdown and we were mostly flat in 2015. And I'll go over my predictions for what's gonna happen in 2016 here in a minute. Very briefly, I was so wrong on baseball. I predicted that the World Series would be the Angels versus the Dodgers with the Angels beating the Dodgers. I did not get that right. It was the Mets versus the Royals. I didn't even think the Royals would make the playoffs. So I got this one wrong. And the Angels and the Dodgers both had very good years. The Dodgers had a phenomenal year, but neither one made it to the World Series. I also predicted that my Indians would be a wild card finisher, but they were. They were in the running. They ended with a winning record, but they did not make the playoffs. So in 2015, I did all right. Some of my predictions came true, some of them not so much. But overall, kind of impressed with my predictions for 2015. Let's roll into my big bold predictions for 2016. All right, so let's start with physical products and Amazon.com what's going to happen on that side. I think that, to reiterate, I think that investment funds, venture capitalists and big companies are finally going to move into Amazon in 2016. I think it's gonna happen quieter than I once expected. But I think you're gonna see big, well backed companies move into Amazon and take advantage of that marketplace just like they did in Walmart decades ago. Amazon is the new Walmart and I think you're going to see big companies move on to there. And I think they'll also start to look@jet.com I think Jet.com will become somewhat of a major player. They won't overtake Amazon, but I think they're in the best position to become a strong number two in terms of digital or E commerce. So I think Jet.com will become a player, but they won't even nip at Amazon's heels. I just think they'll become a solid number two. The biggest opportunity online right now, the biggest for a new entrepreneur, an existing entrepreneur. I don't care who you are. At Freedom Fastlane Live, Gary Vaynerchuk called it white space. Where's the gap? Where is media so cheap that you can't help but take advantage of it right now? Well, the biggest opportunity right now, the biggest white space, is working with people who already have audiences online. It's looking at Instagram stars who have hundreds of thousands of followers. It's bloggers who aren't monetizing. Well, that is the biggest opportunity in Internet entrepreneurship right now. That has to become a factor in 2016. If it doesn't become a factor, either people don't deserve to be rich or.
People just overlooked the opportunity. I mean, it is just staring us in the face right now of all of these eyeballs. Can you believe the amount of celebrity that exists right now on the Internet? With Snapchat, with Instagram, Facebook followings, blogging is easier than ever. It's easier than ever to make stuff go viral. Everyone's famous for 10 minutes. The followings are huge. They're huge. And there's so many of them, and so many of them are so bad at monetizing. So there's all these places where these eyeballs exist. People are taking advantage of them. 2016 has to be the year that entrepreneurs get this. And I am going to be pushing for this in 2016. It's going to become a major part of our training inside of the tribe, a major part of our training in the tribe. We already talk about it at the next level, but it's going to become a major part of our training moving forward in the tribe, utilizing those audiences, partnering with those audiences. We're even working on a platform to partner people with those audiences, with people who have products so that a Marriage occurs and magic happens. I believe that strongly that has become a central part of where we're going in 2016. I'm going to very boldly predict that 2016 is the year that Amazon finally gets their stuff together. I think this is finally the year that they crack down on scammers and Black Hatters. I think you're going to see a massive amount of people kicked off of Amazon in 2016. I think this is the year that it has its, it has its panda in the Google SEO world. I think we're gonna have the major correction in Amazon where they kick off a bunch of people who aren't playing by the rules. If you're playing by the rules, you're fine. But I think they're gonna really finally kick off the scammers. It was big news in 2015 when they sued fiverr.com I think you're gonna see the same thing happen in 2016 where Amazon starts to sue Black Hatters and kick people off of their platform.
I think that the world of Internet entrepreneurship is going to go back to the process of inventing new products, getting a core group of followers like on Kickstarter or building up their own audience, or even better, partnering with people who already have audiences, which is going to be the focus of the tribe. I think inventing new products, getting it out to audiences and doing good old fashioned advertising is going to be the new wave in 2016. Whether it's an information product or it is a physical product or an app, I think that is, that's the strategy that has always worked. And I think people are going to finally rally behind that idea of inventing something of immense value, getting an audience behind it, running good old fashioned advertising to it in order to grow it. I think you're going to see a major maturation of the Internet entrepreneur in 2016. Outside of the physical products world or the Amazon world, I think it's going to be cool to bring investment dollars to the Internet again. I think the idea of buying Internet businesses, buying Amazon businesses is going to be very big in 2016. I predicted it in my YouTube video where I talked about our sale of our business when we sold Zenective Sports. I think that it's gonna finally hit the scene in 2016 where people are selling physical products, businesses like they sold websites back in 2009. I think that is going to become cool and I think you're going to see a lot of outside investor money want to pour into digital businesses, Internet businesses. And I think that is going to see A major increase in 2016. I mean, look, the stock market was flat this year and it was flat with zero percent interest rates. They finally raised interest rates to a whopping quarter of a percent a couple of weeks ago.
And the market didn't move. So I think that investors are going to get frustrated with the stock market, frustrated with mutual funds, and they're going to move their money into where's the greatest ROI into these digital Internet businesses that are growing by leaps and bounds. By the way, that also is a major point of the tribe, bringing investors to the table and getting them to fund Internet businesses. So I think you're going to see that enter into the mainstream investors coming into place. By the way, you know, I've never really talked about publicly what we're doing with the tribe. I did tease it at Freedom Fast Lane Live. But let me give you, let me give you a 30 second overview. There are basically three types of entrepreneurs. There are people with ideas, there are marketers, and there are investors. We are building a new platform in 2016. It will be launching in January, late January, that exists to partner those three types of people. So someone could come to the table with an idea or a product or a business that's already taking sales, get partnered with marketers, people who have hundreds of thousands of YouTube followers, people who have hundreds of thousands of Instagram eyeballs, people who have blogs and email lists so they can distribute their products out really quickly and then partner with investors will fund the whole thing. So if you don't have money for inventory, somebody brings 100 grand to the table and partners you up with a marketer who can get you eyeballs and you continue to run and grow your business as the entrepreneur. That's what we're doing inside of the tribe. So we're releasing some new trainings that are going to be free for tribe members. We're creating new, a new platform to facilitate relationships. We're creating events and local chapters in order to encourage people to meet up in person and make business deals happen. We've been very quietly working on what I think is the most spectacular platform for entrepreneurs that the Internet has ever seen. And if you're listening to this and you know what the tribe is, you've heard me talk about that in the past, you're going to want to be a part of this. And we have our launch price set in January and I don't know why I didn't double it. It's so underpriced. It's going to be phenomenal. And there's my little teaser and selfish, selfish pitch for 2016. All right, let's move on. Let's talk about some other predictions for 2016. I think it's time for 3D printing and virtual reality to start make making a bit of a splash in 2016. I'm actually already surprised that Xbox and PlayStation don't have more virtual reality built into their existing gaming systems. I'm surprised that Apple doesn't have more integrated with their iPhones. And I think you're gonna see more virtual reality hit the market. And I think 3D printing is gonna become bigger. I wonder if by the end of 2016, if people aren't holding 3D printers in their homes, not everybody but the early adopters, 5% of the population might have a 3D printer in their home. I'm surprised that hasn't already happened, but I would. I think there's going to be Some movement in 2016 towards the adoption of 3D printing and in virtual reality, that might simply be, you know, a new device that you hook up to your Xbox so you can be in the game rather than watching the game. Almost like the screen is on your face. You're playing Call of Duty. You have a. You're wearing a mask that has you in the game rather than, you know, playing it on TV or on your. On your iPhone if there isn't something that allows you to interact more closely with people when you're using ichat or Skype or something. So I'm surprised that doesn't already exist. And I think 2016 might be the time that we see it. Let's talk about politics. Hey, it is an election year. You're gonna hear me talk about politics. It's just gonna happen. I think Rubio obviously wins the GOP nomination in 2016. I think he chooses Carly Fiorina as his running mate. He has to. It'd be silly not to. He has to have a woman go after Hillary. And if Hillary doesn't win, he has to have a woman get the woman vote. And he also has to have somebody from the private sector. He has to have an outsider. He can't pick Trump. He's got to pick somebody who's perceived as an outsider. It's gonna be Carly. He's gonna need a strong person, a strong outsider who can go against Hillary. It can't be a domineering man. It has to be Carly Fiorina. She has business experience. She's tough, she's well spoken. She's going to be the vice presidential nominee. So it's going to be Rubio and Fiorina on the Republican side in 2016. I think I am nervous to pick Hillary, but I think it's going to be Hillary. But I think Bernie could sneak in there. I think, I think though, if I'm, if I'm a betting man, I put my money on Hillary. She wins in 2016 and she chooses Cory Booker as her vice presidential partner on the ticket in 2016. So it's going to be Rubio, Fiorina against Clinton, Booker in 2016. That's what it's going to be. That's who the election is going to be between. And it's going to be Hillary winning. And the reason she wins is not because people rally behind Hillary, but because you see just an overall interest in a push towards being more anti establishment and it's going to divide the Republican Party even more. So I don't think Trump is going to run third party, but I can see the Libertarians picking up more votes. I can see a third party run from, from one of the other candidates picking up some steam and them getting 5 to 10% of the vote enough to swing it towards Hillary. I think people are gonna hold their nose and vote for Hillary and that she's gonna be a one termer. So people are just gonna be not excited by Rubio. I think he'll win all of the debates. I think he'll look like maybe even the front runner. But I think you're gonna see some other alternative get enough of the. You're gonna have a Ralph Nader in 2016 pick up 5 to 10% of the vote, enough to take it away from Rubio, have Hillary win, and that she'll be a one term president. I think you're gonna have an even stronger anti establishment movement in 2016. And by this I mean there is a movement right now towards government being the solution for our problems. Capitalism becoming a dirty word, entrepreneurship becoming kind of a dirty word. And I think you're finally gonna see people push back against this. It's cute right now to pretend like rich people are evil and that the government solves all of our problems. I think you're going to see an establishment person win in 2016 and that the trends start to move away from establishment and become even more anti establishment. And people realize that the way we solve our problems is through more entrepreneurs, not through more government. That empowered individuals are how we solve the world's greatest challenges, not through empowered governments. I will lead this charge if no one else does. We are at a tipping point in this world where we are either going to go major establishment or we are going to go the empowerment of the individual. I think the time has come to empower individuals to solve the world's greatest problems. If we look at what governments have done over the last 30 years to solve climate change or to be to be more green, they've done little to nothing. But Elon Musk has done a whole hell of a lot in just a couple of years. You will see the empowerment of entrepreneurship and capitalism begin in 2016. It will not mature. It will only begin. And it will begin in late 2016. Mark my words. I will lead this charge. You are going to see a change in my message in 2016 as I get quiet and think about what is my core mission and my core message. It is less about here's how you start a business and it is more about empowering individuals and entrepreneurs to make significant impacts in the world. And part of that is recruiting as many entrepreneurs as possible, but it is empowering them to make a great change in the world and changing the world's biggest problems. And you'll see that trend to begin, if nowhere else. You will hear it on freedom fast lane. Let's talk about the economy in 2016 because I think this is going to be a very interesting year when it comes to the market and economics. So this year, first of all, let's put this into context. This year the whole economy was flat and that was was with 0% interest rates. And the entire stock market was basically waiting to see what the Fed would do. That's very, very dangerous ground. When the Fed's at 0% interest rates, which has no precedent, that has never happened before. And we did it for eight years. Eight years we had zero percent interest rates. And even while we did that, the economy was flat in 2015. So I think flat and even came down a little bit towards the end of the year. So I think it's just obvious that we're going to have a major slowdown in 2016. I think it's very likely that we have another recession in 2016. I am not in line with the bears who think it's going to be this global meltdown. I don't share that opinion, but I do think that we're going to hit a slowdown and a recession. I'm going to predict a Dow of 15,000 by the end of the year, which is a pullback of about 20% or so. So I think we're going to have a 3,000 point pullback. Will be at about 15,000 at the end of 2016. And I think we will obviously be in another recession. And I think that will have implications in the election. But I still think Hillary is going to win. And I think that is also going to be one of the reasons why we start to see a push back to an anti establishment mentality, even more so than what we have now. So I don't think it's going to be as severe as a lot of the talking heads or even what Robert Kiyosaki talks about. But I do think that we're going to have another recession and a major pullback in the markets. You have to, I mean, guys, let's look, look at basic economics here. When interest rates are artificially low, when there's still not a boom and then we start to raise them. The Fed just raised them a couple weeks ago and we finally have some upward momentum with interest rates, but they're still super low.
I think that bubble has to burst now because there's all this mal investment. Quick rant for a second. The big argument about the gap between the rich and the poor is because of the interest rates that we have. Interest rates are supposed to be market driven. They're not supposed to be dictated by government or by Federal Reserves. So when you have artificially low interest rates, that hurts the poor because you encourage them to get into more debt. But it helps the rich because they get to borrow at artificially low interest rates and make investments. And then when the bubble bursts, rich people don't pay that bill.
You don't have big banks pay that bill, they get bailed out. So it is, it is the government and the Federal Reserve's fault why we have an increasing gap between the rich and the poor and yet it's being blamed on capitalism. I hope that you will see people wake up to that fact when we have another pullback in 2016. Let's talk about baseball, obviously for a second. In AL East, I take the Yankees in the AL Central, I'll take the White Sox. In the West, I will take the Astros in the wild card game, I'm going to predict that it is The Red Sox vs. Either the Tigers or the Twins. I am undecided on these. I lean Tigers. But it's going to be either the Tigers or the Twins. So I take the Yankees, the White Sox, the Astros. And the wild card being the Red Sox and the Tigers or the Twins in the National League. In the East, I will take the Nationals. In the Central, I'll take the Cubs in the West. I'll take the Dodgers with the wild card being the Mets versus The Cardinals. So that's the Nationals, the Cubs, the Dodgers with the wild card being the Mets versus The Cardinals in the World Series. This is a big prediction. I'm gonna take the Astros losing to the Chicago Cubs. The Cubs finally end the drought in 2016 with a win over the Houston Astros and I think the Indians are going to just miss the wild card. They will be about an 86 or 87 win team, but they will not make the playoffs and my heart will break once again. 2016 let's talk about what's on the horizon in 2016 for Freedom Fast Lane. You know, we've been kind of under the radar in 2015. We've been slowly but very quietly building a bit of an empire here in the office in Austin, Texas. And let me tell you a little bit about what's on the horizon. First of all, we are launching the Tribe to the public in 2016. This is not going to be just a training members area for physical products owners. It will be that we'll be training new entrepreneurs. I believe entrepreneurs are the solution to the world's problems and we need as many of them as we can get. But it's more than that. Way more than that. What we are doing is we are basically incubating businesses combined with marketers who have followings and combining them with funding and getting them out into the world very quickly. We are creating a system to create businesses and get more work done in three days than would normally get done in three years. Because if someone brings an idea to the table, we can get it out to the world and we can get it funded very, very quickly. With my team leading the charge, we can change the world with businesses and that's what our primary focus is on 2016. We also are doing a tremendous amount to get our message out into the mainstream. We are spending a lot of money and bringing in new people in order to get our message. Our podcast and the new podcasts and the YouTube channels that we'll be launching in 2016 in order to get a message about entrepreneurship, capitalism, freedom, taking control of your life into the mainstream. Because I believe that we are at a tipping point in this world where it is time that we have as many empowered, responsible individuals taking authority over their lives and that is how we change the world. We also are going to making a big announcement in 2016 because we are going to be moving over to a new platform in 2016. We have purchased a new name Freedom Fastlane will exist exactly as it is, exactly how you have come to expect it. But we'll be partnering with a slew of other content providers to create something much, much bigger. That won't occur until the end of 2016, but you will hear me talk about the project throughout 2016. We are going in a much, much bigger direction in 2016. If you were at Freedom Fast Lane Live, you got only a taste of that, of where we are going next year. We sold. We had 400 people attend Freedom Fast Lane live in 2015. We're creating space for 750 in 2016. And with the direction we are going and the message we are bringing, you'll want to be a part of that. It's been an honor to serve you in 2015. It's been an honor to have this podcast downloaded by tens of thousands of people every week or however often I get this thing out. So thank you for being a part of this. Please spread the word. We're doing amazing things in 2016, and I can't wait to have you as a part of it. I hope 2016 is a prosperous year, the best year you've ever had, and I'm honored to be part of your journey. Happy New Year, and here's to all the best in 2016.
