I just wanted to talk quickly about winter curl care. So we've added a winter curl care selection to the site. They're aimed at people that are already following the Curly Girl method. So the products that we've included are Co Wash, Leave In, Tame, it's Rich Tonic, Treat it option of Casting Queen or Stylet. You're going to need to co wash a bit more often in the winter for the extra moisture that your hair needs every seven days at least if not less. To avoid dry hair dry scalp if you're struggling to get moisture into your hair and that's been an issue for you as the seasons have changed, I'd recommend trying our Co Wash Plus. Or if you have the ultimate Curly Girl kit, use the Detox Pre Wash. So either Pre wash with Detox. It's a clarifying product which will then allow the moisture in because you may have some buildup on your hair. Similar to Co Wash plus that has a cleansing agent and it will get any buildup away from your hair and therefore let the moisture in. So if you're struggling, you're putting moisture and you're doing a deep treatments and you're using Treat it but your hair is still dry, try either Detox or Co Wash plus to clarify and cleanse. To be able to let more moisture in, you need to consider deep treating more often. So using treat it a little bit more frequently maybe than you did in the summer. And you need to consider not going out as much with wet hair. I did a funny video about wearing a plop and hat on the school run. But then I will dry my hair air dry or diffuse. And we're drying our hair more regularly in the winter and we're washing it more regularly to keep it more hydrated. So there are some things that can help. I tend to add some it's Rich to my Leave in conditioner makes the product a little bit heavier and therefore moisture moisturizing my hair a bit more. If you have finer hair you can apply it's rich before washing so you're hydrating the hair before you're washing it so it's not leaving it heavy. So use more Leave in when you're styling your hair because leave in attracts moisture. So do try that to keep your hair moisturized in the winter. If it is a dry cold week, you you need to use less tame. So if it's cold and dry and it's not raining, there's no moisture in the air. If you're using tame heavily, it will draw moisture away from your hair. If it's a normal English winter wet rainy, continue to use tame because it will fight the frizz. But if you're having dry hair and you can't put your finger on it about why and what's causing it, if it's not raining outside, it's not humid at all and it's just dry and cold, you may be drawing more moisture away from your hair, so just play that one by ear. So use tame on rainy days. I would suggest that's my general help there for winter curl days. So Winter Curl Care Co Wash leave in tame. If it's British and rainy, it's rich added to your leave in tonic as normal to keep your scalp from being dry and helps with volume. It's really good for volume. Treat it deep conditioning. Consider doing so more regularly. If you're using Stylet and you're wanting to create more of a cast protection, consider switching to Casting Queen. If you have the ultimate curly kit, you will have Bounce Back protein treatment in there. So do take a look at our CGM club. There's a protein versus moisture strand test that you can take. So if you have the ultimate curly kit, you've got everything that you need. Do the protein versus moisture strand test and use either moisture or protein, whatever is required for your hair, but generally just take stock. Use slightly richer more. It's rich in your leave in and that should really hydrate your hair. The other thing to consider is with the microfiber towel holds more moisture, I would say in your hair than the premium towel. So consider a luxury Christmas gift maybe of the premium towel for the winter months. It draws more moisture away but doesn't create frizz. It's made from smart technology.
