I can't get my dad back, but I can take his suicide and save lives. You know, that's my podcast, 13 Minutes: Why Every Man Needs a Why, because every 13 minutes in America, a man kills himself. 80% of suicides are men. My life mission is to push that back 1 minute, take— based on my father's experience. Men are struggling, they're suffering, they're in isolation, they're entrepreneur syndrome. What a lie we tell ourselves. I go it alone. I bootstrap it. You can't do anything alone. You certainly can't build a life alone. And so, so many men are in isolation. And so one of the things I do, and Viktor Frankl did, is bring men together in a group, a peer group, right? That's what we call men's peer groups. And so men in groups together start to learn how to be vulnerable and authentic and loving and open up. And that's how you defy this statistic.
