Mm, that drives me nuts. It drives me nuts. So many entrepreneurs are like, Mike, it's all about the top line. My revenue's a million, I surpassed a million, or 5 million, or 10 million. Other entrepreneurs are like, well, you know, when I get to the million, or 5, or 10, or whatever the number is, I'll have arrived. Bullshit talk, eh. Here is what matters in a business, profitability. Profitability is everything. Stop selling just to sell. In fact, selling more brings more stress on your organization, more responsibility, more things you need to deliver. And if it's not profitable, it will actually bury your business. Identify the products and services that are profitable. Sell those. Have the discipline to ditch the others. That's a healthy company.
