A planetary address system maps low-slope routes on the Moon and Mars like roads on Earth, letting you pinpoint locations using quadrangles. Three flyout routes are visualized on a grayscale lunar map, creating the first mapped space roads.

We have made the first map of the first roads in space, and it's quite spectacular. So here it is. And I'm not sure how to best display this, but what you see here is a grayscale moon, and these are flyouts. And so these are the first 3 roads that we have charted. And it's based on a planetary address framework that I came up with that allows you to identify point locations on the moon and Mars. Using low-slope routes and quadrangles. And quadrangles are a cartographic concept, but it's very similar to how we identify home addresses on Earth, which are based on a system of roads.
