Foreign. This week is behavioral change week in the dealership war room. Because you don't rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your team's habits. If your team keeps showing up late, skipping steps and doing whatever the heck they want after every meeting, that's on you. So every day this week, I'm handing you a weapon. A tool, a. A mindset, A framework to eliminate excuses, install habits, and finally build a team that can execute you. Say you're elite, prove it. And show up every day this week in the war room. Your team isn't broken. They're just running bad scripts that you never meant to teach. Shane slammed down his dry erase marker. It's Monday morning, 7:45am and three empty chairs. No call, no text, just a they're on their way again. He used to joke about it. Now he's pissed. And not because they're late, but because deep down inside somewhere he knows they learned it from him. I'm Chris Hunsaker and this is the dealership war room. Leadership fire. Built daily, fueled intentionally and delivered relentlessly. And hey. A huge shout out to everyone who's been sharing the war room with other leaders. I am deeply grateful. And you're the reason this is growing. And I appreciate so much you trusting me with your teams, with your mindsets, and with your mornings. And now as we get to Friday, I'm going to drop another thing in the box of awesome. So if you have some thoughts or ideas about what you'd like to see in the box of awesome, drop it in the comments and let me know if you're on the YouTube channels like subscribe and let's grow this tribe. Every team in your work life and in your home life runs on scripts. Unspoken, invisible behaviors that feel normal because no one has ever challenged them. Around here, we skip write ups when we're tired, ghost customers when we're behind, and show up late for meetings and huddles, but still make sure time to stop and get donuts first. No one ever voted on these. They just grew like mold. But if you don't name them, your culture will never change them. So today I want to hand you a sharper weapon. One that you can use immediately in the meeting, in the hallway, and on the drive home. It's called the culture reset loop. Spot it. Observe the pattern without excuse. Say it. Call out the script and name a new one. Show it. Lead by example every time. Celebrate it. Reinforce it loudly and publicly. Repeat it. Keep the loop going until it sticks. So let's go back to Shane. The problem wasn't the missed huddles. It was the accidental script that said warnings don't matter. And he reinforced it with his jokes, his shrugs, and his silence. So here's what he did. He spotted it, he named it and he showed it. And then with great courage, he stood in front of his entire team and said, guys, I've been teaching you the wrong thing. We've normalized showing up late. And today that ends from now on, 7:45 sharp means we're starting the meeting with or without you. And the next day showed up early with notes and donuts. He celebrated the first guy to show up within five days. The room was full before the clock even hit 7:44. You don't need a new mission statement. You need a new default setting. This week's war room challenge comes down to one simple fact. This week, you either confront a toxic norm or you co sign it because your silence is still a signature. So here's the challenge. Spot one invisible script that's dragging your team down. Say it out loud to the team and start a reset loop today. And if you'd like the one page culture reset visual, just comment in the comments on YouTube and give me a way to contact you and I will send you a copy of it that you can use in your very next one on one to help start creating your own reset loops. I hope this hit home and I hope you can see some areas where you can tighten things up a little bit and you can really help move things forward. And I'd love it. If you know a script that you're changing, email me or tell me, text me, DM me, whatever you want to do. Let me know what you're doing and how you're changing. Because here's the deal. Culture does not change because you care. Culture changes because you correct. And correction takes courage. And every day you have to make a choice in every moment, are you going to step forward into courage or backwards into comfort? Because it's not enough to care about your team. It's not enough to care about your culture. Culture does not change because you care. Culture changes because you correct. Have the courage to step into courage and make the corrections that you need to make so you can build a culture that you want to have. And with that, I will see you tomorrow in the dealership war room. Sam.
