Warriors forward Charles Bassey had a double-double but the team lost. He played through an ankle injury and says his focus is on playing hard and taking every chance to help the team win.
Hey, Charles, another double-double tonight. What's been working well for you tonight, uh, for in this stint? What's been working well?
What's been working well? Uh, I mean, I'm just going out there just to play hard, man, you know, um, regardless of, you know, we know we were down bodies today, so obviously wanted to get a win, but man, it's just going out there playing hard, you know, maximize every opportunity I got. So that's, that's what I'm doing, man, just maximize my opportunity out there and just trying to help my My team win, but we know we, we got a loss today. So I mean, we got another opportunity tomorrow. So that's, that's just what I'm doing, man. Just playing hard out there.
You, um, you were on the injury report this morning with, uh, ankle issue. Um, you played through it. How was it though?
Uh, I mean, I'm good. I've played through ankle stuff before, but I mean, they didn't want me, they didn't want me to play, but I'm like, I mean, I gotta get the minutes, man, you know. Um, But yeah, I told him I can go. I tested it this morning, came in for treatment, tested it again this afternoon, and I was, I was good to go. I told him I'm good to play because even though he didn't want me to play, but I was like, you know, I was ready to play. So just leave it out there.
