Don Miller told the speaker that stripping away ego reveals your natural talents and lets you perform better. The speaker spent a half-day with Miller in Nashville after a podcast interview and kept thinking about this one thing he said.
It was in Nashville that I had the opportunity to spend a half day with Don Miller, maybe even more than that. After the interview on Becoming Self-Made, we went for a drive around. He shared something on the interview, but in different perspectives throughout the day, the necessity to diminish our egos. And when our ego is ripped out of us, you really discover where your true natural talents are, and you can perform much better. Ego is often the barrier to success, is what I learned from Don Miller. It's a fascinating interview from a fascinating man. I hope you enjoy the episode.
