You ever walk into a room and feel like the leader left 10 minutes ago and they're still standing there right in front of you? That's what happens when you get a title but no presence. And presence is the great separator. You can't lead people if you can't move people. And you can't move people if your energy is leaking all over the floor. And. And today we're going to fix that. I'm Chris Hunsicker, and this is the dealership war room. Leadership fire. Built daily, fueled intentionally, and delivered relentlessly. So let's dive in and create some leadership presence. Let's get brutally honest. Most managers talk like leaders and move like followers. They fill time with noise, and they mistake pacing for presence. And their team feels it instantly. And here's the truth that nobody's telling you. Your leadership energy is leaking all over the floor before you ever open your mouth. You walk into a room spinning 12 plates in your head. You're physically present, but you're mentally fragmented. And your team feels the fog. So they check out mentally, emotionally, and behaviorally. Let's talk command presence. This is the skill that determines how. How your team's going to respond before you even say a word. This isn't charisma, and this isn't hype. This is leadership gravity. So why does this matter? Because every time you show up distracted, rushed, emotionally chaotic, you teach your team that chaos is okay. They stop listening, they get distracted, and they create their own gravity. And I promise you, it is not aligned with yours. And then we say really dumb stuff like, yeah, nobody's listening. No, we never train the room how to listen to us. So let's unlock the critical shift, and that is that presence always precedes power. Your team doesn't need a louder manager. They need a more grounded one. So let's open up today's model, and let me show you how you can expand and deepen your presence. I call it the C3 leadership model. Calm, clear, charged. Because those are the ingredients of presence. Let's start with number one. Calm. Your nervous system is your leadership system. Stillness is a signal. And when you're scattered, they're scrambling. It's the mirror neurons that are going on in your brain. What you bring into the room, your team is going to mirror back for you, for good or for bad, if you want connection, and if you want presence, you need calm. Two is clear. You must know the outcome before you speak. Confused leaders create chaotic teams. You know this when you're closing a clear salesperson I know exactly the word track and I know exactly the close. I know the outcome. I'm closing you on buying the car. That is presence. And you can feel it. The newbie that doesn't believe the word track from the desk carries the pencil really weak. That's exactly what happens. And here's the difference. As a manager, you're not closing car deals, you're closing ideas. As a matter of fact, there's a number of sales managers I've met with and I told them if they closed car deals the way they close ideas, they would have starved. There's so many managers that you have this great skill on closing people to buy a car and become a manager and all of a sudden you start using power and control to demand people instead of persuasion and influence. The whole idea of leadership is closing your team on the skills, ideas, habits that are going to make them successful. And you cannot do that without clarity. Number three, charged. And this is critical to presence. Not hyped, not yelling. Charged means your energy is aligned with the mission and felt before you even speak. That is the 3C leadership model. Calm, clear and charged. And then you have presence and that gives you influence. So how about a little leadership fire? I call this the tactical reset. 30 seconds before you lead, what you want to do is reset your state, make sure that it's aligned, and get back to running the tool. Am I calm? Am I clear? Am I charged? Now, I've talked to you about using Chat GTP in the past. This is a great way to use AI to help create the exact clarity and energy that you're looking for. So here's what I want you to do. I open up Chat GTP and drop in this prompt, act as my leadership coach. I need a 60 second talk that anchors calm, clear, charged energy before leading my team. Help me frame it, Then rehearse it, feel it in your body and go lead with it. Or let me give you a second, one that I use in my Air Die class again. Open up ChatGPT and drop in this prompt, act as my leadership coach. I need to run a sales huddle for 10 reps. In 60 seconds, help me craft a message that's clear, calm and sets the tone without sounding like I'm yelling. In 30 seconds you'll have a message. In 60 seconds you can practice it. And in 90 seconds, you will walk into that room completely in command. So let me share with you a bonus tool that I use every time before I speak and almost every time, every one on one before I start A one on one. I run through this little five second ritual and I commend it to you as a way to instantly reset your state and align your command presence. Number one, exhale slowly. Number two, drop your shoulders. Number three, say internally, I am calm. Clear. I am charged. Number four, visualize the room responding. Step up and enter. These five steps, rewire your physiology to match your intention. Because leadership is energetic before it's ever tactical. Today's war room challenge. Stop leaking, start leading. Walk into a room and run the 3C protocol. Calm body, clear mission charged presence. And then observe. The team will feel the difference and you won't have to say a word. So let's finish with this thought. Leadership isn't taught, it's transferred. And your presence, how you enter the room is transferring every single time. Make it intentional, make it electric and make it aligned. Please remember, presence beats volume and clarity beats charisma. You don't need to yell louder. You need to show up cleaner. And like always, none of this matters if you don't practice it. So use the 3C tool. Use the war room challenge. Practice. Practice this. And start commanding the presence that you already know that you have. And show up as your absolute best self. And I will see you tomorrow in the dealership war room.
