Heather Kennett explains how to apply curl products on wash day without weighing hair down. Skip the scalp, start at mid-lengths and ends, and use small amounts. A lightweight casting cream adds volume; skip leave-in conditioner if you're using styling cream instead.
Just a recap on product application techniques, please don't grab any of your products and plonk them on your scalp. You'll want to either do it in your all in one wash day or place through the middle through the ends and work them up to your scalp. Also in the styling videos we have discussed on repeat, leave in conditioner and style it. Depending on what you're wanting to use, you could be using. You could be skipping the leave in conditioner and going straight with Stylet. For more volume you could be using casting cream which means you need to go a little bit more gently if you're using that, it's rich for moisture. You'll need to apply that in the normal way you normally would. The same with Tame and the same with any other products. So you just need to put small amounts in as you're going.
