Making that deal happen. Just turn my whole day around. Just turn my whole day around. Because I know we'll just smash it for that client.
Hey, capitalists. It's time to crack open your favorite beverage.

This is Wednesday with Wyan on capitalism dot com.
What's up, everybody? It was a weird day today. So I do this weird, weird. I do this very helpful strategy that I call.
Success stacking or the success snowball. And basically what it looks like is if I feel like I'm in a rut, if I feel like I am not, I don't got my mojo. Then I do this strategy where I look at, like, what am I stressed about, what's not working? And then I just try to get a little bit of momentum going. I just try to get a little hint of a snowball going in. Like, sometimes that means I need to go get a haircut or I need to go to the gym or something like that. But today.
I was feeling like I was in this real rut. I did not sleep last night. I don't know what was going on. It's not because I'm stressed or anything. I just couldn't sleep. My mind was racing. I got a thousand ideas going on, and that's kind of a good thing. But I did this big journal entry last night or this morning, which is basically like.
Sort of like, I feel down today. Here's why I'm down. I feel like I don't have momentum. And so I started going through this process of, like, what do I do to kind of get back on track? And the thing that I said was, like, you know, what I need to do is I need to make an offer. Like, the thing that will snap you out of all momentum is go make a sale. Cause that's momentum. And so I had a prospective client that I just really want to work with. I just know I can help them. I have this program that I don't talk about at all is our partner program. It's basically our advertising. Our advertising program. And it's where if somebody has a product or if somebody has a service or somebody has something that would be of benefit to my audience, then we will feature them. Sometimes we put them on stage, sometimes we bring them on the podcast, Sometimes we talk about them on the podcast. They're always in front of our audience. We might write articles about them. You know, we really get behind their brand. It's when we might promote them as an affiliate. It's like when we really get behind somebody and we charge you know, we charge a healthy premium for that. You know, that's kind of the thing we don't talk about. I only ever want to have like a handful of those at a time because they get a lot of our attention, a lot of our resources, and we really grow their businesses. So if they've got, you know, a product they want to grow or this is really good for like people, people who have investment funds and stuff like that and would benefit from being in front of a lot of entrepreneurs anyway. There's somebody I just really have wanted to work with for a long time. And we had a call today. It was just an obvious home run fit for both of us. So making that deal happen just turn my whole day around. Just turn my whole day around. Cause I know we'll just smash it for that client. And so then it just became about like great, like, can I make more offers? Can I? And so then it's got me thinking about like, all right, you know, how do I need to start positioning our programs and the things that we're really good at to get more clients? And I had just had this thought that really, oh my goodness. I don't know why I didn't think about this before, but I just realized a positioning thing that we've been doing where I've been positioning capitalism.com as attracting not the right people. You know, we've been track attracting more like bottom feeders and make money online people rather than really established entrepreneurs and business owners. And I just, I finally saw where I have been doing that and I proposed something to the marketing team to change that. And I think it'll really just fix it. And it was like this small tweak and we'll see once some results come in. But I really think it's going to change how we are perceived in the marketplace. It just really slapped me in the face of where I was basically. You know, when we run advertising, we do the more mass market advertising. And to be mass market, you got to talk to a mass market. And I found a way.
To do, to still be mass market, to grow capitalism, but to not lead with like a front end offer. Lead with, you know, the offer that is for, for the exact people you're trying to attract. So you can still put content in front of the mass market, but you only attract the clients that you really love to work with. So it was a big, ah, there it is moment. Like that was stupid easy. Why didn't I see that years ago? So those things turn my whole day around a really Weird thing is going on where I have really good team members now and so a lot of work is off my plate and so I've had time to think.
And in a way I'm kind of driving myself crazy.
Because now.
I could have a big insight and be done for the day. That's weird for me.
I'm usually working 12, 16 hours a day, so it's a bit of an adjustment for me. So part of my process right now is learning how to lead as a leader rather than lead as a workhorse. And that's part of my transition right now. All right, so that's the. That's what we're doing. I'm really excited to be doing podcasts five to seven days a week and just making a lot of content. That's really exciting and it feels really good to be able to monetize the audience. Monetize, you know, build the business on something that isn't info products, but build it around having a platform for other businesses that are really going to make an impact. And that's our partner program that I mentioned earlier. I don't advertise it, I don't talk about it much. I have to know you. And usually it's from somebody's in the back room and they were like, hey, look, we could do a lot for your business. And so just having that level is elevating the group in the back room as well. So I really feel the momentum in the direction of the company.
And it feels weird to.
Be working on the business rather than in the business. That's my transition as an entrepreneur. Alright, thanks for watching. Talk to you soon.
