Charles Cormier describes launching a podcast to leverage his existing outreach skills, book interviews with CEOs and founders using tools (Apollo, SendGrid), and convert a portion of guests into paying clients (about 5–10%). He presents the podcast as a learning channel—asking experts directly instead of reading books—while calling it fulfilling, value-generating, and a way to grow his network.

So. And I also always had this experimental mindset, right? So I thought, why not launch a podcast? I launched a pod because I already knew how to outreach to CEOs and founders at scale. I use Apollo. I use SendGrid to do that. And next thing I knew, I had a calendar full of podcast meeting. And I thought, oh, this is interesting. I can add value to the world for free again, grow my network, right? With billionaires sometimes that I interview on this podcast, I can convert 5 to 10% into clients and I can learn. I've always been a book freak. And I realized that I didn't even need to open books anymore. I could just ask directly my questions to the source, right? While running my businesses, of course. So I thought, like, this activity is so icky, guy. It's so, like, fulfilling, like, all the areas that I want to be great at. I'm making money out of it. I'm helping the world. And the world needs more podcasts and more quality information, right? So I was like, okay, this is fun.
